He's not rising. He's stuck at 35% and hasn't risen from that ceiling for a long time. The only reason he's winning is because the 2/3 of sane Republican voters are splitting the vote.

Yes, the writing is on the wall. Bush saw that writing and had the good sense to drop out. What amazes me is that Cruz has the nerve to continue his campaign after the cheating (and coverup) scandal in Iowa. The RNC should have given Cruz the boot right then and there. I think this race will now come down to Trump and Rubio, which might just become the eventual Republican ticket.

If the GOP is stupid enough to wage war on Trump and force a brokered convention, I think Trump will run as an Independent and will be fully justified to do so. Of course, this will mean the Democrats will win. So, the question for the GOP Establishment becomes: do you hate Donald Trump and those who support him so much that you would risk handing the election to Hillary?

 

This CNN roundtable...no mention of Rubio, only Trump... we need to look closer at his business deals they say... Says corrupt ex-Mayor Nutter of Philadelphia... yawnnn

 

Not the same, but just as horrible. I don't trust a single position that Trump takes. He was buddies with the Clinton's very recently. His only position is self-promotion, and God help us when he starts hurling insults, like he does with everyone else, at other world leaders if he were President.

We're doomed! Trump lovers don't want to see the obvious I'm afraid....at least until it's too late. They love what they think he will do...not what he will actually do. Regret is an understatement for how they will be feeling...

Yes, Beth, I'm afraid that the unborn babies will suffer. Trump was interviewed today on Meet the Press. He was very ambiguous in his response to the question about defunding Planned Parenthood. All he said was that he wouldn't give them federal funding for abortions, yet they already say that all their federal funding is for their other services and is accounted for. He praised their other services, including providing mammograms but I read elsewhere that they don't provide mammograms. I think he is trying to be all things to all people.

 

Thank you for sharing that...I haven't watched TV as of yesterday...I couldn't bring myself to watch trumps obnoxious behavior. So , I was unaware of his comments. I'm not surprised at all...it's exactly what we though he would do. Last week he tried to give the impression that he wouldn't fund then because he needed to firm up support from any doubting the funding issue. Obviously , he feels confident after his win yesterday, that he can go back on his promise already. Wow...it didn't take long, did it??

And you are right...planned parenthood gets half a billion dollars a year in federal title X funding. Technically they say they are not using it for abortions, but it's just a shell game....we are going to continue to fund killing babies under trump. We are going to give half a billion dollars to an evil organization that is slicing and diceing little babies...and selling their parts...and to think people are cheering this man unto victory...

The Planned Parenthood question is at about 2:55. Listening to it again, I think that I might have misrepresented what he said. At the beginning of his response to the question he gives the impression that he would continue funding for non-abortion related services but he finishes by saying that he would defund as long as they were doing abortions. A decent interviewer would have pinned him down, but this interviewer was too interested in repeating the Democrats' mantra about PP to even bother trying to get a straight answer.
