MC- I think having patience (your have patience of a saint!) with your mom as she nags you about sensitive issues, helping your kids with love and prayers in your heart all the while trying to cope with your own financial strains is what God wants from you! All you need is love- do do do do do You are showing God's love everyday. Offer that up! What a gift you give to your family every day. I'm glad you can fast. Sounds good for you. If you stop looking at fasting as a day long thing and just focus on the moment of what you can offer up might take the pressure off and allow you more success. That way, you can never "blow it" in the morning. You can fast at lunch or snack time or dinner, etc. Endless opportunities to fast if you don't look at it as a day long ordeal thats ended if you eat toast in morn. I think you are such a blessing in God's eyes. You do so much for others each day. love is all you need (am I ever going to get that song out of my head! LOL)
Thanks Potatosack. Opportunities are doing the same thing for me right now...something that seems good pops up out of the blue and then they seem to disappear back into the blue again. Patience...something I do not feel have enough of these days, is much needed right now. On more than one front in mine and my families' lives. Lots of frustration looming in the air...
