You have no idea on how much you just helped me as a person. My conscience is always before me. I can always see fault in me. But because of your words I have something else I need to work on. Jose, Stay with us. I agree with what Mary Child's answer to you. All I can say on this is. We now live in a world who have turned their back on God. Look at our generation. Most have had some sort of understanding on Jesus, even if it was just that He was born on Christmas day and was crucified and rose again on Easter. But our generation have not kept this going, they have lost their faith and have not taught their children. We have become a Godless world. Yet God still loves us and wants us to turn back so we can join Him in Heaven. Otherwise it will be Hell. What is going to turn man back? His Divine Mercy. (The Divine Intervention) This will be our last chance. Then man will understand their 'free will'. If Jesus doesn't come in His Divine Mercy, many more would be lost. I hope that helps.
Right the way throughout scripture there have been divine interventions. Noah, Abraham, Moses, and The Incarnate God..
Great conversation. My thoughts are this; God Himself says that man does not think at all as God thinks. He created Heaven and Earth, and yet we balk at having to obey His commands or face the consequences. He has spent thousands of years warning us of the consequences, and telling us that one day, He would again take back the Earth from Satan's rule. Yes we are free to choose evil, and think that God would never punish us because He is love. But that is not what God Himself says. He says we must STOP doing evil if we want to live. HE decides what is good and evil, not society or the United Nations, or Hollywood . He gets that right being the creator of all things I believe it is the "Care Bear" God mentality of the past 60 years or so that has really led the world away from God. He is not a care-bear, He is all powerful, all omnipotent, the beginning and the end, and yes, as such He is to be feared if we persist in rebelling against Him.
I hear what you are saying Carmel, but we must also be careful that we don't jump on the other side of the fence whereby we actually enjoy the thought of others been punished etc.. Mother Mary cries over the plight of man, even evil ones, as she wants them to come to know love.. This is one of the first things about God that actually caused me to face my fears and remain in front of Him and tell Him all my fears etc, He has asked me to forgive some of the most heinous crimes, whilst my guts were twisting in two at the mere thought of it. But I did it for Him, and it caused me to love Him even more, as I realized that if I who was so full of fault could forgive simply by will, then how much greater is His love.
I don't think anyone can call himself a Christian and enjoy the thought of others being punished and I certainly hope I've not come across that way to you! I've been a victim soul for 15 years, hoping and praying for the conversion of all. But it does not help people to think to themselves "If God would punish anyone, then I don't want anything to do with Him!" Which is what I hear so often today, and hear even from so called Christians. This is where the mindset comes from that its" ok for sins, as long as they not hurting anyone" kind of mentality we see so much of today, even within our own brethren. This helps people to feel comfortable and even justified in their sins on earth, but it won't do them much good facing God as the just Judge, which we know is also going to happen.
lol, sorry laughing at your first line. Of course I don't think that you are. It was a general statement, as I do actually see some enjoy pushing around this theory of chastisement and they speak very little of the love of God. I would be tempted to say to you that I hope you don't think that I have the 'care bear' image of God? I don't, as I stated the existence of Purgatory and Hell, above. I also know that Divine Justice is perfectly honest, etc, and that there has to be an alternative to Heaven as if we all went there, 1) What would be the point of our journey on Earth.. and 2) I wouldn't have far to look to realise that if we all went there as we are, well, it simply wouldn't be Heaven anymore. But, God absolutely never gives up on a soul until he/she has taken their last breath, and once their soul has actually left the body (even then a priest can give the last rites which will help the soul) and they still reject love. Some do, though it is difficult to believe for others, but again, we have only to look around at those who find love and good people boring, and who are actually happy causing the sufferings of others for their own personal gain. This is not a judgement, it is simply seeing things as they are.. Sorry, still smiling at you saying that, I realized after I posted it that you might think that. (Laughing a little bit to be honest) sorry..
