I agree wholeheartedly, Don. War would be the worst possible outcome in Venezuela. This is my concern with the US backing a coup when Maduro is strongly supported by Russia and China. I see the people that have been devastated by US military involvement in other countries, like Iraq and Syria. Gee, we were just trying to liberate poor people from their evil dictators. The people we know from mid East countries do not like US involvement there. Our government only creates greater suffering than that which already existed when wars result from our involvement. We're duped if we think that our government are always the good guys just trying to liberate the poor people from their evil leader.

These times are times predicted by my mother. The majority are seeking an understanding but the radicals make a lot of noise and have even shocked us with the things they are capable of. It is said that there are 15 districts of the 335 districts in Venezuela that are manifesting violently, but the news only covers those who are loud." I believe that Maria's daughter is speaking of her mother's intercession from Heaven to help Venezuela. Ratcheting up the tension levels one notch at a time. I hope that Maduro cares enough about his nation and the people not to drag them into a war but I would be surprised if he did. I know that China has supposedly taken a neutral stance in this issue but over the last two years I have seen so many pictures of Venezuelan police and military armed with brand new Chinese gear and armored vehicles that it is very hard to take this seriously. Maybe now that the report has exonerated Trump they will see that he is very likely to be re elected and reconsider their strategy in VZ. They also could be partners in helping to put pressure on Maduro as well.

Sam provided links (thanks Sam) but, because I don't know how to turn text into links, I didn't recognise them as links. In my opinion, the date of the prophecy is important and would be more credible as a prophecy if it pre-dated the rise to prominence of Hugo Chavez. (I must stress here that I'm terribly ignorant about Venezuela). I think dates matter because some people can make accurate predictions based on astute observation or assessment of current affairs, but that wouldn't make them prophets irrespective of how holy they are or appear to be. Without the inclination or time to trawl through numerous articles about Chavez, I'm using Wikipedia as a source. Chavez was a military officer. He founded the Bolivarian Movement in the early 1980's. He was imprisoned in 1992 for leading an unsuccessful coup, and was pardoned in 1994. Upon release from prison, he founded another political party and was elected President of Venezuela in 1998. Donning my sceptic's hat, I'm not 100% convinced that Maria's was a prophecy rather than a prediction or educated guess based on what she saw happening in Venezuela at that time. A new friend of mine sent me that link to the prayer group on Long Island about a week ago and I was too busy to look into it further at the time but I really wanted to do so. Your questions about Maria Esperanza reminded me about it and you prompted me to take a look at it this morning, so I thank you also. I found my research to be very interesting. There are quite a few prayer groups around the world which began because of Maria Esperanza. With the little reading that I have done about her, I suppose I would call myself a believer. The Crux article that I posted above helped convince me a little more. This is from the Crux article, For instance, on a visit to the U.S. in late 2000, she not only predicted that George W. Bush would win the presidential election - which, by itself could be a 50/50 guess - but also that final result would not be known for some time. According to page 159 of the book, Esperanza said, “The short one will win, and it will not be an easy matter, and many days will pass before the results are known.” One skeptical American in her presence when this was said (a few people were gathered in her hotel room) said to himself, “She must be wrong on this one. In the United States, we always know the winner by the next morning at the latest. She must be thinking about the Latin American experience where elections are drawn out over weeks and months.” But nobody anticipated the Florida “hanging chad” scenario with this U.S. election being the first one decided by the Supreme Court in favor of Bush on December 12, 2000. A number of years previously, she predicted in 1991, that on December 8 of that year, a great event would take place in Betania. Father Otty Ossa Aristizabal, the chaplain of the Betania sanctuary while celebrating Mass, said a communion host he consecrated started to ooze a red like substance. I wanted to post this because of the recent press release by Bolton regarding US policy of foreign troops in VZ. Russia brought a small number of military forces in recently but there have been mercenaries flown in to VZ as well to protect Maduro from back around the time of the election in 2018. I very much get it. The reason Russia has historically occupied the countries next to them is because they have been invaded often in the past by the West and they use these countries as a buffer. The fact that we stuff these countries full of troops and military bases doesn't help the situation at all.

Russia is not communist. The last thing you want to do to a people who have a societal paranoia about being invaded is put troops on their border. It gives Putin a casus belli to attack.

Russia's government is currently a federal semi-presidential republic that leans heavily towards autocracy. The state promotes religion and private industry, the two main bugaboos of communism.
