I don't see Korea or any other country telling their abroad citizens to get their butt's back to their homeland. I am sticking with approved and alleged prophecy that speaks of Russia as the ratchet to starting the conflict. They have had 30 years to gear up for what they are about to unleash and while they may have their allies (China) they will be the driver and it is on their time table when they act. I don't see them bluffing at all, and lets not forget, Satan is driving the minds and hearts of egotistic leaders now and they will respond to their puppet master.
There would be an upside to economic catastrophe. For example, you have access to fish. You mightn't be fond of fish, but hunger is a great sauce! Additionally, you might catch more than you need and this will allow you to offer the excess to a neighbour rather than allow it to go to waste. There would be multiple opportunities for increased neighbourliness. Of course, you'd still need your guns to shoot anyone trying to steal your fish.
It may not all be satan's work. Did not God use the Roman legions to strike down Jerusalem? To me, it is the Obama administration who seem to be doing satan's work rather than Russia. Who recently attacked the Syrian army, an attack which facilitated an ISIS attack? Of course, we are expected to believe this was an accident.
It is all Satan's work, but he indeed is not just working on Russia, but all world countries. Russia will just be the ratchet of starting the global conquest when Fatima (and other prophecy) are fulfilled.
Are you sure it is all the work of satan? If we deserve Chastisement, and it is hard to argue otherwise, might one not expect such Justice to be divine? Did not God deliver judgement on Sodom and Gomorrah? Was not the sack of Jerusalem the will of God, one which Our Lord Himself prophesied? Undoubtedly, the evil one is playing a major part in this war which is both worldly and celestial, but will God allow the wholesale destruction of the planet and its people unless it be His Will?
The question seems to be, Justice for what? Our Blessed Mother keeps repeating since Fatima (even before at La Sallette) that the justice is coming because man is not following the love and truth of the Lord, but the promptings of his adversary, Satan. Today, Satan is unchained, as Pope Leo foresaw in his vision in the late 1800's. This is his time and he knows it is coming to a close and he is using all his stooges running the countries and the economies of the world to do his bidding. Justice comes, because sinful man has chosen to follow Satan's way, not the Lord's. We can argue all day, which stooges are being most used by the Evil One, but they are not at the root of the evil.
I think it is a good reminder to hear what Our Blessed Mother said at Fatima. It is an either/or proposition and our Popes have chose the "or" in refusing to consecrate Russia. Unless someone can show me where a Holy Father has consecrated Russia together with all the bishops and the era of peace that was to come afterwards, one can assume with confidence this is reason our world is on the verge of a complete purification as Our Lady of Fatima foretold. Russia wasn't "bluffing" when it came to Georgia....still there; they weren't bluffing when the first opening inviting them to grab hold of Eastern Ukraine arrived; they aren't currently bluffing when now, going beyond just having their toes in the sands of Syria, they have a foothold and beyond, using Assad and thus in union with the biggest providers of terror in the region and beyond, Iran, and using each day to place fear in any weak saber rattlers against them; and they aren't bluffing on the use of their "new" more highly technical means of destruction...using EMPs (as they themselves are admitting to the world these days) nor their deadly presence of armaments on the edge of the highly nervous Baltic States. Since it's Satan's last stand and he knows it, it's not wise at this moment to whistle past this coming graveyard which, in the aftermath of attacks, could take months to create in the horrendously grand clean up (take a look at Aleppo) ....all controlled by the "spirit" of Satanic infiltration into any useful vehicle, esp. those willing dupes in leadership positions of our world today. The errors of Russia have certainly spread around the world. I believe that in transmuting into politically correct, secular liberalism they have become far worse. The communists had to intimidate their citizens into going along with their lies-the liberals are persuading vast numbers to voluntarily live their lies and delusions and using these fellow-travellors to intimidate the rest of us. The communists never became as sexually degenerate as the liberals-indeed, they generally discouraged libertinism and despised homosexuality, even if their only motivation was that they realised that such behaviour ruins a society and renders it unfit for purpose (literally demoralises it). I tend to sympathise with the view that Pope John Paul II consecrated Russia in an imperfect way and even if he made a bit of a hames of it, God appreciates the imperfection of Man and still provided considerable graces for the effort. I think the astonishing collapse of the Soviet bloc in 1989-1990 is evidence that is not that easy to discount. The absence of a period of peace may be a result of the inadequacies of the consecration. I don't see any reason to believe God is a rigorist on this or any matter. If He was, He would never have sacrificed His Only Son. Whichever viewpoint is true, there is still every reason to fear an escalation into a WWIII, with Russia as the battering ram. What would worry me from the prophesies is the lack of mention of the US. Why is the United States not mentioned, in the approved prophesies at least? My fear would be that the US receives such a devastating and immediate initial blow from a Russian strike that she is immediately rendered irrelevant, leaving Europe, particularly in the guise of the French, to fend for herself. The Russians are reported to have made considerable technological strides in recent years, both in weapons development and cyber-technology. This may be propaganda, nefariously possible from either side. Let us hope so. And let us pray.
Well of course the arguments about the consecration will go on and on and, for a time, I wasn't sure, but the recent book from Sr Lucia's convent of Sister Lucia's life with many of her letters has confirmed the following accounts given on the EWTN website. Sister Lucia's clear explanation should be accepted. 1984, March 25th. Pope John Paul 11 in Rome, collegially with the bishops. In 1981 not much preparation had been done to assure the participation of many bishops. This consecration was preceded by a letter of the Pope, and it is probable that as many as 2/3rd of the Catholic bishops of the world took part in their cathedrals. Although at first the Holy Father manifested some uncertainty whether he complied with Our Lady's request, within one year of the Consecration the changes in the Soviet Union began that led to the fall of state atheism and the dissolution of the Soviet bloc in a manner which the world remains at a loss to explain. We now know that Sr. Lucia has told the Pope, as she has told others who have asked, that God has accepted the 1984 consecration as satisfying the request of our Lady of Fátima. In a letter from 1989 she wrote the following about the various Consecrations done over the years by the Popes. On Oct. 31, 1942, His Holiness Pius XII made the Consecration. I was asked if it was made as Our Lady requested. I answered "NO," because it was not made in union with all the bishops of the world. Later, on May 13, 1967, His Holiness Paul VI made the Consecration. I was asked if it was made as Our Lady requested. I responded "NO," for the same reason, it was not made in union with all the bishops of the world. On May 13, 1982, His Holiness John Paul II made the Consecration. I was asked if it was made. I responded "NO." It was not made in union with all the bishops of the world. Then this same Supreme Pontiff, John Paul II wrote to all the bishops of the world asking them to unite with him. He sent for the statute of Our Lady of Fátima -- the one from the little Chapel to be taken to Rome and on March 25, 1984 - publicly - with the bishops who wanted to unite with His Holiness, made the Consecration as Our Lady requested. They then asked me if it was made as Our Lady requested, and I said, "YES." Now it was made. The Pope himself has acknowledged to others, including Bishop Hnilica, that the changes in the Soviet Union are due to the Consecration. As Bishop Hnilica has stated, "This is in some way coming to pass, but it demands that we bear our part of the responsibility." The process is not automatic - is Russia converted? No, but they are free to believe, in some cases more free than in the United States. Conversion requires the change of heart of people. State atheism is gone, but atheism and materialism remain to be conquered in souls.