So true. And what makes the Gospel "good news" if there is nothing for God to be merciful for? It's hard to tell people the good news and that God will forgive them completely and to the last breath when they don't seem to believe that there is such a thing as sin anymore, and that God loves us so much He doesn't care what we do. If people are told the truth, and have a good healthy fear of God, then we can really wow them with the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

While I don't want to get back to Medjugorje, I did say i couldn't understand, if Our Lady is supposively speaking 'everyday'. Why aren't we told about the Chaplet? Jesus is making it very clear here. We need the gift of discernment! Everyday now before Mass as an offering, I have been asking that I, and all of you be given this gift, so we will know the truth. OK! So I'm asking again, is anyone out there getting locutions and then finding the same things being said to other seers?? This spring I was told by Jesus in a locution that I would not die a physical death. Here is how it came about: I was praying and trying to plan things in case I died for some reason, as I live alone and have pets, own a house etc.. I had been planning on buying a plot at a local Catholic cemetary, and maybe preplan my funeral, since I have no close relations anymore. I was talking this over with Jesus, and He said "you will not die" I said I said, "what do you mean? You know I just want to be somewhat prepared beforehand, but I know I;m young yet.." and He said "you will be here for my Second Coming and you will not experience a physical death." I posted about this a few months ago in the thread "wonder what heaven will be like" and Rosebud thought it a questionable statement. Here is the post "Now what I really wonder about, since it is proclaimed to happen in our lifetime, is the new earth that Jesus talks about after His second coming, and how we will all live very simply and walk with God as we were intended to live on earth. I conclude that we will all go through some sort of purgatory to purify us, but yet we will not have experienced actual death. There is alot of descriptions of this in scripture, how the lion will lie down with the lamb and so forth, but it still makes me wonder...." Anyway, I'm not following MDM nor am I sure that I believe it, but there is a new message that says just what Jesus told me!! Has anyone else been told something like this? Padgraig, anyone? I really sometimes am not sure about what I'm hearing and don't want to be deceived.
I see God intervening so constantly in my during the course of every day that I find it so very easy to believe He intervenes in the lives of others and the entire world. But I think you have to have the eyes of Faith to see this. Every day after Mass I ask Our Lady to accompany me to work and stay with me through the day. I beluieve with all my heart she does. A God who didn't intervene wouldn't be much good. A mother who did not walk with her children thorugh life wouldn't show much love.But God is every where; like a fire. In the tabernacles of our hearts most of all. I would find it so difficult to pray to a far away mother; but she is beside us; right beside us, holding our hands. We only have to whisper.
I haven't had anything like that Carmel. Talk it over with your spiritual director, and try not to worry about it too much. For me, Jesus will walk on Earth is when everyone will live in the Divine Will(but He will be walking through us) , but this will not be the end of the world as we know it.. There will be a time of great peace, before the final battle, is my understanding of some prophecies.. It seems that this is where a lot of prophets differ. I know from your own experience and for your own piece of mind you need to know, talk it over with your priest. I get little 'inspirations' etc and I have dreams. I have told these all to a priest hoping he would tell me to forget about them! But instead he has told me to write every experience down!!! So, I have to do this now, kind of feel very silly doing it, because when I look at me and others He has chosen, we are poles apart. My inspirations aren't for anyone else though. They help me understand things as they are. For me they are spiritual consolations etc. Although I have been standing by people and received words of knowledge for them. These have been 'out of the blue' and don't know that it is going to happen until it does. But again, it is a very private thing. Having said the above, am I a saint, absolutely not... Is this humility talking... Not a chance! Just the truth. I happen to be more like the good thief than St John of The Cross or Padre Pio. I think I receive these as I need them, God is trying to teach me something, He is undoing all the wrong that I have been taught by showing me His love, His mercy etc.. This has all helped me greatly, to the point that I am blown away by His love. I only share a few, that you have seen already. I am loathsome to share the others. But it is not what you are speaking of.. Mine are an understanding of suffering, etc... Although I did dream about Heaven once, that was very interesting, that was with regard to what Heaven was like, as in well... I saw the inner sanctuary.. garden, that had no doors, not everyone found their way in there. This was for those who had climbed a steep mountain of love to get to Heaven. For the truly pure in Heart.. Before I ever realized what was going on, I had visions of myself and Jesus riding on horses together. I was about 10 and He was about 12... this is etched on me like a memory.. Beautiful... I know that God was giving me good memories.. Another time, we were in the kingdom of Heaven, near the gates, and we were playing with a big golden ball, I was about 8 in that vision? Another memory that is etched in my mind. Feels like a proper memory. The above two may seem strange to others, but they make perfect sense to me. Sorry, I couldn't be more helpful.
