Ted Cruz? No thanks! Ted Cruz stole votes in Iowa and used scare tactics against Iowans with his "voter violation" card. The RNC should have disqualified him right then and there. Ted has also repeatedly lied in campaign ads about Trump (and Rubio's) positions on a number of issues. So, not only is Ted a cheater and a liar, he is also a double-talker and flip-flopper. Case in point: Goldman Sachs, one of the most anti-American, pro-Abortion companies in the world. Earlier this year Ted Cruz said of Goldman Sachs: “Like many other players on Wall Street and big business, they seek out and get special favors from government.” Yet in 2012, Cruz used a loan that his wife took out from Goldman Sachs to help to finance his successful Senate campaign, during which he honed his reputation as a critic of bank bailouts and corporate cronyism. The Goldman loan, which was for between two hundred and fifty thousand and half a million dollars, wasn’t disclosed to the FEC, as it should have been. Rather than publicly acknowledging its existence, Cruz subsequently told reporters that he and his wife had liquidated practically all of their personal savings to help pay for the campaign. Talk about a double-talker.

Oh, it makes a big difference, especially on life issues. Anyone saying that voting for Hillary is the same as voting for Trump is lying will be directly complicit in Hillary's pro-abortion agenda.

Rush Limbaugh cautions republicans that TRUMP is not conservative..says that CRUZ is the real deal! Rush says that Trump is acting like a democrat.

    And he tells you why:

Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh criticized GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump for his remarks about fellow candidate Texas Senator
    Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)
and Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia, saying the attacks raised “red flags” and that Trump’s attack on Cruz are “no different than what the Democrat Party would say” on Monday.

Rush said, after playing a clip of Trump calling Cruz a “maniac” in the Senate, “even people who are not particularly aligned with Cruz on the right have gotta be curious about this because this is no different than what the media would say about Ted Cruz. This is no different than what the Democrat Party would say. I mean, this is what the Republican establishment would say, for crying out loud.”

He continued, “He’s essentially put on his
    Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)
hat here, saying, ‘I’m Donald McCain, and I’m the guy that can cross the aisle and work with the other side. Ted Cruz can’t.’ I was kind of surprised by that.” He also stated, “for somebody running for the Republican nomination, who has set himself up as anti-establishment, to join the establishment in that kind of criticism of Cruz, I don’t get it. It doesn’t make a lot of sense.”

Rush also said, “I don’t know what kind of damage if any this gonna do to Trump because, frankly, folks, if you look at Trump’s support base, the majority of it is not conservative. In fact, if you look at the Trump support base. And I’ve maintained this for I don’t know how long. It seems that the — if you look at the demographic makeup of Trump’s support, it’s exactly what the Republican Party claims they want. There’s a lot of independents in there, there are a lot of different ethnic groups in there, but it’s it is not majority conservative or Republican base. There’s a sizable number of them in there.” And “Trump’s not trying to portray himself as a conservative, either. … so, it’s not a violation of that. But he’s clearly making himself out to be anti-establishment, and yet he joins them here. And then he dumped on Cruz for being opposed to ethanol? In other words, we as Republicans must support government subsidies to corn farmers in Iowa if we’re to have any chance of winning Iowa? We’ve gotta stand for subsidies? And that, again, is not a conservative position. To go after Cruz on that basis, is again the way the Democrats and the media would go after him.”

He further addressed Trump’s criticism of Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia, saying that Trump mischaracterized “arguments that had been submitted to the court that he was engaging in oral argument over” as “Scalia’s statements.”

Rush concluded, “But these are two things that, if you’re [a] conservative voter [in the] Republican primary, these two things have gotta raise some red flags for you people, I would think.”

The neo-cons, banking elite and special influence will with 99% certainty put Hillary in the White House.

This election is smoke and mirrors, a show of sorts so people think they control what happens. Votes don't matter. Hillary isn't even a liberal she flip flops to whatever stance will get her into power. At least trump can't be bought and that is about the only good thing about him.

I'm calling it right now, Hillary, it not what the people want but those in power.

Trump: "Planned Parenthood ‘does do wonderful things"

No, Trump....most of what they do is murder little, innocent babies and then sell their baby parts. They are evil!

