Pope Francis Apostolic Exhortation

Discussion in 'Pope Francis' started by Advocate, Dec 31, 2015.

  1. As I said Aviso looks at this site and I have just looked at his. If you look at it you will see that he is once again threatening me. In the past he has threatened me with physical violence. In this latest threat he says that one of his friends who reads MOG brought my post to his attention. He even indirectly threatens the presence of my statue of Our Lady of Akita in Garabandal. (He even threatens me with exclusion from the Garabandal Miracle.) Contrary to his claim Her presence there owes nothing to Aviso. He tells me (again) I am no longer welcome on his site. This is the madness of apostasy and is a taste of the persecution we can expect from both in and out of the church.

When one must resort to threats and violence one has lost the argument. Anyway, he is wasting his time with someone like yourself.

I pray everyday, or as close as I can to it, that Pope Francis is the man of truth you assert and I hope you're right, Joe. God bless.

So do I. At Mass this evening, I had a conversation with Jesus about it. Well, it was a monologue from me setting out my position and asking God to either set me straight or inspire the Pope to explain what he's about in clear language that we don't need to be theologians or Jesuit spiritualists to understand.

  5. I humbly suggest that prayer is always a conversation even if we cannot immediately hear the reply. It sounds like a very special exchange. God bless you.

    I found the quote Joe.
I was not trying to misrepresent you.
I was just running from memory. And I got it wrong.I am sorry.
So no need to believe you are being martyred here on the forum. I deleted my original post within a couple of minutes. But you have to make a giant drama out of it.

ARTICLE 2: PARTICIPATION IN THE BLESSED EUCHARIST
    Can. 912
Any baptised person who is not forbidden by law may and must be admitted to holy communion.
"Whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, whatsoever you shall loose on earth shal be loose in heaven."
Can Pope Francis not accept the Lutherans into the fold if they proclaim the same creed as us and acknowledge that in their faith, the properly consecrated Eucharist is the glorified Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Is this not what he is working towards. Is this not a wonderful end to their separation. A new beginning.
Look at the law , if not forbidden, they MAY AND MUST be admitted.http://motheofgod.com/threads/sign-after-sign-after-sign.6412/page-113#post-116805

Please, Joe, spare me the "humbly" part of the suggestion. You're starting to sound like a candidate for Papal Nuncio.;) It's very clear from your posts that you are one of the world's good guys with a devotion to the Mother of God, a truly committed believer in all that the Church teaches and any arguments you make stem from an honest effort to set people on the right track. Your genuineness (if that's a word) shines through even when you get cranky.

I'm afraid there was nothing special about the monologue. It's par for the course with me and God. I'm amazed that he actually answers any of my prayers and hope that this evening's efforts haven't scuppered the chances of all the other intentions I've been praying for.

    God bless you too.

  8. You are a cheeky so and so. Giant drama indeed. Still no apology from you Mac. Still no admission of wrong. No drama from me Mac. As usual you are the one who is fabricating. I did not say that all Lutherans must be admitted. It is very clear I said that if they converted to our faith they must be admitted. No wonder you get Pope Francis wrong. Are you now rejecting canon law? Oh yes I forgot you reject everything as heresy that is not endorsed fully by SSPX. It will be a great miracle if Pope Francis can find a way home for you guys but an even greater miracle if you and your mates follow on that road. Canon 192 presumes a worthy state for reception. Conversion with repentance and valid sacramental absolution constitutes such a worthy state. Would you consider it a grave sin to attend a Mass of the New Rite as many in SSPX do and that even if it means mass on a Sunday it is better not to attend such a mass? Again, as with my last question I doubt if I will get a straight answer from you. I asked questions and quoted canon law. I made no statement like the one you accused me of making. If members on this forum put words into the mouths of others no one can be trusted. There is no point to the forum especially when that misrepresention extends to our Holy Father. This destroys the Catholicity of the forum and eliminates its raison d'ĂȘtre. This is not a drama. It is a serious problem. And you insist on bringing it back to life. You waste our time.
Edit. Just seen your apology. Accepted.

  9. Point taken Dolours. No more niceties (vomit vomit) from me as far as you are concerned. But remember I tried to curb my crankiness.

No, actually, it was not clear that you were referencing Lutherans who had converted to Catholicism. I just reviewed Mac's link and the subsequent discussion, which was about the pope admitting Lutherans as Lutherans to our Communion. Your statement did not clarify they had converted to Catholicism, only that individuals who believed what we believe should be admitted.

You need to cut out the false persecution complex, be more clear in your position, and apologize to Mac for misrepresenting what you actuually said.

May I ask you in your opinion, what does an apostate Pope look like to you? What kind of exhortations does he make to make you think.....that pope sounds like he is in apostasy to me? I have been a reader of both sites and am familiar with your unwavering advocacy of Pope Francis, but now I would like to ask you, what would a Pope have to do or say for you to think he is in apostasy?

  12. Rubbish. No false persecution complex here. There is no illusion about your bullying disposition and as we all know the best way to treat a bully is to stand up to him. This is especially true when the bully is joined by others of like manner. I have dealt fairly and squarely with your partner in crime and it is none of your business. You are both wrong and offensive in this matter. Your obtuse attitude here is similar to that which you apply to statements by Our Holy Father. You refuse to see his true meaning and see only what you want to see in order to justify yourself. As such I consider you a menace to the faith and if this were my site you would not be welcome. Why don't you just leave. Start your own blog and lead others down the garden path there. 'Down' being the operative word.

  13. I put the question back to you. What in your opinion would a pope have to say or do to convict him of apostasy. Do you accuse Pope Francis of heresy?

  15. Do you call Pope Francis a heretic?

It seems as though we are at an impasse. I am asking you what your definition of an apostate pope is and you refuse to answer the question. A person who refuses to consider that there may come a day when we have an apostate pope, will not recognize one when he comes along because they have not thought it through. If you fall for everything, you will stand for nothing.

I've been patient and fair with you Joe, even kind. I'm not going to come down to your level of discourse. If the site owner wants to ban me, that's ok too. But given your behavior of late, I'm going to have to place you on ignore. Be assured of my prayers for you and may God bless you.

  18. It seems you will not come clean and I am not going to step into your trap. Goodbye.

  19. You have not been neither patient nor fair. You have been downright abusive and in an extremely underhand way. You are a disgrace, Brian. I am sure you will not be banned but due to your relentless unwarranted attacks on Pope Francis I wonder why. I have forgiven your personal offences and I hold nothing against you. But your behaviour is unacceptable on a Catholic site.

  20. If like Brian your comment is an expression of your personal opinion about me then you do not know what you are talking about: you know neither me nor my way of thinking. I do not know you but by your response I feel my suspicions were justified. I will not take your bate.
