I know that Kushner lobbied for Arch-Neocon warmonger Elliot Abrams to join the Trump team back in February. That's when i started thinking Kushner was no good. Thankfully, Trump overruled Kushner on that one, but it is now becoming clear that America-First Bannon has been sidelined and Kushner elevated when it comes to Foreign Policy. Why Trump has taken this sudden shift on Foreign Policy is anyone's guess. Maybe Trump has sold out to the Neocons. Or maybe they threatened the one thing that Trump truly values: his family. Something is certainly wrong and the more I watch Trump I get the feeling that he has become a prisoner in his own White House. As for why Kushner and the Neocons have hijacked Trump's America Foreign Policy that should be clear: the Neocons put Israel's national security ahead of the national security interests of the United States. For example, for all of Netanyahu's talk about "Islamic extremism" he has never bombed ISIS as far as I am aware, yet he has plenty of time to bomb the Catholic-protecting Assad. So, the logical question then becomes, why does Israel want Assad out of the way? The answer is no big secret. It's called the Yinon Plan:

"The term Yinon Plan refers to an article published in February 1982 in the Hebrew journal Kivunim ("Directions") entitled 'A Strategy for Israel in the 1980s'. Kivunim was a quarterly periodical dedicated to the study of Judaism and Zionism which appeared between 1978 and 1987, and was published by the World Zionist Organization's department of Information in Jerusalem. The article was penned by Oded Yinon, a former senior official with the Israeli Foreign Ministry and journalist for the Jerusalem Post. It is cited as an early example of characterizing political projects in the Middle East in terms of a logic of sectarian divisions.

Yinon argues that the world was witnessing a new epoch in history without precedent, which required both the development of a fresh perspective and an operational strategy to implement it. The rationalist and humanist foundations of Western civilization were in a state of collapse. The West was disintegrating before the combined onslaught of the Soviet Union and the Third World, a phenomenon he believed was accompanied by an upsurge in anti-Semitism, all of which meant that Israel would become the last safe haven for Jews to seek refuge in. The Muslim Arab world circling Israel had been arbitrarily spliced up into 19 ethnically heterogeneous states by imperial powers, France and Great Britain, and was just a 'temporary house of cards put together by foreigners', composed of mutually hostile ethnic minorities and majorities, that, once disintegrated into, in Ahmad's interpretation, feudal tribal fiefdoms, would no longer challenge Israel. Centrifugal factors would give rise to a dynamic of fragmentation that, while highly perilous, would offer Israel opportunities it had failed to exploit in 1967.

He then proceeds to analyze the weaknesses of Arab countries, by citing what he perceives to be flaws in their national and social structures, concluding that Israel should aim to bring about the fragmentation of the Arab world into a mosaic of ethnic and confessional groupings. 'Every kind of inter-Arab confrontation,' he argued, would prove to be advantageous to Israel in the short term. He saw contemporary events in Lebanon as a foreshadowing of future developments overall throughout the Arab world. The upheavals would create a precedent for guiding Israeli short-term and long-term strategies. Specifically, he asserted that the immediate aim of policy should be the dissolution of the military capabilities of Arab states east of Israel, while the primary long-term goal should work towards the formation of unique areas defined in terms of ethnonational and religious identities.

Israel Shahak in the foreword to his translation interpreted the plan as both a fantasy and a faithful reflection of the strategy being developed by Ariel Sharon and Rafael Eitan, and drew parallels with both the geopolitical ideas that flourished in Germany from 1890 to 1933, later adopted by Hitler and applied to Eastern Europe, and modern American neoconservative thinking, which influenced Yinon, to gather from the sources cited in his notes. Linda S. Heard, writing for CounterPunch in 2006, reviewed recent policies under George W. Bush such as the war on terror, and events in the Middle East from the Iran-Iraq war to the Invasion of Iraq in 2003, and concluded:

There is one thing that we do know. Oded Yinon's 1982 "Zionist Plan for the Middle East" is in large part taking shape. Is this pure coincidence? Was Yinon a gifted psychic? Perhaps! Alternatively, we in the West are victims of a long-held agenda not of our making and without doubt not in our interests.
The Canadian economist Michel Chossudovsky on his website Global Research reproduced Shahak's translation in April 2013, arguing that it threw light for the concept of a Greater Israel in the policies of the Likud-led government coalition led by Binjamin Netanyahu and circles within the Israeli military and intelligence establishment.

