Yes I have seen the miracles myself with my own family. The rosary...and I would add consecration to mary...get those rosaries multiplied!!! No matter how far they are or even atheist, never ever give up!!
Its strange the way things come together. I watched the Italian film on St Augustine yesterday. St Monica, through her prayers won over both her son and a very bad tempered husband to the Faith. A wonderful woman, though I thought she was not well portrayed in the film, she was little bad tempered and harpy there.
I heard part of a good talk on Celtic Connections radio pragram on Ave Maria yesterday. The man said to Kathy Sinnott to look at all the times in Scripture when a parent came to Jesus to plead for their child, and to see what Jesus said and did. We can only be consoled by the faithfulness of God. He is so good
I read this probably a year ago and felt is was a very compelling argument for absolute proof that God exists because biblical prophesy was fulfilled the moment Israel became a nation again. God said that the Jews would lose their homeland, be scattered all around the world and greatly reduced in numbers, then the day would come when they would once again regain their homeland. How could something like this be prophesied 3000 years ago then come to fruition in the 1940's. No one could make such a claim and be accurate other than the all knowing God. http://www.bbea.org/images/pdfs/doc_tracts/Israel, Prophecy and Fulfillment - Absolute Proof.pdf
A video has now emerged of the cross being cut down. Those responsible have expressed anti-Catholic sentiment in an email to journalists and are urging others to share the video if they agree. They also stated that the reason they did it was due to "schools in Ireland being Catholic in ethos". It is a fairly concerning reflection of the times we are in... http://www.thejournal.ie/carrauntoohil-cross-3-1810988-Dec2014/
John 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. I would say the poor man who did this is just not well. Praying for him at mass this morning. I hope they put the Cross back up there when the weather gets a little better. ..and a mass in Reparation. But he is lucky I didn't catch him doing it.
Just reporting that the cross was re erected without any fanfare last weekend by a large group of local people. They just went right ahead with it and all is now as was. The rosary is the key for praying for your family. It has certainly helped me. Our lady has given wonderful promises if we are faithful to the rosary. No matter how things seem keep praying the rosary for your family members and they will get an opportunity. Its a very difficult world now for young people growing up so lots of prayer is needed for them. Mary
