It always was based on lies:

This single issue will become the litmus test of Pope Leo’s pontificate.

If he corrects these blatant lies and abuses then we have a papa.

    If not….?

If not then we have an idiot, which I don't think we have, another antipope or another name on Epstein's list.

Pope Francis wasn't afraid to make a big mess and now Pope Leo has to clean it all up. Allegedly he is trying to guard Pope Francis' legacy while at the same time correcting a bunch of stuff. Which wouldn't just be for the sake of Pope Francis but also the continuity of Popes, which is good for the church. But the more dirty laundry that comes out the less Pope Leo XIV can do. I suspect the leaked documents regarding the TLM ban are just the beginning.

Yes, the release of this authentic analysis of Bishops' feedback is an eyeopener. The war on Tradition is such a travesty. Lord have Mercy!

Give our Holy Father the fortitude to right this wrong and to clean house regarding those who composed the blueprint for Traditionis Custodes.

The church has survived antipopes before and she can do it again. If Francis was an antipope, Pope Leo would do well to distance himself from everything and anything Francis did. It would mean a major cleanup and I am sure there would be more backlash behind closed doors in the Vatican than with laypeople. Continuity in this case would create more damage. There can be no continuity with heresy.

Well it is a very great blessing from God that the truth came out in this great matter. I don't know what makes people think that hiding lies and dishonesty somehow protects the Church and the Pope. It does nothing of the kind. Truth is a Great Disinfectant.

God Bless Diane Montagne for releasing this and I hope she does not get any blow back or persecution.

God bless whatever Cardinal , Bishop or priest fed or this and I hope he does not end up preaching to the Polar bears in Alaska.

It's Pope Leo's move now when he gets back from holidays. We'll see.

I don't think the problem with the Latin Mass was actually the Liturgy itself for extremists like Papa Frankie and others. The problem with attending the old Mass is that it tended to inocculate or vacinate people from heresy.

So if I went to my old Trad Church in Ireland and asked folks there if I believed in Women Priests for instance I could probably guess that 100% would be against this. Whereas if I went to my local Parish Church I would guess a percentage would indeed support women priests, of married priests or homosexuality or not believe in the Real Presence and so.

You tend simply not to get heresy among Trads, there is a low toleration of it. So of course people like Papa Frankie and his ilk would be very hostile to the Old Mass. It is death to them. Like cats and dogs.

I totally agree that there can be no continuity with heresy. At the same time, mitigating the amount of damage caused by Pope Francis and reversing course is no small task if he is trying to do it cordially. That is, if that is what he is trying to do. Very true about the anti-popes.

That being said, if I had my way, I would just rip everything off like a band aid. I personally don't think Pope Leo XIV is moving fast enough, if at all really.

    Matthew 5:29-30

29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
