When I think of heaven I often think of the words of the Prophet Isiah, 'That every tear will be wiped away'. (there). Isaiah 25:8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people's disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. Isaiah 35:10 and those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Yet at Zaro and so many other apparition sites we see Mary, who comes to us from heaven weeps , including pictures, icons and statues..even tears of blood. How can this be if the words of Isaiah are to be fulfilled and evry tear wied away? I think of the words of so many of the saints telling us how they will speand their Eternity doing good on Earth. So Mary Our Mother has one foot in heaven and one foot on Earth so to speak and so can share our tears. I find this so very touching that she should do so and drink of the wine which we must drink, she who is blameless.

Jesus was dressed in white (a resplendent linen tunic). His right hand was resting on his chest and in his left hand was a banner with a small red cross over it. Jesus was covered with a splendid light; his feet were bare. Behind him could be seen the tomb with the stone rolled to one side. Behind him, the tomb was dark, and Jesus was surrounded by a crowd singing. May Jesus Christ be praised "Peace to you. Peace to you and your families. My dear children, dear friends, my dear brothers, thank you for being here in my blessed woods on this day of resurrection and peace. Little children, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, I am who I am." At this point Jesus opened his arms and prayed over those present; from his hands came out rays of light that went out and rested on those present, touching them. "Dearly beloved little children, today I inflame you with the fire of my Love. Dear children, I beseech you to abandon sin and to rise with me. Dearly beloved brethren, what are you waiting for in order to convert? What are you waiting for in order to leave [behind] the old man, to rise again and to let yourselves be clothed and flooded by my love and the love of my mother? I can understand why one ray of light would be red, representing the blood shed. But can anyone guess why one ray of light would be blue?
I think it could be because sometimes when we see water it appears to be blue. Even the sea because it is reflecting the sky. Just a thought. And when you think of it the red or pinky colour that is represented sometimes in the image is not really the colour of blood. But we know what it means. Just a thought.

Thanks Steph I did not know that. I suppose the coulrs are themselves are message and are in line with the message itself. An Icon of course is one big message. Lets see the message itself..and it does seem to central to the humanity of Christ. I ams truck by what great teachers some of these messages are, they teach such a lot in such a short space.
The two rays denote Blood and Water. The pale ray stands for the water that makes souls righteous. The red ray stands for the Blood which is the life of souls ... These two rays issued forth from the very depths of My tender mercy when my agonized Heart was opened by a lance on the Cross. (Diary, 299). From memory the original painting had only two rays one red and the other white I think the blue tinge was an artist addition..

On each foot a white rosebud, on her chest (in the centre), was a heart formed by many small buds of white roses. Her feet were bare and were resting on a rock from which water was coming out. Mother had her hands clasped in prayer; in her hands was a long Holy Rosary that emanated a great light. Mother was surrounded by many angels who were singing a sweet melody. Mother was smiling. May Jesus Christ be praised "Dear children, thank you that this evening you have received and responded to this call of mine. My children, today I rejoice with you and pray for each of you. You are my children and I am your mother. I love you, I love you immensely and if I am here it is because I want to save all of you and to close the gates of hell for ever. My dearly beloved children, many times, because of sin, you distance yourselves from God and in so doing you strengthen the enemy, letting yourselves be deceived. My children, in my heart there is room for everyone, knock and I will let you enter. I am your Mother and I wait for you all with open arms. Be converted, little children, be converted before it is too late. My little children, the time is short, you are really near and if I am here it is because I want to save you. Little children, in every message of mine, I ask you: be converted! Approach the sacraments, do not wait to see signs and wonders. The sign is my Son Jesus truly alive in the Blessed Sacrament. May Jesus Christ be praised "Dear children! I come to you as queen and mother of all peoples. Only the one who comes to me will have eternal life, Jesus says, and how you can come to Him my children except through prayer, love, holy Confession and Eucharistic adoration? He is there, alive and real and waiting for you! My children, God the Father is a God of great mercy, love and justice, and to each he will give what they deserve. God the Father, in his immense love, fills you with every good thing and grace, but alas, my children, too often your hearts are closed, your ears deaf and your eyes blind to the love and grace of God, and so you turn away from Him, binding yourselves more and more to the false beauty of this world of corruption. I treasure this message. It expresses the essence of the Gospel. There are no tantalizing hints of future events. Mary simply asks us to look to others' needs and to give Jesus first place in our hearts because He is the only one who can quench our thirst! How I long to be wrapped in the celestial light that surrounds Our Lady- a sign of the loving, majestic presence of God: 1Tim 6:14 ...keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords , 16 who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.
