Ok, so according to anti Trump supporters which you profess to be, you can dish insults to those who disagree with you, but when some give you facts about the current politics of the establishment, well....then Trump supporters are "making assumptions, accusations, and insults without cause." Interesting. Ann Coulter is right about you all. You can dish it, but you sure can't take it. Trump supporters are angry at all the trade politics including those of Clinton/Newt's NAFTA policies. Most of us at the time were unaware of how bad it was for America. For the first time in years we have a candidate who is getting major votes and finally taking on the establishment, and some are angry at this? Have you found out yet that the chain letter you got from Bill Bennett was not from him? Read more widely. This is too important. One more time, eminent domain, his nonexistent abortion policy, how will he actually undo our existing trade agreements with China and completely revamp them? The Trump supporters don't use logic, they obfuscate, change the subject, and as seen above, spend more time attacking people trying to engage them in a discussion than actually engaging in intelligent discussion of the issues. They are simply following what they see from Trump. Please engage. Please at least pray about it. We have a wildly dangerous, immoral and unethical man as the Republican frontrunner. This mans record is available for all to see--40 years of liberal policies including outspoken support for abortion, the Clintons, NAFTA, interpreting eminent domain to mean anything that profits him, a wildly torrid personal life. A man who professes to be a Christian, but says he never asked God for forgiveness because he has never done anything that he regrets. Is any candidate other than Trump and Sanders addressing the matter of trade agreements? On a CNBC programme last week someone commented about a US motor manufacturer (I can't remember which one) employing people at $3 per hour in Mexico. How can American workers be expected to compete with that no matter how much they upskill or re-educate themselves? No wonder Trump and Sanders are attracting voters. Trade agreements can be adjusted and re-negotiated. Incidentally, the British steel industry is being destroyed by China dumping steel in Europe at below cost prices. The Brits are saying that the Americans slap huge tariffs on Chinese steel imports. If they can do that for steel, why not for other imports?

 

Well, in order find something funny, one has to grasp the contradiction, the irony. If you laugh without doing that, you are a person who ignores facts. Unfortunately, you have had many chances to engage in the facts. Saying you answered a question when you did not did not work in grade school and it does not work in the real world. Many questions have been asked that you have chosen to answer by not answering. Hopefully the country will see this is the pattern for Donald Trump. Hopefully they will see that this man is lying through his teeth and has not believed or supported a conservative, let alone Christian, position for his entire life. He is an opportunist preying on the weaknesses and frustrations of the working class in this country, like a snake oil salesmen, which is what he actually is. Look up Trump University, Trump Water, Trump Vodka. All snake oil. He is being sued over the money he took from unsuspecting students who tried attending his "University". Several articles have been posted exposing his ever changing positions on very important issues, all depending on how he thinks the wind is blowing at a given moment. Such a person does not deserve to be president of this great country. Please read up, the record goes back to the 1980s in every outlet of the New York area media.

I would say one more time to those who are tuning out of this election because Charlie says there will not be an election, what if his interpretation of his messages are off? What if there is an election and this man becomes president? Charlie, to his infinite credit, has linked articles by Michael Brown to his site, welcoming all to read them. Clearly he has no problem with you knowing priests have noted he was under the impression that President Bush would be killed or would die in office. That didn't happen. Those of us who have believed in Garabandal for decades, and still do, were surprised when Joey died. There are comments on Charlie's site right now from a man who quit his job and filled his home with boxes of food, water and supplies for the storm and is now in a tough spot. Charlie himself says to live in the moment and take the next right step--well, sincere, intelligent Christians who happen to be citizens of the U.S. need to execute their responsibility and see that the best man wins this election. If we don't and the election happens and Trump wins, sincere and intelligent Christians will be very sorry.

 

Dawn, please listen. Lose the bias for a just a moment. You and I are on the same side. We're both Catholics who want what's best for our nation. I have a very interesting past. I know who Cruz's dad is. I also know he supported Castro in '59. I know him cause my grandfather was imprisoned by Castro for 20 years. I realize that people change and some for the better, but some keep making the same mistakes. It's hard to explain to those who haven't gone thru communism what we may be in for. The idea that we have our own establishment dividing the Republican Party where right now unity is of the utmost, is very dangerous and fishy. We have a very prominent leftist communist party in power today, it's in our schools, media and business. Yep, business. We need someone outside the lawyers to cut their feeding tube. Although Trump is not the Reagan classic act, he is freaking out the leftists. And that's a good thing. So, please think about uniting. Because the establishment is no longer working for the people. Trump is all we have. If Cruz Sr back in '59 would have figured that out, my grandfather would have never been imprisoned, tortured and disgraced. Bless you.

I am sorry for your grandfather, Marygar, as well as for the tens of millions of victims of communism worldwide. Cruz's dad does not make it a secret; as a young man he fell for Castro and fought for him. But he is not running for office. And if he never saw the light and ultimately rejected Castro, he would still be in Cuba and he would be privileged, since party members in every communist country are, despite the lie of an equal society. The fact that he left Cuba means he is on the side of the Cuban American community who rightly stands against Castro and all forms of Communism. Still, I don't think I would vote for Raphael Cruz because of the poor judgment he showed and because of the tragic consequences in the lives of innocent Cubans. But Raphael is not running and Ted Cruz is. Ted Cruz is not perfect and no one is. But, the most important thing in a President, who will have the toughest job on the face of this earth, who will deal with problems affecting the lives of millions around the world on a daily basis, has to be trustworthy. He has to have principles he can stick to, even if only generally compared to the other choices. He has to have character, morals, stability, in order to make those decisions how we need him to. Trump has none of these qualities and Cruz has a good deal of them. The alternative is Hilary. We have to get behind Cruz.

This thread has almost entirely focused on the Republican candidates. I realize and am struggling myself with the right candidate and fully recognize that the "system" of government in US is so broken that I really doubt even the most honorable of POTUS would be non-impactful. Mhaving said all this, I come to my point of this comment : Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Read below what she said and tell me if it does not reek of evilness. It's down right frightening and horrific. And it strikes me if the "web we weave". Even Clinton acknowledges personhood in the womb yet says it can be snuffed out. I wonder where Mrs. Clinton draws the line if any where?

Please before you feel the need to resort to either of these candidates, trump or Hillary....please pray that God shows us mercy and there is yet a path to a Cruz victory in this nomination process. It's not over yet.
