Thank you Don and Byron. I thought that the tribe of Dan made their way to Africa. I know that some Protestant sect in the 19th century had a notion that the Ark of the Covenant was buried in Ireland and tried digging for it at some ancient archaeological site, but links to the tribe of Dan are news to me. If Indians ever get to be a significant voting block in the US there'll be politicians "converting" to Hinduism by the bucket load.
Jews expect a descendant of David as their deliverer (Messiah) and Muslims expect a descendant of Mohammed *(Imam Mahdi) as their Messianic figure, I would imagine that the probability of someone being the Antichrist requires a very special geneology that considers these factors
ON YOUTUBE?! GREAT! I was thinking it would never be available in the states! Trivia note: There's a scene early in the film where the ringleader gets into a taxi as a man is exiting. The man leaving the taxi was the real ringleader in the original caper.
It's also included on Amazon Prime with their IMDB subscription which I believe must be part of prime because I certainly never subscribed to it.
I love stories about the Ark of the Convenient (probably because I was a small boy when Indiana Jones came out lol). Many speculate and wonder where it is and many claim to know where it is whether that be Africa, Europe or someplace else. What many don't know is that in our Catholic bibles, it is clearly stated where the ark is: ◄ 2 Maccabees 2 ► Douay-Rheims Bible 1Now it is found in the descriptions of Jeremias, the prophet, that he commanded them that went into captivity, to take the fire, as it hath been signified, and how he gave charge to them that were carried away into captivity. 2And how he gave them the law, that they should not forget the commandments of the Lord, and that they should not err in their minds, seeing the idols of gold, and silver, and the ornaments of them. 3And with other such like speeches, he exhorted them that they would not remove the law from their heart. 4It was also contained in the same writing, how the prophet, being warned by God, commanded that the tabernacle and the ark should accompany him, till he came forth to the mountain where Moses went up, and saw the inheritance of God. 5And when Jeremias came thither he found a hollow cave: and he carried in thither the tabernacle, and the ark, and the altar of incense, and so stopped the door. 6Then some of them that followed him, came up to mark the place: but they could not find it. 7And when Jeremias perceived it, he blamed them, saying: The place shall be unknown, till God gather together the congregation of the people, and receive them to mercy. 8And then the Lord will shew these things, and the majesty of the Lord shall appear, and there shall be a cloud as it was also shewed to Moses, and he shewed it when Solomon prayed that the place might be sanctified to the great God.
There is a book you might enjoy by a guy named David Flynn. He wrote books explaining things like the ancient mystery religions and so on. Here's a book that has pretty much everything he wrote: https://www.thriftbooks.com/w/the-david-flynn-collection/9078520/#edition=8398552&idiq=6388383 Most of what he wrote will show that he could reasonably be called a cornflake. BUT ... the stuff that ISN'T flakey is very powerful. You need to read, "The Temple At The Center Of Time". In it he shows how the Sacred Cubit (defined by Newton as 25.20 inches) shows up in remarkably many places, and can be used as a "time = distance" measurement for historical events. https://www.thriftbooks.com/w/templ...-e-flynn/331860/#edition=5209437&idiq=3904811