In other words, the Neocons have hijacked Trump's budding Presidency just as they hijacked Bush II's Presidency. If the Neocons are using the same playbook they followed under Bush, then we should expect a 9/11-style event to be next on the agenda. Unfortunately for these Freemason Neocons, 2017 is going to be Our Lady's year, not theirs, and I am sad to say it but I feel that if the United States launches an unprovoked attack on Syria or North Korea, God is going to finally be forced to allow Chastisement to fall not only on the United States but also on Israel. Of course, the disloyal Israel-First, evangelical crowd in America thinks God is going to protect Israel and the Freemason establishment at all costs. Unfortunately, most of them never seemed to have actually read the Bibles they are always thumping for if they did they would read that God has no problem chastising his chosen people.

It's also about gas pipelines wanting to be built through Israel over to Europe. And that would cut off Russia completely. This is why antagonizing Assad to finally agree to the passage of these pipelines is so important to the U.S. I think Trump weighed the domestic problems here in the U.S., and decided to pick a side. And it wasn't the side of Russia. The powers of be will win either way, so they think. If they don't get their pipeline, a war with Russia would spike oil prices and the money would flow again. We really must pray hard. I just can't imagine Russia taking this calmly without a fight. As for Israel, they definitely want the lands that once belonged to them in the Old Testament. They won't give up until they get them. My worry is if they do, will they oust the Church from holding on to their properties in Jerusalem? I have always heard Israelis want to turn our Churches into museums. That would be a shame and so antichrist. But we don't know if that will ever happen. Or maybe all of this is God's plan. I mean is the world not preparing for the antichrist?

The spirit of the Antichrist is ever present and has been so since the first days of the Church. The only thing keeping the final, endtime Antichrist from appearing is the Restrainer. Once the Restrainer is lifted, the Antichrist will come without delay.

I remember reading that the Israelis launched strikes against Assad early in the war at a time when ISIS were slaughtering "infidels". And, for all their talk about liberating Palestine, these Islamic extremists, amply equipped with weapons provided by NATO's allies, only ever launch attacks against regimes not aligned with NATO. According to one British news report, it takes only a few weeks for ISIS to get their hands on weapons sourced in the US. That chemical weapons attack may well have been carried out by Assad. He's certainly capable of it if that's what it would take for him to beat the insurgents. At the same time, if NATO intelligence is the source of the information blaming him, weren't US intelligence satisfied a few years ago that Assad had got rid of his chemical arsenal? Were they wrong then and right now, or were they right then and wrong now? According to the US, Iran is the biggest supporter of terrorists throughout the world. I can't reconcile that with the fact that the Iranians are shi-ite Muslims while the most notorious terrorist groups are Sunni Muslims who appear to be doing the bidding of Saudi and Qatar. I know that the Israelis consider Iran to be their greatest threat and they aren't averse to working with the Saudis when it suits them.

There does appear to be some kind of plan for the Middle East where everybody is expendable except the Israelis. I suppose that as long as the Muslims in the region are fighting each other and repressing minorities, Israel won't be their main focus but that won't work indefinitely. I know that replacing Russian oil with Saudi oil in Europe is a priority, hence the leeway given to Turkey, but I'm sure there are other interests at stake. For example, the French sell planes to the Qataris and the Gulf States are the biggest customers of arms manufactured in NATO countries. To give Merkel her due, she has put a ban on arms sales to Saudi.

Anyway, I suppose that being privy to more information as President, Trump was bound to soften his stance on some issues. I don't believe that he will launch any pre-emptive strike on N. Korea without China's nod of approval because by doing so he would be risking a war with China and would likely alienate the South Koreans. He would also be putting at risk the many US personnel stationed in South Korea. Nevertheless, something has to be done about N. Korea. The more that danger is put on the long finger, the more the danger grows, and it will have to be confronted eventually.

It's very worrying to see Kushner being called a moderate by the spin doctors on CNN and NBC and certainly doesn't augur well for the remainder of this presidency. Looks like we're back to the same old, same old with AIPAC directing US foreign policy. I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump appoint a liberal judge to the Supreme Court should there be another vacancy during his term of office. Planned Parenthood International (along with some UN spokespersons) have been the most outspoken critics of his decision to defund abortions in developing countries. Time will tell whether they will find a way around that decision. Some well placed Republicans are pro-life in name only and, with abortion being a sacrament to all the Democrats, the threat remains that that death toll of babies in their mothers' wombs will be far higher than the sum total of victims of all the world's conflicts.

Ah well, at least he couldn't possibly be worse than Clinton or Obama but we do well to remember that God will have the last word.

