Time to abandon private revelations

Hi John, I had demonic hallucinations the night after reading MDM messages. I was glued to the screen for the entire night reading them and I got no sleep that night becuase I was so taken in by them. I had a hallucination of a man in a hood with no face the night after. Scary stuff. There was one brief moment when I was reading them on the on the computer that I felt pure evil was coming out of the screen at me. Those messages were definitely diabolical.

 

I got badly burned by the LTTW loctutions too as did many people and have been hesitant ever since to follow private revelation.

 

no, in fact it was not.

before the institution of the liturgy of the hours, monks and scholars recited the 150 psalms. the poor and ignorant to accompany them decided to recite the 150 Ave Maria. that's how the rosary started in practice.

long after this our Lady appeared to St Dominic and reinforced to him that praying the 150 Ave Maria was really effective and gave him the beaded cord. but the prayer already existed before this private revelation. the meditations on the life of Jesus came later.