If you think there is anything good about this murdetous gang, then you are not fit to be president!

You are not ProLife....and neither is Hillary!

Voting for you, especially when we have real ProLife choices, could result in more baby killing!

Planned Parenthood doesn't do anything good that a lot of other organizations don't already do, and half of the innocuous things they SAY they do, they don't really do (such as mammograms). Serial killers probably often help people at their day job too. Praising PP in any way just enables them....they're basically there to provide contraception, which leads to women's health problems and unrestrained immorality, and abortion.

Mr. Trump....this is what Planned Parenthood does......, no....they do not do wonderful things...YOU ARE A LIAR!

If this is too hard to look at, then it is too bad to fund! It's easy to talk about this when your talking concepts...it's superficial.

This is real....real babies are being murdered! What the heck don't you get?

Beth, why do you keep misrepresenting what Trump actually said. Why don't you ever mention that Trump's official policy on Planned Parenthood is to defund it if it continues to do abortions. The fact is that Hillary is an unrepentant, hardcore pro-deather. For you to try and link Trump and Hillary on abortion is rather shameful and a dirty tactic I have come to expect from the Cruz/Rubio campaign.

Many of those who convert to the pro-life position once believed that Planned Parenthood was a wonderful organization doing good things for "women's health." If you didn't know the truth about abortion then you would also find it easy to take this position. Mr. Trump is a recent convert from the pro-abortion point of view. He is not 100% pro-life since he allows for exceptions (Cruz and Rubio also allow for an exception). But Trump has moved in the right direction. He has stated, as a matter of the public record, that he will defund Planned Parenthood if they continue to do abortions. He also feels that Planned Parenthood does good non-abortion related things. I've known other converts to the pro-life cause that also held onto the view that PP does "other" good things, and although I disagreed with them I would have never thought to question their newly-found pro-life views. Instead of undermining and disavowing them, I worked with them and slowly brought them to the fullness of truth. Certain elements of the pro-life community have made a serious, fundamental mistake in disavowing Trump and attempting to undermine his pro-life credentials. And it might just end up costing us the election.

There is simply no reason to take Trump at his word that he has converted to a pro-life position, any more than I believed Romney. When there are authentically pro-life candidates who have walked the talk for many years as far as pro-life issues, the debate is already ended to me. I'll take a pro-lifer over a pro-abortionist automatically, and I'll take someone who has DEMONSTRATED their pro-life principles over time automatically over someone who just recently claimed to have a change of heart. Is this really what we're willing to accept from the GOP now - candidates who have no pro-life record but we are just supposed to hope that they're legit?

  12. Richard67

    Richard67 Powers

There is every reason to take Trump seriously. With his money, he could have run on any ticket and with any position he wanted. Given his former pro-choice background, it would have been much easier for him to run on a pro-choice ticket. He has made many enemies by running on a pro-life ticket, promising to defund Planned Parenthood if they continue to perform abortions, and promising to nominate a Supreme Court justice in the mold of Clarence Thomas. If Trump loses, the pro-choice community is not going to forget his public positions in this election.

Trump is actually the most honest candidate in this election. He says what he thinks and does not calculate the political cost: this is true whether he is speaking of Immigration, Muslims, or Planned Parenthood. Unlike Cruz and Rubio and Romney (who is scheduled to give a speech at 11:30am bashing Trump), Trump does not weight the political correctness of his statements. He says what he thinks and puts America First. This is why he has created a wave of record voter turnout and is why, barring the RNC playing dirty at the convention, Trump will be the nominee and will defeat Hillary.

Look richard...if you're too blind to not see it by now, there is no hope for you. There is a reason why planned parenthood has called TRUMP their favorite republican candidate...it is because they know that he will NOT defund them! I don't care what Trump said...he lies and flips on issues daily! PLANNED PARENTHOOD is murdering babies...! Trump thinks they do great things...get it? If you don't, I'm sorry for you. It's on your conscience!

YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH because you want to vote for trump...and to face the truth demands that you CANT vote for him. You are only lying to yourself.