George Soros Backed Jared Kushner Venture Cadre With $250 Million (http://jewishbusinessnews.com/2017/...cked-jared-kushner-venture-cadre-250-million/)

It turns out that George Soros is the money behind a new real estate venture called Cadre which was founded by Donald Trump’s son in law Jared Kushner and his brother Joshua Kushner.

The Real Deal has uncovered the fact that George Soros was the man who provided Cadre with a $259 million line of credit. A source told the publication, “Soros has had a long and productive relationship with the Kushner family.”

The financing was provided; even though, Soros has called President Trump a “would-be dictator.”

Cadre is an online marketplace that connects investors and operators of real estate. The company states that it enables investors to sell their interest on the secondary marketplace, thereby introducing liquidity into an antiquated industry. Cadre was founded by Ryan Williams, and Josh and Jared Kushner, and was launched in 2014.

While George Soros has provided the venture with credit, the company has so far raised $68.3 million in 2 rounds from 8 different investors, including $50 million in a series B closed just last month.

So why exactly would George Soros agree to help a new venture from Jared Kushner who is now serving as an advisor in the Donald Trump White House? After all, Soros and Trump really seem to hate one another. Well its like the famous line from “The Godfather”: Its just business, nothing personal.

Besides, George Soros offered credit to Jared Kushner and his brother Joshua Kushner and not Donald Trump.

In other George Soros news, The Irish Times is reporting that the 86 year old is now in an all out war with Hungary’s leader Viktor Orban over the latter’s attempts to limit immigration and safe haven for refugees in his country. Ironically, Orban once benefited from a scholarship provided by the Soros Foundation. George Soros was born in Hungary.

As a Holocaust survivor, Soros is especially sensitive to the plight of refugees around the world, something which can hardly be said about Hungary’s current government.

Viktor Orban built a new border fence to keep people out of Hungary just as Donald Trump would like to build a wall along America’s border with Mexico. Orban is, of course, a fan of Donald Trump while George Soros has condemned both men for their immigration policies. Orban has been accused of copying Vladimir Putin by attempting to subvert Hungarian democracy and make himself into a dictator. This is something which Soros fears Donald Trump wishes to do.

For all these reasons, George Soros sees Donald Trump as another Viktor Orban.

Orban has accused George Soros of using the Soros financed NGO Open Society Initiative for Europe to destabilize his regime. Hungarian government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs told The Irish Times, “Soros calls himself Viktor Orban’s opposition, and announces that he is engaged in a campaign with a view to altering the internal political scene in Hungary. This is something that must be duly evaluated in the national security committee.”

If what has happened in Hungary in recent years really is a template for what Donald Trump might try to do in America, then George Soros is certainly ready to fight against this.

Yes, how right you are Dolours that with Clinton we would be in more trouble. I think the anger with these liberals against Trump is not about his present foreign policy decisions, but instead they are mad about his domestic anti socialist policies. They wanted an anti God communist world with Israel in charge of the Middle East under their power. I don't believe Jared is secular or moderate. I hope I'm not wrong about that. I watched Trumps latest video and speech about Passover and Easter. It was really impressive. He is uniting both religions and its people. His speech was so direct and so pro God. Unlike those of Obama's. It gave me hope. If Assad would not have funded Hezbollah and acted more like King Hussein of Jordan, he would have been in a much better position today. This is why Trump took sides. Assad's early protection of Christians was jeopardized because of his support for Hezbollah. If Trump can unite and protect Chritians and Jews, under the same God, we may have a fighting chance for peace. I wish we had a Pope in the Vatican who could work with the current administration. Pope John Paul II could persuade even a snake to turn into a dove. We need a geo political genius in the Vatican. Unfortunately, Pope Francis although holy is just too naive for today's problems. He is the Obama of the Vatican, going everywhere, but ending up nowhere. You can't please everyone. We need to make a decisive path for a stable world. At least Trump has.

I hope, Byron, that you're right about Trump but I have serious doubts, especially where Kushner is concerned - more so in light of the information contained in dfmoforegon's post. Assad's religion was his major crime, the same as Maliki in Iraq. There are no paragons in power in the Middle East but somehow only the Sunni leaders are tolerated.

Wherever you see John McCain or George Soros criticising foreign leaders you may be sure that death and destruction will follow.

I am praying I'm right. The mix of Freemasonry and Zionism is communism. If Kushner is not a true Orthodox Jew, but a Freemason, then we are in major danger. My hope is with Melania. She is a constant reminder to Trump on the evils of communism. And his children including Ivanka were very well educated on the subject by their own mother.

