I just thank God no one has gone after a dead person. I was really afraid. I picture people in the back of a funeral Mass spreading dirt because of jealously.

This is a public figure whose character is a major factor when one is running for the highest office in the land.

It is not gossip ....it is a matter of record as Trump himself has not only admitted these issues....he bragged about them.

The reason it is of importance in the vetting of a candidate is to demonstrate a number of character qualities or lack there of.
It is not to "gossip".... It is of great importance.

Bill clintons character was called in question before he was elected and he was elected in spite of it.

Then because of his deeply flawed personality, he had relations with a White House intern that when exposed put our nation in extreme chaos...a vote of impeachment and also exposed Clinton to possible blackmail putting our nation at risk by foreign powers! Current technology has the ability to hack even high ranking government officials....as Hillary s elmail scandal testifies to.( it's suspected that foreign governments have hacked her)

Clintons sexual exploits also translated to the world the need to have to explain to young teenagers a whole discussion as to why he was impeached. Issues and conversations that exposed our children to that should not have been.

Another poster noted that trump was being "judged"...I responded that no....that's for God. But as citizens, we absolutely need to judge behavior when picking a president. This is a serious character flaw. It is not gossip.

If this had been taken as seriously when Clinton was being elected, our nation might not have had to deal with a sexual scandal that exposed our world, our nation and our youth to his sick, sexual affairs.

    We don't need that again.

Trump admitted himself that his sexual past was fair game....as he has already used bill clintons sexual past to hit Hillary.

I was watching PBS with my liberal family last Friday evening. An older political commentator brings up, he is offended at the vulgarity and subject matter in Republican debates.

Wait a minute, politics and government are to come higher when on social issues, anything you believe to be as true, liberals have no problem, profess it.

P.S. Richard I love you but I didn't vote for Trump. I arrived at the Caucus at 12:50 p.m. Saturday afternoon and I didn't vote until 3:13 p.m. Walking out, there was still a huge line out the door of this huge high school.

honestly, the three candidates for GOP don't tickle my fancy at all....but Trump is really getting on my nerves with his nastiness.....I wouldn't be friends with someone like him. Why would I vote him in for president? He is quite a repulsive human being.

It is rather ironic watching the establishment complain about Trump's "vulgarity." I guess they never heard any of JFK's vulgarity or Nixon's vulgarity. Trump hasn't said anything close to what some of our Presidents have been recorded saying. Not even close.

When they were hitting Trump with the unjust KKK attack, it occured to me that the same Republican establishment hacks that were calling Trump a racist and a Nazi, had nothing to say to Victoria Nuland and John McCain and the rest of the Neocons that provided support to REAL neo-Nazis during the violent Ukrainian Maidan or to warmongers like Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio who are so adamant about arming Islamic extremist "rebels" in Syria.

In fact, I am coming to realize that everything the establishment accuses Trump of being and doing, the establishment themselves are guilty of. The only other time I can recall this level of demonization is the demonization of Vladimir Putin by Western State Media.

Trump's a teddy bear with a golden heart. He's also a fighter and when he is attacked he will respond accordingly. I'd be more worried about Ted Cruz - you know, the guy that never stops smiling. Never trust a lawyer that never stops smiling.

Trump didn't start with the personal attacks. In fact I clearly remember elements of the "conservative" movement starting the attacks when they started digging up Trump's comments from the 90's and then questioning if he was really a conservative and whether his pro-life conversion was genuine. It was around that time that Trump started going on the offensive.

Another example is the incident with Pope Francis questioning Trump's faith. Trump didn't start that fight, but he ended it. Same with Jeb Bush. I clearly recall Jeb Bush dragging G.W. Bush out of the closet and onto the campaign trail in South Carolina. The minute Jeb did that and used his brother as a crutch, G.W.'s record on Iraq and 9/11 was open to criticism. Trump didn't ask for that fight but he ended it.

I've never seen a candidate in my lifetime hit from so many sides as Donald Trump has been and still remain on top. Trump has the Liberal Media against him, Hollywood against him, the Republican Establishment against him, Debate audiences against him, even the Pope attacks him and yet Trump remains on top because there is one group and one group only that matters: the People. The RNC better be very careful because if they ignore the will of the People in their own party, and try to steal the nomination from Trump at the convention, then I think the Republican Party is finished and the record voter turnout that Trump brought into this primary will dry up and the crossover voters that have been supporting him will refuse to vote for the Republican establishment candidate, and you will be left with 8 years of Democrats controlling all three branches of government. This election is the RNC's to lose.

