I pray you are right. I pray the prophecy of the hermit of Loretto is fulfilled. God chooses who He desires to be His instruments. I pray that Trump is a type of King David, a man after God's own heart. At the same time Trump seems to be beholden to zionists of both the Jewish and Christian variety. He has said "Israel must finish the job", that he would deport protesters on student visas. This along with his penchant for women does not give me confidence for any positive change should he become president. He seems like the other side of the same coin.
American politics are so interesting at the moment. My big take from all that is going on at the moment is how much the Western European political Establishments hate and fear Trump. It reminds me how much , no matter who we vote for they all believe in the same things. They all support abortion, sexual immorality, the drive to war with Russia, the Globalist drive in immigration,the Myth of carbon based Global Warming and on and on and on. Really our only hope is in people like Donald Trump who at least gives the appearance of showing a different path. I tend to see him as a hero and a victim rather than a criminal. But I'm probably only in a tiny minority in this. The thing I would worry about most would be the arrogant confidence to push Trump through the Judicial System like this. If they would do this with Trump they'll do this with anyone, including you and me.
Anyway I admit I like Donald Trump. He has the huge advantage of never being boring and constantly making me smile and laugh. I hope one day someone makes a film or series about his life, I'd be glued to the screen.

Trump is an adulterer. He cheated on Ivana with Marla Maples. He was a cohort of Jeffrey Epstein. He has lied about his finances from the moment he went into business. This isn't spooky and weird, these are facts and pointing them out about someone who wants to be the president isn't evil. He has no moral compass. He threw out some crumbs to the pro-lifers and apparently that was enough to him elected again. He is an utter scoundrel. I find it disheartening that people are pitying him for his debauchery. And most on the forum that like him so well are not even U.S. citizens. Then we have the abortion loving Biden with dementia. Our options are bleak. I have to keep reminding myself that life is just a moment in all eternity and not to get too wrapped up in the awful controversies. A lady at work today went raving throughout the building and said a blasphemous phrase. I asked her what was going on and she jubilantly said that Trump was guilty. I showed no emotion and did prayers of reparation later for the disgusting words that came out of her mouth. I shouldn't read this thread. It just upsets me. We live in a time of grace. It is important not to get sucked into the vortex of worldly affairs that will only lead to discouragement. I will try not to read this thread and maybe the forum for a while.
I understand your angst. And perhaps it is a good thing for you not read certain threads on forum if they upset you that much. There have been many threads here that I stay away from because they have done the same to me. But with that said, we are in this world at this exact moment because God willed it for us. There is so much sickness and sin, there are evil politicians on all sides, bad priests, confusing popes, biased media, etc. etc. But here we are and we do our best to discern, to strive for holiness, and to be joyful. Believe me , I’m often failing at this. I’m a weak and insignificant creature compared to God. But, yet mysteriously, I wake up this morning and am graced by the reality that this sinful man means everything to God. I am loved completely yet while still a sinner. This is The Good News (not fake news ). I’m hoping this is not coming across as preaching … it’s meant to encourage. Prayers for you. And encouragement in this prayer of Jesus from John 17. He prayed this not only at that moment for the disciples but for each of us at this moment. It is for them that I pray. Very simple in my opinion. Trump won't save America. Only God can. That is how bad I believe the situation is beyond repair in the natural order.
We don’t have to look to far in the past to find one (I’ll just say does a blue dress ring a bell) I will say I think most powerful rich men have women constantly throwing themselves at them. And I hate to say it but most men and women are weak and not very smart