John McCain and Soros are Freemasons. And Trump knows it. How do we take back our nations from these globalists who want world government under communism? Very carefully.

All any of us can do is pray that you're right. Better than Obama or Clinton is a very low standard. Steve's post above is the first I ever heard of the Yinon Plan but it all fits with what has happened and continues to happen in the Middle East. Trump's ditching Chris Christie was the start of Kushner coming out of the shadows. I know that Christie was under pressure because of Bridgegate but he wasn't personally implicated. His real crime was having prosecuted Kushner's father. Perhaps Trump was sickened by the Republicans' failure to back Ryan's health care proposal. Maybe he decided that he would have a better chance of winning over some Democrats if he were to ditch some conservative social issues knowing that the Republicans will be solidly behind him on other issues. He surely appears to have done a U-turn.

Whether it be Freemasonry, Zionism or Communism, there's no doubt that evil has a very strong grip on all the world's powers. At this stage, only God can fix it.

McCain: ‘I Hope’ Trump Succumbs to D.C. Establishment
Hawkish senator cheers neocon shift, says president 'is growing and he is listening'
by Kathryn Blackhurst | Updated 17 Apr 2017 at 9:36 AM

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd that he “hoped” President Donald Trump was being drawn into the so-called “Washington establishment” during an interview Sunday.

Ever since Trump ordered an airstrike in Syria in retaliation for the chemical attack that killed more than 80 Syrian civilians earlier in April, he has received increasing praise from the neoconservative wing of the Republican Party.

“We’ve got to have strategy. And I’ll give them some more time, but so far that strategy is not apparent.”

When Todd pointed to those who say “the Washington establishment sucked [Trump] in” and compromised his conservative populism and “America first” agenda, McCain unequivocally expressed his glee at the prospect.

“I hope so!” McCain said before laughing.

Todd, appearing a bit taken aback, laughed before replying, “Oh, ok!”

Both McCain and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), frequent critics of the president, cheered the action against the Syrian regime and have called for expanded U.S. intervention in the messy Syrian conflict. In a joint statement released April 6, both senators said that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad “must pay a punitive cost for this horrific attack.”

“In addition to other measures, the United States should lead an international coalition to ground Assad’s air force,” the pair of hawkish GOP senators said. “Ultimately, the grounding of Assad’s air force can and should be part of a new comprehensive strategy to end the conflict in Syria … If the President is willing to take the necessary action, he deserves broad bipartisan support, and we will help build it.”

Graham went even further during an appearance April 10 on “Meet the Press,” telling Todd that the U.S. must send “five or six thousand” more troops to Syria.

“I want more American troops, five or six thousand, like we have in Iraq, to help destroy ISIL,” Graham had said. “That means that we’ll accelerate the demise of ISIL.”

Neither McCain nor Graham voted for Trump, and both senators have been notoriously vocal critics of Trump throughout his first few months in office.

“I think that [Trump] is growing and he is listening to some very wise, intelligence people,” McCain said. “But I do believe that we do not have — and I support what he did and I support the bunker-buster bomb — but we’ve got to develop a strategy. There is still not an overall strategy that he can come to Congress and his advisers and say, ‘Ok, this is how we’re going to handle Syria. Here’s how we’re going to handle post-Mosul Iraq.'”

“We’ve got to have strategy. And I’ll give them some more time, but so far that strategy is not apparent,” McCain said. “Because I don’t think he’s absolutely sure what he needs to do.”

Noting that the war crimes in Syria “are horrendous,” McCain insisted that “to just say were only after ISIS, in my view, rather than regime change, is something that we have to rethink.”

The Arizona senator expressed his confidence that the president had assembled “a strong team” on national security, and his belief that Trump is “very appropriately listening to them.”

[IMG]Lindsey Graham: ‘I Want More American Troops’ in SyriaTrump strike sparks war-hawk frenzy, senator calls for 5,000 to 6,000 U.S. troops to topple Assad
Todd noted "not everybody thinks the Washington consensus on foreign policy has worked in the Middle East over the last 25 years," and that this fact provided some of the impetus behind Trump's "America first" platform and his ultimate Election Day victory.

Although McCain admitted that U.S. foreign policy over the past 25 years hasn't worked, he still called for more foreign intervention.

"For eight years we basically did nothing in response to some of the most horrendous war crimes in history. At least [Trump] did something," McCain said. "Now, I hope that there will be a strategy to follow that up. And America is about a moral superiority and our willingness not to fight every fight but at least respond to horrendous acts of inhumanity and war crimes, and also, by the way, Syria will continue to have the spread of al-Qaida if we don't take care of Bashar al-Assad."