No - the GOP field was much more wide open and there is much more anger to channel on the GOP side. He could see that his chances were much better there. Plus, there are many who think that he's friends with the Clinton's and he is simply there to hand the election to Hillary. Whether that's the case or not, Hillary will win the election if Trump is the candidate (barring some strange occurrence like a terrorist attack or Hillary's indictment right before the election)

Beth, you are making this up as you go and are too blind to even accurately report on Trump's positions. Planned Parenthood never seriously said that Trump is their favorite Republican. Here is what they actually said, Beth, and if you weren't blinded by your hatred of Trump you would have reported on it accurately:

Planned Parenthood itself was likewise not impressed by Trump's contention that he’d be good for women, saying in a statement that he had “built his presidential campaign on racism, misogyny and xenophobia.”

“Trump would ban abortion, and eliminate women's ability to have birth control covered by health insurance,” said Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. “A Trump presidency would be a disaster for women." https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/t...od-again-slams-so-called-conservatives-who-di

    TRUMP HEARTS FOR PLANNED PARENTHOOD

Trump’s support of Planned Parenthood is incompatible with his claim to have seen the pro-life light. As LifeSiteNews observes:

Some pro-life voters are wondering how long Donald Trump can continue to praise the nation’s largest abortion business and continue getting away with the claim that he opposes abortion or would sign a bill defunding Planned Parenthood. Tonight — unprompted by an interview or attack from a fellow Republican presidential candidate or from someone on the pro-abortion side, Trump praised the nation’s biggest abortion conglomerate….

Someone like Sen. Ted Cruz, perhaps, someone who doesn’t believe that abortion and selling baby parts are “health care,” someone who will order his Justice Department to investigate the arguably criminal activities of Planned Parenthood? Ted Cruz gets no love letters from the group. One wonders how Trump would attack Hillary Clinton, who received the group’s Margaret Sanger Award, for her pro-abortion stance, both supporting the “good works” of Planned Parenthood..

Planned Parenthood has tried to discredit the undercover videos exposing its baby body part business by saying they were carefully edited and that the admissions of Planned Parenthood officials of conducting a for-profit baby body part flea market were taken out of context. It is hard to imagine in what “context” the discussion of the price of a fetal head versus the price of a new Lamborghini is okay. As LifeNews comments:

Planned parenthood federal funds supports this baby killing machine.

Donald Trump Is Planned Parenthood’s Favorite Republican

    BETSY WOODRUFF

The GOP front-runner said in an interview Tuesday that he supported the status quo when it comes to Planned Parenthood. The group couldn’t be more pleased.

Planned Parenthood gained an unlikely new booster on Tuesday morning: Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

The billionaire told Chris Cuomo on CNN’s New Day that he opposes federal funding going to Planned Parenthood to pay for abortions, but that he’s OK with tax dollars going to the group to pay for other services that it provides.

If standing up for the unborn babies against someone who supports a candidate who would fund an organization like planned parenthood, is viewed as hostile...than I'm guilty.

This is why babies are still being killed....it's too unpleasant to discuss this sort of thing....it's not polite to tell it like it is....it's not comfortable for everyone to have to watch, see or read.

No, you're absolutely right....slaughtering babies is not polite....it is a HOSTILE act. If shutting down debate on this is too much, then this is exactly why babies continue to be killed.

No one wants to see the cold, hard reality of how heinous and hostile this crime against humanity is.

That is why babies continue to die.

If we had to look at aborted babies on TV like we do abused animals, abortion would be history...but, it's too much for our sensitivities.

It's just easier and more comfortable to shut it down.

I've seen some hostile debate about the pope....did that get shut down? Maybe it did and I'm unaware of it.

Again, if being passionate about ending the killing of babies ...or debate about candidates that would or would not support this killing not to your liking, then please don't look.

If a catholic cannot stand up with TRUTH to defend life, then dear God, how do you call yourselves Catholic.

With this mentality, it is no wonder babies are still dying.

We had a bishop that said he was not comfortable with this sort of passion about abortion....he said, " let's just pray about it". Well, I bet that if they were stringing all the bishops up in the town square and hanging them, the bishops would ask us to do more than "just pray for them"

I'd bet that they would say...FIGHT for their lives! I guess it just doesn't matter as much if you are not the one being killed...is it?
