Agnes, please accept my apologies. I can only get my information from the blogs I read. I find so many otherwise great, purportedly highly moral American people, supporting and justifying what is happening in Gaza. These are people whom I thought shared my mindset. Many claim to be Catholic. I am heartwarmed to hear that many, perhaps most, Americans do not agree with Zionism. But, how are we to know? Europe is dismissed by many purportedly conservative Americans as an economic basket-case (again, we only read of the Americans who dismiss us as such), yet we don't seem to be suffering the same deprivations...yet. I was criticising the American Empire, and I think I made the distinction between that and the ordinary citizenry in several posts recently. That Empire is under the authority of the soi-disant Biden Administration, whoever that might really mean. It is unfortunate that so many conservative bloggers (I wouldn't go near left or liberal ones) are so supportive of the Zionists.