Interesting info at the end of this article about two more carriers heading to the Sea of Japan.

    http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/0...-out-us-navy-with-single-electronic-bomb.html

Russia claims it can wipe out US Navy with single 'electronic bomb'

Russia has claimed it can disable the entire US Navy in one fell swoop using powerful electronic signal jamming.

A news report from the country – where the media is essentially controlled by the state – said the technology could render planes, ships and missiles useless.

The newsreader says: “Today, our Russian Electronic Warfare (REW) troops can detect and neutralise any target from a ship’s system and a radar, to a satellite.”

The news report claims a single Russian war plane flew several times around American destroyer the USS Donald Cook in the Black Sea several years ago, disabling its systems and leaving it helpless.

The report also claims they are capable to creating electronic jamming domes over their bases that make them invisible on radar screens.

The propaganda piece even quotes top US General Frank Gorenc as saying: “Russian electronic weapons completely paralyse the functioning of American electronic equipment installed on missiles, aircraft and ships.”

The reporter adds: “You don’t need to have expensive weapons to win – powerful radio-electronic jamming is enough.”

The news comes after Donald Trump dispatched the USS Carl Vinson, powered by nuclear reactors, carrying almost 100 aircraft and accompanied by destroyers, a cruiser, and a submarine to the Korean Peninsula.

And the commander-in-chief is said to be bolstering American deployment in the region by sending the USS Ronald Reagan and the USS Nimitz to the Sea of Japan next week.

Russia, along with China, is said to have sent a spy ship to the area to ward off the task force amid rising tensions in the region.

And Putin urged the US to show “restraint”.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

Elisa, I heard an interview on BBC some while ago and a small team of people who went to Syria and spoke to ordinary people came back saying exactly what this journalist is saying. The person on BBC who was conducting the interview tried to change the questions to make it appear Syrians don't want Assad.

According to the lady that was being interviewed, Syrians do not have a problem with Assad whether the media like it or not.

We are not being told the truth in the media. And our governments should be ashamed of themselves. They don't seem to care a damn about the people of Syria, as long as they get their fingers in the 'oil' pie, that's the real prize.

  19. The "Meddler".....beginning to look like the scenario from that favorite novel of Pope Francis, "Lord of the World".

Obama to pocket $3,000,000 from speech:

BARACK Obama will reportedly pocket a staggering £2.5million (€3million) today for delivering a speech to a sold-out audience in Milan as part of his lucrative post-presidential speaking tour.

The former President, who has already earned hundreds of thousands of dollars for private speeches since leaving the White House, will make his highest-paying appearance yet at the Global Food Innovation Summit today.

President Obama flew into Italy’s business capital yesterday, and according to local media headed straight for the extravagant Park Hyatt hotel, which can cost up to £7,100 (€8,400) a night.

After bringing the city to a standstill with a convoy of 14 cars, a helicopter and a 300-strong police escort, President Obama’s entourage reportedly took over two floors of the hotel.

The former Commander-in-Chief also took a private tour of the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana museum, and the city’s cathedral.

President Obama has enjoyed weeks of holidaying since leaving Washington on January 20, including kite-surging lessons with Richard Branson.

In a move that was highly criticised even by former colleagues, he picked up £310,0000 ($400,000) last week for a speech to Wall Street bankers – which he accepted in September while he was still President.

President Obama will give his speech in Milan at Seeds and Chips, a conference on the impact that technology, innovation and climate change will have on food availability and production worldwide.

After the address, he will take part in a conversation with Sam Kass, the Obamas’ White House chef who also helped run Michelle Obama’s public health campaign.

    ......
This month, he will also reportedly meet with former Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi for private political discussions.

And on May 25, President Obama has planned a get together with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.

  20. Beyond being gross, it's scary:

OBAMA STARTS DEFINING HIS NEW ROLE IN THE AGE OF TRUMP

    ......
Obama advisers say the former president is still navigating his role in international politics, but he is willing to consider requests for support from overseas candidates. Later this month, he'll appear alongside German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who faces elections later this year, for a panel on democracy.

Obama's stop in Germany will coincide with Trump's first visit to Europe as president, likely setting up a stark contrast between the 44th and 45th presidents on the world stage.

The former president is said to be reluctant to get into a tit-for-tat with Trump over every tweet or critique from the White House briefing room. But he has plenty of proxies willing to jump in for him, including on Monday, when three former Obama administration officials said Obama had personally warned Trump against hiring Michael Flynn as national security adviser.
