You know as far as this psuedo , 'War' is concerned over , the Ancient and 1960's mass (started with deliberate intent by our present Satanic Holy Father) is concerned I have a few words. (..and yes he is Satanic..no doubt about it, ..what ever else he is, he is Satanic..straight from Hell) As far as the Ancient Rite of the Old Mass is concerned I grew up with it. After Vatican Council 2 we had in in our very large front room since childhood every Sunday and had the chance to meet some very , very holy Latin Rite priests indeed, one of whom I have no doubt was a saint, Father Wilders. I have down the years met several clerics of the 1960's Rite who were also saints. Cardinal Basil Hume , for instance, whose cause for Canonisation is going forward in Rome. Also for instance the former Dominican Archbishop of Iran who was superbly holy and whose Cause is, I suspect also going forward (I haven't checked). For the Ancient and the '60's Rite we can use for judgement the Words of Jesus, 'By their Fruits you shall know them' Both Rites have brought forth saints.. Having said this I must say that the '60s Rite needs considerable reform in that the good intent of the Council Fathers was not carried out. This really. really needs to be revisited. However this , 'Them' , and 'Us' stuff instituted by the present Satanic Holy Father needs to be put to bed. There are saints on both sides of the equation. A wonderful example of such abundant fruits of holiness in the 1960's Rite is Fr Mark Goring. Listen to this homily and tell me you are not already in heaven as you listen. I can almost hear the wings of the Holy Spirit. A young priest in the post Modern Charismatic Catholic '60's Tradition.
I would also say that I hope Pope Francis is not buried in Rome when he dies. That would be a profanation of the Holy places of Rome. I hope some future Pope has his body buried in unconsecrated ground in some very secret, hidden place were no one can ever find it.. (Unless, distant , distant hope , he shows some sign of conversion before death). I think buying a plot of little land in his native Argentina deep in a forest and having him dumped there might do. But where ever he is buried I expect all kinds of weird, spectral goings on in the immediate vicinity. The further away his remains are kept from mortal man the better.
What are the criteria for declaring an anti-pope? I’m reading Roberto do Mattei‘a book Love for the Papacy and Filial Resistance to the Pope. There are good grounds for another Correction from the Cardinals. Is an anti-pope one who teaches heresy or is simply wrongly elected? An anti-Pope won’t be buried in the papal tombs. I remember having a sense of foreboding when I first saw him standing on the loggia. I believe others felt the same. It pains me to think this way about a pope.
He's pretty well dying anyway. I wouldn't worry too much about the guy, he's on the way out. God will take care of Him.
Yes. But I wouldn't go holding my breath at this stage. They don't go much darker. Millions of souls, including many saints prayed for him, fasted and did penance, throughout his time here, for his soul, including many saints. All water of a very bad duck's back. Reminds me of Judas, who although in the personal presence of Jesus and Mary for three years kept right on thieving. It's as though some babies were just born for hell. But mustn't Judge , must we? Mustn't be too Rigid. Anyway as Bishop Barron informed us Hell is probably empty anyway. So nothing to get too worked up about. I don't believe I have encountered a soul in my life with so many sure signs of Eternal Perdition writ so large on his person in my life...and believe me I have met some really, really bad ones in my time on this Earth. I fully expect, after his death, to see his name mentioned again and again, in future Exorcisms.
Sincere prayers for a soul never go to waste, for God looks at the merciful intent of our hearts. But Christ is also perfect Justice and Mercy; the ultimate destiny of each of us lies in His righteous Judgment. 2 Tim 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
I couldn't disagree more with Bishop Barron about Hell. Of course there are a great many people there. But though you may be absolutely right about Pope Francis, I will not condemn him to Hell while he's still alive with access to God's mercy. I guess I don't understand the point of going on and on about how evil and doomed he is. If we truly are the remnant here, deeply Catholic and trying to be saints, we should be the sign of contradiction: we love our enemies, even the traitorous ones, and take no delight in their misfortune. And we don't speak badly of our Holy Father, only pointing out his error if necessary to prevent others from going astray. At least, that's what the saints seem to have done!
I think that we are sent many graces and chances to repent in this life. Sometimes a person rejects those graces. Non Serviam
https://theliturgy.org/ Look at this! An awesome 3-part documentary on TLM and Vatican II is coming out starting on August 15! I'm excited to show this to my family.
I listed to Vigano’s speech and want to listen to it again. Supposedly Taylor Marshal “cleaned up” some of the audio since the original was difficult to hear. I suppose it’s because the mic was so far away from Vigano and with his Italian accent made listening to words difficult. Having Said that - The words left out from this quote I BELIEVE were “...in the strictest sense of the word(s)”. When he said that, my interpretation was not that Vigano said the Pope wasn’t Catholic (as in Roman Catholic) but that he wasn’t Catholic as in Universal (shepherding all the flock) But as I said, I really want to re-listen to the talk.
I like your post and your call to Christian unity and I agree with it. I just wanted to clarify that no-one here denies the validity of the Novus Ordo Mass, as far as I can see.
I think we have to step down really, really hard on the Pope Francis thing at the moment. Really, really, really hard. The harm he has done to the Church is truly incalcuable. . Really hard , really hard. If he were merely a bad Pope we could shrug it of. ## But this has been truly. truly the most horrendous Pontificate on an epic scale. I repeat again the worst ever. Mind blowingly awful. I can't even find the words to describe it. 'Catastrophic.'? 'Apocalyptic' ? 'Total wipe out?' Words fail me. I have no desire whatsoever to be nice about the man, or to mince words. He is a total ,total horror picture of a Pope.
This is a outrage! How must God be viewing this? A beautiful, valid sacrifice of the holy mass being denied for NO GOOD REASON other than as a punitively action against traditional Catholics! Woe to these clerics who cancel GOD!
