Wow. I missed this post from Padraig. Wonderful analogy for sure.
Life itself has a great way of bursting our balloons , Terry, of keeping our eyes to the ground, to the dust from which we came.
Old boxers keep getting hammered.
But then again old boxers never get proud. Not ever.
I thought about you today Sanctus and Joan. I haven’t visited this thread for awhile. It makes me grateful for the MOG forum. Prayers for both you and Joan today... I hope you both experience peace today knowing that you are forgiven and you are being prayed for by so many here. May our Holy Mother keep you both safe and at peace under Her Heavenly Mantle.
Ohhhh, most definitely +++
Thank you Garabandal.
Thanks Beth. They are certainly helping!
Great to hear from you Mark.
Thanks AED. I’ve been lurking... well I’ve been watching all the threads, reading and praying a lot. So much to think about. Trying to keep my house in order. I’ve decided it’s time to pray for all here on MOG more than I have been. There’s so much stress in the world on top of our own individual battles. I’m truly grateful to have this entire forum in my arsenal along with my rosary and frequent/consistent reception of the sacraments. I’m using lent as an excuse to harp on my loved ones to pray, fast and get back to all of the sacraments too. I don’t think many of them see the bigger picture that MOG has helped open my eyes to. The least I can do is pray for all here on our forum more with what I’ve been given through all of your help. I just hope I can help my loved ones open their eyes too.
Thankyou for your prayers Mark. MOG is a great gift from Our Lady. I think we are all praying and striving for our loved ones to wake up so you are not alone in that. I love how everyone here prays for the members of the forum. It's so powerful and so comforting.
While we're on this subject, can everyone please add my parents to their prayers? I can't go into details just yet, but I'm working on a huge project for the Feast of the Annunciation that I hope will steer them in the right direction.
RW, you are so funny
I will pray for your parents.
Mark, good to hear from you and know you are okay. Thanks for the prayers. Returning the favor.
Of course I am!
Thanks everyone. I'm in to the final term of my college course and hoping I can stick with it and not drop out. Have had difficulty sticking with courses in the past due to health reasons, hopefully this time will be different. Would really like to complete it.
Praying this morning. For Joan too.
Hang in there Sanctus. I'll offer a decade for you today.
Praying for you Sanctus.
Thank you Dolours.
