even the non-ISIS immigrants do not seem like the immigrants of previous generations...which is what the msm and obama is trying to sell us. Who comes over to a new country and expects an apartment with a lot of stuff around it and fast internet...all for free??? I mean I am sure most want to work, but there are busloads of them dropped off in towns that have a place to house them. What are they supposed to do to pass their time? I am not sure what they were expecting when they came over to europe. what a pickle europe has gotten itself into. The US to a lesser degree too.
Sorry, I can't jump on the general racist/hate vibe of this thread. Of course, filter out those that are even a faint risk but helping people really in need is one of the strongest messages of Christ. Fear lacks trust in God does it not? No one here can control what their leaders do, the policies that make and righteous or dumb ass desicions they make. 99.99% of people here won't die of a terrorist attack by muslims. Honestly, what are you afraid of? Dying? Is this what this is all about? This fear? Help me understand, seriously. We are all dying already. Is God's will not the goal of our lives? Is surrendering to this Will the ultimate show of trust no matter what situation we are placed in? Is God not in control? Certainly rambling on a message board about muslims isn't going to change anything that is happening is it? Sure it can be fun to talk about world events, I enjoy it too but unless you are out there protesting the government refugee policies you are so against you really are just recycling fear and hate in my admittedly biased view. Where's the fruit, scaring people into being afraid? I refuse to be scared or worried. At least not until I can't control it or truely feel threatened. Muslim refugees isn't even on the fear radar for me. Most are families needing help. Like in every walk of life, some are sh!theads too. There is a great power stoking fear, and it's not from God and it is coming from much higher up the food chain than ISIS. If I was afraid of dying in a terrorist attack now, how could I possible deal with things when they REALLY go for a crapper? It won't be Justin Treadeau or Obama or NATO or any world leader I will put my safety and trust in that is 100% sure. MMM...you may call it hate/racist... I call it a sense of self preservation...not only for myself but also for my children . Its OK if you desire to accept the status quo as being the Will of God. I on the other hand have seen the gruesome horror of unrestrained evil and I know in my heart of hearts that evil must be met and challenged. Love deserves this and Justice demands it. I respect your opinion of not wanting to "dirty your hands" in the face of evil but I will humbly ask that you pray for the men and women who will lose their lives because of it.

In the first place I don't know any and have only met a few in passing in the course of my life. Certainly in the city were I live there are only a handful of them. I would think that anyone who hated someone on account of their religion or race could not count themselves as a Christian. I wonder if maybe you are not confusing a kind of Political / Liberal Correctness with Christianity?
I certainly don't hate Muslims and have known more than a few .... Comrades in Gulf War I ... including one of my students in the C-130 "School House" from the UAE. I hear what you are saying MMM. The Divine Will is in charge and we are called to see all as part of His Love and Mercy which it is! Therefore all things are part of Our Lords Divine Will. I often pray the Divine Mercy prayer to the Eternal Father as it seems to answer so many of my questions. Eternal Father in Whom mercy is endless and the treasury of Commpassion inexhaustible; Look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we may not despair nor become despondent but with great confidence submit ourselves to Thy Holy Will which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen. I believe, I look at a lot of what is happening in the world through a childs eye, which may not be a very good thing,? I don' know. When I was a child, between the age of 5 and 12 years, my beautiful devout Nana was always reading me stories of saints and miracles and also the latest magazines about Lourdes miracles, also marvelous stories of Gods Love and supernatural interventions into the world and I remember questioning Nan. I remember saying... Why isn't everyone Catholic and why don't all people believe? as there is so much proof? Nan said somehing like.... it is because of the devil, who makes people confused. I then said.... well, we will just have to tell them about some of these wonderful proofs of God! And to a large extent that is how I still feel Today! I suppose it's very childlike Maybe I'll get a rude awakening some day! However, I hope I can say Fiat! Gods will be done.
I heard a minister in my friends church ask them all when they started believing in Jesus . . .and I thought, I always have what an odd question. What a blessing to be raised Catholic.
