Just a thought, but perhaps Patrick will be with Conchita on the day of the Miracle in Garabandal and be healed with all the others there. We can only pray.
The cancer has spread from his colon to his bladder. Please be vigilant in your prayers for Patrick, thank you !
I have included Patrick in my daily prayers. I had the good fortune to get on a boat today to see Dolphins, no dolphins but I had a chance to pray and had some kind of peaceful experience with God, it was nice in a Divine way, don't often get it when I pray. Anyway i'll keep praying for Patrick.

Thanks for the photo Glenn, I havent seen a picture of Conchita since her famous interview in the 1980's. She still looks beautiful.I asked my 7 yrold daughter what she thought of the man on the side. She said'He looks like a king'. lol, funny child.
Its usually not easy to get her to pose for a picture ,that's why there are so few recent ones of them. Hmmm, "King Glenn" ,kinda has a nice ring to it, lol. Your daughter is obviously very wise . After the holy hour we went back to her house and talked about how she & Patrick view death , and I wish I could have recorded the conversation. When you're on the spiritual level they are, it's an eye opener . She talked about how peaceful and ready he is, that he feel he has completed God's work here and he is ready to go home. As a last act of submission and faith ,he has offered up his life for God to do whatever HE wants with it, and honestly I believe Conchita and Patrick are happy with either decision. That amazed me. I never heard or saw two people so ready to get this life over with and start the "eternal one". It should make everyone happy to know ,even after over 20 years of friendship, she still feels the need to give me little "talks" about my "personality", and reminded me to keep working on my issues with humility ,lol. She's my constant reminder of how much more I have to work on being more "Christ-like", and Heaven is alittle farther away from my grasp then I think, lol.
I hope if I get to bear a Cross like Patrick's I can smile so well and bear it so wonderfully. More prayers....going up.
You are so right Padraig. Something about her just glows there. Not to diminish the attractive couple standing on either side of her but Conchita just has a LOOK about her. Glenn looks like a little kid giggling inside thinking, 'my shoulder is touching a Saint'. Glenn's face is glowing also but that is from the vino. Just when it could be easy to doubt the Garabandal apparitions, you look at that glowing holy face and think...'Look at that face. It just HAS to be true.'
Jimmy, every time I see her, I go away learning something, and wishing I could be more like her. Funny you should mention 'saint". Last night ,she brought out her "relic collection" which almost defies description its so large and rare. I have never seen or heard of a relic of the Blessed Mother, but she had a piece of cloth that was supposed to be from her tunic that she released as she was being assumed into Heaven. Sorry to disappoint you brother ,but no drinking in her presence anymore. We were at the wedding of one of Joey's sons, a few years ago, and I was headed to get a drink and asked her what she wanted and she said that Jesus had asked her for a mortification by giving up all forms of alcohol (man I hope he never asks me that ,lol. ). So I don't drink if I'm with her, a very small price to pay her company.
That is so interesting hearing about the Blessed Mother's tunic relic. C'mon Glenn. You know Jesus would never ask an Italian to give up drinking all forms of Vino. That would be cruel and unusual punishment for us.
Well having close friends like Conchita and Joey would make it hard to be humble Not sure I have ever been a close friend to a living saint, let alone, two of them!!
There was a funny / semi-serious conversation about my how God can use even a person like me ( even with my obvious faults ) to promote the message of Garabandal and the messages of our Blessed Mother. ( even though it is not the way she would ) . So I tried to defend myself by quoting the book of Mark " "Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed? " Conchita immediately comes back with a quote from St. Francis " Preach the gospel at all times,and if necessary use words". Its hard to argue with her,I hate it when she's right,lol.
