Thank you John for all the work you do to keep the forum running. I used to work on computers back in the day but technology has now moved far ahead of me. I have trouble using my mobile.
I will contribute to the forum upkeep when a secure link is posted for donations.
    Regards and Happy New year

I don't think there's much doubt in that occurring in the not so distant future, and not just Catholic sites, but it'll all be going down at some point :(

I am a bit more optimistic, i think sites will just become more private for established believers as things progress but at the same time i think we must be vocal and not give in to the demand to keep to ourselves. Doing that would be going along with what they want. We cant hide ourselves away. Social media I think is the new public square whether we want it or not.

Ireland is in line for a chastisement also. We are the only country on earth where the populace actually voted for abortion, for to kill their babies. Sickening indeed!

It's the first time I've thought of your assistance as an apostolate; but it helps to keep us all connected!:D Thanks and God bless!

Not sure about anyone else in Ireland, but as an Irish Catholic I have been receiving the strangest and most hostile looks off people the past couple of months. The people giving me the looks are complete strangers and couldn't know my religious identity, but perhaps there is something happening on a spiritual level. There definitely seems to have been a further sifting in recent times, with many now returning to the faith. Gemma O'Doherty refers to it as a "Great Awakening" in this country which she has noticed has gathered momentum since November/ December.

Wow Mario maybe I have found my vocation somewhere to fit in looks like our sister is as always guiding the way after all she did not know where she fitted either

Oh, Jesus, my love...my vocation, I finally found my vocation, it is LOVE. -St. Therese of Lisieux.

I have three books concerning our sister, but the one I happen to go back to most frequently is Maurice and Therese. In that book you witness a growing relationship between the two. It wasn't until shortly before her death that the future priest realized she was soon to die.

Saint Therese, cover us in a shower of your roses!

The transfer to the new server cost about (as far as I remember) £240 or $313 but this pays for the forum for two years. If it were possible I would love to drop John something for all his hard work over the course of a week.

If the Spirit moves you you can make a donation through Pay Pal to a little Pay Pal Donate Button which John will be putting up.

But only if you feel like it. I am sure God will love you just as much if you do or don't as will I and everyone else on the forum.

Totally don't feel under any obligation.:):)

So strange . The forum does not seem to have been harmed by the down time; in fact it has been helped. It is working a lot quicker and the viewing figures have gone through the roof. Sometimes I think we have to loose something in order to find it.

Or as St Paul reminds us in Romans; for those who love God all things work together unto the good.
