Sorry union workers, illegals will be taking your jobs and driving down wages for American blue collar workers. But the good news is, the Trump Corp will have a lot of really cheap workers to build big, great, fantastic, beautiful trump buildings. Always an upside for the Donald. Also, the next President gets to appoint maybe four Supreme Court judges. Trump won't nominate anyone who won't be useful to him in the future. He also gets advice from his sister. Even he wouldn't have the nerve to nominate his own sister to the Supreme Court but given how pro-abortion she is, it isn't hard to guess what type of people she will recommend to him. Even in the unlikely event that he manages to get elected, the Pro-Life cause could be set back for the lifetime of his Supreme Court nominees.

 

And your candidate is going to do what? cruz /Rubio/bush/ all flip flopped over and over... who now?

I must say I love how you debate....with no malice. You are a very good and dear soul. I can tell that you really want the best outcome for our country. So do I. I guess that we are seeing this trump thing from completely different set of eyes, both sincere. I think our differences reflect our nation and party right now...it's about the same....very undecided. My prayer is that what you said earlier..."Gods will be done". On that we can agree. None of the above. Sorry to disappoint you. I'm suspicious of all politicians while realising it's a horrible job but someone's got to do it. So, I take the more practical view of taking the best of a bad bunch. The most powerful country in the world can affect the poorest people even in the most remote areas. Who you elect matters. There has been a trend lately for American (and European) pressure towards influencing poorer countries to adopt ultra liberal policies if they wish to remain on the West's Christmas card list. That's the reason I'm bothered about your election. It won't affect me directly, but it most likely will affect millions of people outside the US.

Incidentally, I respect your right to hold and express your views. It would be nice to have that courtesy reciprocated.

Candidates say things in every election, but the Donald,struck a nerve world wide.... silly England spent half a day to decide if Trump should be banned from Britan! Really, you dumb ass......! Muslims want to kill your people, your economy is falling, and Trump wants to put a Temporary halt to Muslim imagration and your Parliament has to Muster to Ponder Trumps words.... WOW

Reagan wasn't particularly popular in Europe, other than with NATO leaders, especially Thatcher. Of course, the Eastern European kinda liked him too, and they aren't bashing Trump. Clinton was very popular. There is no equivalent of Fox News here, at least not in Britain or Ireland. Murdoch owns Sky, which leans towards supporting British conservatism, but British conservatism is very secularist....more atheist than anything. There are a few conservative newspapers in Britain but nothing that would support traditional family values except perhaps that the Mail isn't quite as stridently secularist as the rest and all, both print and TV news, can be viciously anti-Catholic. They all love Obama, gloss over Clinton's untrustworthiness, and sneer at the Evangelicals and Tea Partiers. Trump is like a cartoon character to them.

Islamic money is influential over here. Arab royalty mixes with the upper echelons and the moneyed horsey set. Cameron's stated aim is to make London a hub for Islamic banking. Sky (Murdoch's TV news channel) does a nightly preview of the papers where the reviewers are journalist/author/political commentator types, some of whom are particularly odious. They had one on last night (a proud atheist and very much a Labour party supporter) who scoffed at Europeans' fear of so many Muslim immigrants and the higher birth rate among Muslims. He reassured everyone that it would all be ok because so many of those Muslims would become atheists like him and some of his cousins. I think he said that his father was from Pakistan. That will give you an idea of the difference between Sky and Fox, both owned by Murdoch. I think that Fox will become more like Sky when the younger Murdochs take full control.

Social conservative politicians are very thin on the ground in Western Europe but there's no shortage of fiscal conservatives. While the Arab money carries weight with the Conservatives, Muslim votes matter to the Socialists. That's the reason they have all developed a fondness for Islam. And don't think that anti-immigrant parties are social conservatives or pro-Christian. They aren't, at least not in Britain, France or Germany. We can blame our politicians all we like, but Christians brought this problem on themselves by thinking that a culture can survive and thrive with a birthrate of less than two babies per woman. Trouble is that no politicians have the courage to tell people that harsh truth, so we continue on the downward slope. Consider yourselves lucky that your immigrants are South American.

If he isn't already part of the one world order crowd, Trump is very likely to be hoping that getting elected President will be his route to future membership. Weren't the Clintons at his wedding? Isn't his daughter best friends with Chelsea? Show me your company and I'll show you what you are.

Globalisation is too far advanced for Trump to be able to do much about halting the flow of cheap immigrant labour. Powerful though America is, it has to survive in economically globalised world.
