The real problem with impurity is, the first thing it leads to is spiritual blindness. This is why there are so many blind guides - there are very few pure souls! Pure souls find sins of the flesh repugnant. Pure souls hate contraception, co-habitation and sodomy. Pure souls hate impure acts because they are ugly and vile contrary to the purity of heaven. Only those consecrated to our Lady can survive in these times of demonic impurity.
Early in the morning of January 21, 1610, the Archangels St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael appeared to Mother Mariana. Then Our Lady appeared to her and predicted many things about our own times: this is part of what Mother Mariana afterwards related that she told her: “…. I make it known to you that from the end of the 19th century and shortly after the middle of the 20th century…. the passions will erupt and there will be a total corruption of customs (morals)…. “They will focus principally on the children in order to sustain this general corruption. Woe to the children of these times! It will be difficult to receive the Sacrament of Baptism, and also that of Confirmation… “As for the Sacrament of Matrimony… it will be attacked and deeply profaned… The Catholic spirit will rapidly decay; the precious light of the Faith will gradually be extinguished… Added to this will be the effects of secular education, which will be one reason for the dearth of priestly and religious vocations. “The Sacrament of Holy Orders will be ridiculed, oppressed, and despised… The Devil will try to persecute the ministers of the Lord in every possible way; he will labor with cruel and subtle astuteness to deviate them from the spirit of their vocation and will corrupt many of them. These depraved priests, who will scandalize the Christian people, will make the hatred of bad Catholics and the enemies of the Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church fall upon all priests… “Further, in these unhappy times, there will be unbridled luxury, which will ensnare the rest into sin and conquer innumerable frivolous souls, who will be lost. Innocence will almost no longer be found in children, nor modesty in women. In this supreme moment of need of the Church, the one who should speak will fall silent.” In a subsequent apparition, Our Lady told Mother Mariana that these apparitions were not to become generally known until the twentieth century. “The faithful souls would suffer a continuous and slow martyrdom, weeping in secret and imploring that such dire times be shortened.” “There will be almost no virgin souls in the world.”
There must be no demons left in hell. No other time in History is like unto this one. As for me -- fire from heaven is almost preferable to these demonic times. The only good is that our Lady had been granted greater powers and has raised and army of white martyrs and her heel will strike and destroy that ancient serpent, the enemy of man.
Yes. The Consecration is our armour and we must renew it every day in our prayers or we will not survive. She alone can protect us from this flood of filth. Sin blinds our ability to see truth. And when we willingly embrace lies rather than truth because our flesh does not want to be restricted then we can fall into utter darkness. "Oh Mary our Mother to thee do we come/ in all our affliction your heart is our home..."
If you have not read Mother Mariana's books (Our Lady of Good Success and Stories and Miracles of Our Lady of Good Success), I would suggest you do so as these prophecies are for our times. A prophecy of future hope: "...Our Lady has also predicted a great victory, not only for Ecuador, but for he whole world. At the very moment when "the evil will appear triumphant and when the authority abuses my power," this would "mark the arrival of my hour, when I, in a marvelous way will dethrone the proud and accursed satan, trampling him under my feet and fettering him in the infernal abyss." May the Kingdom of God come to reign soon on the earth! Fiat!
