In their view, Catholicism is just like any other social club. The beliefs of the members can be changed with the proper pressure. Given that Biden insists publicly that he's a Catholic, then anyone who says otherwise is a hater, or isn't a REAL Catholic. We've got groups promoting things opposed to Catholic doctrine who are shouting that they are faithful Catholics (and the media proclaims them as such) and who are pushing for those who preach truth to be silenced and censured.

So all those new immigrants will fall in line as soon as they realize on which side their tortilla is buttered.

The hope I do hold out is that they've NOT been slowly and systematically conditioned to agree with Globalist thought, for coming from poorer countries and thinking their priests might still be "old fashioned" too.

The area (in the US) where I reside is a backwater and 10 years behind the times. That's the basis of my hope.

But of course I could be wrong.

I know, it's hate speech. She thought about discussing it with management, but given the environment in her workplace she decided against it. They have a super liberal, anti conservative agenda. She is actively looking for another position.

Well, I suppose we can put the pieces together on what the "vetting" entailed when the NG was being brought into DC.

    Absolutely, brother!

Speaking of which, we need to have a talk about the cenacles our Lord has built since you gave me some very wise advice a few years ago

By the way, has anyone ever seen comments claiming that Hitler and some of the Nazis were “devout Catholics?” I have seen a couple of comments online claiming that the Nazis were “devout Catholics” and/or influenced by Catholic and Christian thought. (Granted, to be fair, Luther did write a couple of works that said some really not nice things about the Jews.)

I have seen some comments regarding that but mostly from pretty extremist circles that are historical revisionists and anti catholic and Christian haters in general. There were a lot of Catholics and Lutherans who had little choice in the matter of participating in the military effort of Hitlers vision for a 1000 year Reich. I think many hoped that it would result in a revival of the Holy Roman Empire and a restoration of the nobility in greater Europe.
That said, the Nazi leadership were influenced not by Christianity which Hitler obviously manipulated but by Theosophy with an Aryan bent. So much so that at Nuremberg they deliberately avoided exposing much of these beliefs for concern that they were so bazaar they believed many people would simply not believe it. There was little need to expose their occultism with the evidence of the atrocities they had carried out.

I see, so we aren’t there, yet. I am fairly aware of many of the anti-Christian ideologies behind Nazism; I’m actually of the opinion that World War II was really a power struggle to determine which Western ideologies would dominate now that Christian Civilization had been put into her current dormant state with World War I, and the dethroning of Blessed Charles of Austria.

I’ve actually had a few more thoughts about that subject today and how relates to the state of things now.

With the German push for modernism in the Church these days it could well end up being a crack that causes schism and another major decline in the Christian world as we know it. Time will tell, I hope that over time the German prelates and laity will come to their senses and remain in unity with the Church.
The rise of Gnosticism and occultism is growing in secular society, being tolerated by governments and embraced by corporate elements who are cashing in on it any way they can. It is a gradual return to polytheism it seems.

I agree with your opinion on WWII's underlying motivations. The end result sealed the deal so to speak on the old world. The Church was not a fan of democracy but it had very little choice after the end of the war especially with the threat of communism looming large over Europe. There really was no other choice.