I don't recieve any locutions. But I would forget about organizing your funeral. As I said above your post. Brother Stanley was told by Jesus, he would see the second coming. Now he is older than you. Jesus also said "Judgement Day is sooner than everyone thinks." HE also said "Choose between Heaven or Hell, no other." Does this make it clearer for you?
I text back and forth to Brother Stanley and he has 4th stage lung cancer right now and has to pay $2500 per session for chemo in the U.S. He has to have 6 sessions. Please pray for he and his family and if anyone wants to donate ANYTHING to his cause, contact me. He has 14 children now.
Thankyou for the update. There are so many people who need money for so many different reasons. So I choose carefully who to give to. I would love to help with a donation, but with him having family in the medical profession, I would have thought he could raise this money easy enough. Is this true? Or is he in need? If he is in need, how do we help? Can you tell me, how old is he?
I think Carmel as St John said: 1 John 4 English Standard Version (ESV) Test the Spirits 4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, I think discernment of all that we recieve from GOd must be constant. THe fact that we crash and burn on one occasion does not mean that all the rest are wrong. But on the other hand the fact that we are right on one occasion does not mean we will be right on all. Its ture that many people talk of the Second Coming ans the End of the world, but many ,many Christians have seen the Second Coming as imminent right from the very start of the Church. In fact so much so that many actually stopped working to get set for it. I pewrsonally think that the locution telling you you will not die is wrong and should be ignored. In a sense there WiLL , I belive be a Second Coming as has been told by MAria Esperanza at Betania and at the approved apparitions at Rwanda . But this speaks of the Triumpoh of the Church. On the contrary to us living forever I believe a huge reaping of souls is starting to take place and will intensify. In fact the biggest reaping since the dawn of time. Jane, just because he has family in the medical profession doesn't mean he gets discounts! LOL I have family in medical professions and drug companies and I sure don't get discounts or free stuff! He is not asking at all for donations---He is certainly didn't ask me for money, I offered money TO HIM. YES--HE IS IN NEED. He absolutely is not a man who is well off. I know that for a fact. Private revelations, prophecies, locutions, private apparitions, warnings, dreams, miracles, promises of a new era..... things that only are told by the person who says it is happening to him/her but never, ever, something happens or anything can be proved true. First World War 23 millions deaths, from them 10 millions were Russian civil people. Under Stalin, 40 millions death. Second World War 60 millions deaths. In Algeria: 1.2 millions death under France occupation. Under Mao 10-70 millions deaths. Under Pol Plot, 2 millions deaths. Rwanda: 800.000 tutsis... Add the millions of abortions now days. Why should something happen now and didn't happen before to prevent so much suffering? I do not know what to think about all this.... Sorry guys, and do not take me wrong, but I cannot believe in so many "divine" interventions or communication of God or the Virgin with private people if there is no way to know that these are true. And I know, I do not have to believe it and it is not necessary for my salvation. I am bit tired hearing from people telling stories or dreams about supernatural events, claiming contact with the other world with apparitions and possessions but no way to prove true anything (and people are neither willing to help). Sorry for "disturbing" your nice forum. I came here to get more information about MDM and I also found here the same type of claims that there is for me no way to check out.
