I like the blog of Veronica's Veil and in a recent article she writes about The 7 Sorrows of the Modern Church. This conference in the Vatican is one of the sorrows on the Way of the Cross. I am going to include this sorrow in today's Rosary.

Here's a response from Michael Lofton at Reason & Theology. Lofton comes across as having an annoying, overbearing personality and he seems to have an obsession with showing Taylor Marshall to be in error. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding him, but I get the impression that he gives a simplistic interpretation of what Marshall and Archbishop Vigano say whereas he often twists himself inside out, over-using reliance on what seems to be his favourite word "nuance", when defending the current dreadful papacy. Nevertheless, it helps to hear different points of view when forming our own opinions. I think he is right about La Salette and that it was unwise of Archbishop Vigano to refer to it.

 

I agree about LaSalette. Vigano seems to believe in the much later edition of Melanie's secret, that she majorly embellished after becoming obsessed with popular antichrist theories at the time. It certainly raised my eyebrow when I read that.

 

You know what...the more I see in this forum of “The Usual Suspects” casting aspirations upon Vigano, Living In The Divine Will, and against any and all versions of what is not in their narrow and predetermined personal belief of how things “should be”, the more inclined I am to believe that what they’re attacking...is #Truth

 

That part of the message of La Salette is not approved by the Church but I have seen it used often in the last few years.

 

Yes, some accounts say that Melanie changed her version of what Our Lady told her after she was befriended by some Protestants. Her recollection certainly changed later in life whereas Maxim, her fellow visionary, never deviated from his original account of what Our Lady told them.

I do think, however, that Michael Lofton is jumping to conclusions where Taylor Marshall and Archbishop Vigano are concerned. He has another interview on his channel - this one with Elijah Yasi who seems to be something of an expert on the Catholic view of the Anti-Christ. They talk about how the Church will go through its own passion during the end times, something similar to the passion of Christ. Nobody ever addresses the possibility of the Church hierarchy being similar to the High Priest and Pharisees who preached the true faith but didn't practice it. We know that the Church will not teach or bind the faithful to error but we also know that there will be wolves among the shepherds. I don't believe that Dr. Marshall or Archbishop Vigano are calling Pope Francis either the False Prophet or the AC. Lofton doesn't outright say that they do, but he seems to be trying to give that impression.

Fulton Sheen is speaking of an anti-church within the world; he's not calling the future Catholic church the anti-church. Have you read Sheen's autobiography? He had a very dear love and respect for whomever the pope was, no matter if he agreed with them or not, because of his deep reverence for the seat of Peter. He stressed that many times. And he was there at Vatican II, so he saw much!

I am very unhappy with what is being promulgated at the Vatican right now, and confused and disheartened at times... but I actually think fairly frequently about what Fulton Sheen taught about respecting the pope. It left quite an impression on me. If there is evil in the highest ranks of our Church, God will sort it out. I trust He will!

How can there be an anti-church in the world?

That would jet be another protestant church.

Sheen must be talking about counterfeit Catholicism within the church - we have that already in organisations like the Association of Catholic priests and fake Catholics like Biden getting communion from liberal priests and Bishops. We have priests and Bishops leading people to perdition, like lemmings jumping over the cliff --

It is indeed inside the catholic church. It's called the vatican. In 1939 the Rothscilds loan the vatican money. The beginning of the end. Pope John comes in and calls fot v2. He dies. Pope Paul says thru some small crack satan has entered the church. That crack is the spirit of v2. That is the counterfeit church and one that is supported by PF. JP1 is about to expose it and gets poisoned. JP2 comes in and tries to tie V2 back to tradition and gets shot and gets bad blood in the infusion. They try to run him out of town but he doesn't resign. Benedict ties V2 to tradionalism and they get him to retire. They finally get their man in and presto. The counterfeit church. Coincidentally the Rothschild running the vatican finances suddenly "dies" this year. Rumors swirl of the Vatican's gold being taken. Rumors of other things happening. Lin Wood just dropped a bunch of truth bombs I believe. Yes. Rome has lost its faith and is representing the other team now. We still have the sacraments and holy priests if you look.
