One has to be astute and careful at the same time.

Yes, AI is a factor in a number of clips, but one can still assess the situation concerning possibilities, regarding the ending of the Ukraine War:

I don't present this as a definitive analysis, but with an eye to the past which triggers a possible outcome for the future.
    Some facts:

    (1) Since the early years of this decade, the USA (NATO?) has financed the training and building up of what I believe came to be a 500,000-man army in Ukraine.

    (2) Lest we forget, the USA is culpable to a significant degree for the sabotage of Russia's second pipeline to Europe.

    (3) NATO is now insane enough to believe that their collective military forces (apart from the USA) can cause significant damage to the Russian Army.

    (4) Russia has fought a costly war in Ukraine in order to say to the West, "Enough!" And they are methodically fighting to bring it to an end on their terms.

    (5) A USA negotiating team just returned from Moscow like a dog with its tail between its legs, leaving Europe in the dark.

    (6) The destructive attack on Odessa destroys the possibility of peace. Russia will not stop until they have decapitated the current Ukraine regime.

    (7) Will the Russians continue the war and push their offensive into Europe proper (think of Julie Jehenny's prophecy regarding a Russian advance)?

    Lord have Mercy!

Personally, I think Russia simply intend to take the entirety of the 4 provinces which they now have declared to be lawfully (following plebiscites) part of Russia. They are constitutionally obliged to take these regions now. But if Ukraine / Nato proxy forces continue to fight them, then they will I think look what is strategically necessary to hold these regions: that is they will advance to the Dniepr river and they will blow up the bridges. By doing that tbey will immediately shorten the frontline by hundreds of kilometers and save huge military resources on not having to fight all along the line of contact. However, they may then take Odessa, and Kharkiv which historically have had close ties with Russia, and maybe Kherson city which they had to retreat from previously, and Nikolaev city too. Ultimately, they could even take Kiev but I can't see them going all the way to the border with Poland. They could also seek to establish a buffer region in Sumy region and Kharkiv so that no missiles can be placed near the soft underbelly of Russia within easy distance of Moscow.

I am not defending this but just pointing out that tbey will do whatever is neccessary to establish a kind of peace which they can sustain. However, God may harden the hearts of the European leaders and Nato so that Russia will be used as an instrument of chastisement on Europe. In 1952 Pope Pius XII declared in one of his encyclicals tbat mankind is worse now than it was before the deluge. And that was before the legalisation of all those abominations which we know of. What is the world like now? Keep praying the Rosary for peace and repentance and do the first saturdays devotion for our salvation.

    Excellent analysis in my opinion.

Russia is fighting an existential war just like they did against Napoleon and Hitler. Of course they have no interest in “conquering Europe “. They are the largest country on earth. They have all the land and resources they need.

But they know the west is using Ukraine as a “battering ram “ to weaken, destabilize and ultimately destroy Russia. Never mind that nearly 2 million Ukrainians have died in the process and Ukraine may cease to exist as a country.

“Best investment we ever made” said Mitt Romney.

But President Putin has always been very clear: “Russia will be a free country or will cease to exist “.

It doesn’t get any clearer than that.

When Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938, the justification he gave was the alleged hardships suffered by ethnic German populations living in the northern and western border regions of the former country, who were collectively known as the Sudeten Germans, or simply “Sudeten.” This is an extremely similar case to the invasion of Ukraine. Putin supported the separatist movements in the country he already intended to invade, and although he believes he has the right to redefine the borders of a neighboring nation, he does not accept that another independent country has the right to join NATO. In fact, he considers himself entitled to redefine the very concept of the Ukrainian nation, merging that idea with Russian pan-Soviet nationalism. Crushing Ukraine’s Catholic cultural identity is just one consequence of that. It is much easier to admit that, if it were not for Ukraine’s mineral resources, no global political leader would be willing to play the savior and protector of the country.

It must not be forgotten that the US is now paying more interest on its national debt than it is for its defense, with Medicare lagging behind even that. Only social welfare demands more money. Because of its inability to reduce its debt, the US is paying more and more interest on interest. Combined with its increasing inability to manufacture weaponry, and the outrageous over-pricing of those that it can, it is little wonder that the newly devised NSS recommends a retreat. Another pointer towards fulfilment of prophecy.