    Teddy bear Trump:

    Weekly Standard:

Last fall, the Boston Globe analyzed candidates' 2016 presidential campaign announcement speeches using the Flesch-Kincaid readability test, an algorithm that assesses everything from word choice to sentence structure and then spits out a grade-level ranking. If there's any doubt that our politics are getting dumber, it should be noted that George Washington's Farewell Address rates at a graduate-degree level. And the top of this year's pile, among both Republicans and Democrats, was former Virginia governor Jim Gilmore, who apparently talks to us (not that anyone's listening) at an 11th-grade level.
Keeping it much simpler for the common folk (at least for the ones whose houses he's not trying to swipe), Trump, of course, ranked dead last. His announcement speech, says the Globe, "could have been comprehended by a fourth-grader. Yes, a fourth-grader." Though no analysis was done of Trump's tweets, I'd be shocked if a first-grader couldn't get the gist.

I spent an hour or so printing out pages of tweets, after conducting searches of Trump's Twitter feed using many of his favorite insult-buzzwords, and here's what I found:

    "Moron"—3½ pages

    "Lightweight"—4½ pages

    "Loser"—4 pages

    "Dummy"—6 pages

"Dope"—3 pages (Though Harry Hurt, "who wrote a failed book about me" (Lost Tycoon), made two lists simultaneously as a "dummy dope.")

I grew bored and quit before finishing a search for "poo-poo head."

Nobody in politics, journalism, or celebrity-world who criticizes Trump escapes his Twitter wrath. Why, even my own boss Bill Kristol, in Trump's tweets, is "a sad case, his magazine is failing badly." My colleague Steve Hayes (who ranks a whole page and a half of Trump heckling unto himself) is a "failed writer and pundit .  .  . with no success and little talent."

Even though it's no longer a status symbol to get insulted by Trump, since he pretty much insults everybody, it's enough to make a guy feel left out. So I went to one of the numerous online Trump-insult generators, and was assigned my own: "This idiot Matt Labash has failed miserably. We're not dealing with Albert Einstein. SO SAD."

I've voted Republican in every Presidential election since I was 18. If they unfairly steal from Trump. I stay home as will my wife. If Cruz wins the electoral college outright and fair, I will vote for him. I've voted for McCain, I've voted for Dole. I will be grossed out voting for Cruz, but I will. Stolen? I won't vote. Richard67 thank you for your insight. I think it's brilliant. You didn't do copy-paste, but did real research. Copy-paste reminds me of a first grader.

I think this whole online debate is proof that we are in a huge storm. I really believe that our country as it was founded died with JF Kennedy. His brother was taken out, assassination attempts were made on Ford and Reagan. Nixon resigned . . .over a missing ten minutes on tapes? Really? We have had a one party system who puts up puppets to create a diversion for the people. Our system is corrupt because that's how the NWO can function. It gives us a false sense of power. How many of you have voted for the person who was going to stop abortion and as soon as they get to Washington they are taken into a back room and their tune changes? Or they go for compromise? It's futile, you are wasting your time. Why does our current Pres. Go on vacation all the time? Golf all the time, have parties at the W.H.? Because he is just a puppet. Watching the debates is like the gladiators in Rome, or the wide world of wrestling . . It is about entertainment and ratings and who can get the biggest sound bite. The only way to change a Godless society is to pray, pray, pray. Pray for your enemies! Pray for your country, love your enemy and your neighbor. Jesus already gave us the guidelines, don't get caught up in this trap. Set a good example for your children. God will fix this if we have Faith.

I agree with much of what you said Katfall...

The system is broke...but I want to teach my kids to fight the good fight...and it's not always pretty.....and it's not for everybody.

You Can act and speak . . .march for life, volunteer at a crisis pregnancy center, teach catechism, go to Mass, etc. etc. but don't spew hate. That only festers the wounds and causes evil to expand. Exactly what Satan finds delightful.
