Went to morning Mass today in Glenravel. No mass on Saturday morning and so simply did my devotions. I felt carried away on waves of peace and joy. Jesus never leaves us short if we but make the effort.
Of course this should not be confused with this today because this was prophesied as a sign. That it was not an ordinary natural phenomenon and that the scene was spectacular shows that people called the fire department in large numbers. Below is an eyewitness of a child who also saw that Strange and Unknown Light on Jan. 25, 1938: "Far away as far as my eyes could see, I saw something coming up from the ground. It went up to the sky and was going up... Looking out over the surrounding olive trees to the other end of the landscape, they saw the sky burn a vibrant red. "It was as red as red can be ... like in flames," he said. The rest of the sky was completely dark. "I remember my father saying, 'If this falls on top of us, we all die,'" he said. "It was scary, and I never saw that again in my life." As little Herman shook from fright, his mother took him to her bedroom to calm him down. She told him to look at a picture of Our Lady of Fatima that she had hanging in her room. Now we know Auroras were spotted in Mexico and even Puerto Rico. “It should take an X20 or more [solar flare] to see an aurora borealis in the Caribbean.” Everyone today saying, “Move along, nothing to see here. Ho him, big deal, I slept through it,” frankly doesn’t have a clue as to the true nature and actual magnitude of last night’s global solar storm.
We had a totally clear night on Friday here in Minnesota, and I live way out in the country, but I could not see it. People from surrounding towns could, but not here. I too a photo with my phone, and I could faintly see green and purple, but not without my phone.
Some scientists believe in an electromagnetic universe. That the stars are nodes along a path of current through the universe. When this current changes so does the behavior of stars such as our sun. Supposedly the stars and planets around us are getting brighter, along with our sun becoming more active. I have heard that before the three days of darkness there will be large amounts of lightning, which could be a part of this phenomena, IDK. Also if the current were to stop, the light from the sun would stop. I am not saying I believe in this model, or trying to explain away the prophecies regarding the three days of darkness with this model. I just find it intriguing how such things could happen according to this model.
Interesting, I was reading the news that NASA plans to send a space probe called Ramses to study the asteroid Apophis. Ramses was the Egyptian pharaoh who witnessed the plague of darkness over his people, and Apophis is the Egyptian god of darkness. It’s almost impossible not to think of the prophecy about three days of darkness possibly related to the passage of an asteroid.
