Was always curious about your wife's name.My 'proper' name is Gerard. But i try to restrict its use to only family members. Cannot now identify now where in the bible the power and importance of knowing a persons name is, but it has turned into this personal quirk. My mum had a v difficult first birth and i understand ( she never talked to us children about it ) that it was a tramatic stillbirth. She prayed to St Gerard when she was with me and here i am. Am sure you can't go wrong with St Gerard.
I remember hearing years ago that if you are going on holiday to a country where there are mosquito's it is a good idea to have Marmite sandwich or Marmite in some form for about 2 weeks before you go on holiday. Apparently Mosquito's won't bite because you give off some sort of odour repellent to them once it is in your system. I suppose you would need to have some every day while you are away to keep the repellent effect up. Anyway. Based on this belief, I sent an email to the manafacturers 'Unilever' and asked them to look into the possibility of doing a quick check to see if this really is effective. It would be a way of helping those who live in places where one of these critters could be the cause of a little baby being born with disability for the rest of it's life. If a Marmite sandwich or Marmite in hot water or added to stews and foods could help. I hope they take note and please God save an awful lot of heartache for a lot of families, if this simple remedy works. Besides it would not do anyone any harm to have a bit of Marmite. Get the word out there, it could be a lifesaver if it works.
Had to look up Marmite......not sure we have a version of that in the states. It did answer what a "vegimite sandwich was" from the song Land Down Under for me though....
Now they are saying that the ZIKA virus has a confirmed case in the US texas....that was transmitted sexually. NOT GOOD. I am have a funny feeling this is a virus that has been unleashed to control the population. Am I the only one feeling this way about it? But then again.....it very well could be a chastisement from God because of our sinfulness. Lord have Mercy. Christ have Mercy.
I did read somewhere that some of these critters were genetically modified and released into the environment. Then it appears they have infected the other mosquitos species with their virus. Back in the 1960's they used to say Russia would release infected birds to get us, so maybe someone wants to use insects to do the job. I think it would be God permitting these things when people reject Him and His protection. It is all down to repentance or the lack of it. And always remember, it is not the people who are sinning that get to carry the cross; but in this case the innocent children who are born into a sinful world. Mother come, Mary come, and may your Immaculate Heart Triumph quickly. Come Lord Jesus, come. Amen. Please God a solution can be found, and if Marmite protects from mosquito bites it would be worth using such a simple remedy.
You're probably right. This report talks about the "problem of pregnancy" with Zika, starting at 5 minutes, the reporter mentions some Countries that have asked women not to get pregnant until 2018. And El Salvador is apparently considering a pregnancy ban? Abortion gets discussed in the report too since some countries in question don't have abortion.
Apparently there are 3 reported cases of Zika virus now in Australia! These people have recently traveled overseas.
And the US CDC is urging doctors to check newborns for the virus. I have the same feeling. When I first heard of it, my immediate thought was that it will open the door for a new assault on life - birth control and abortion being offered as mercy. It may be that the Lord will use this issue as a demarcation: a decision for life and His law, or against it. Lord, have mercy!!!

This Barbara Boxer is barbaric! and the world is indeed Mad! when people like this are allowed to defend the indefensible, given air time and are apparently voted into some position of power by other so called humans! My thoughts too. The perfect population control storm from evil elites. Birth control mandatory, more abortions--possibly even forced. And it's transmitted through several mediums. Scary. Then again, it could be from God. Maybe it will make people less likely to take the "gift of life" for granted.

What struck me from that report was what was someone doing looking for sex from a person who was not well in the first place. It appears the symptoms are flu like, not the sort of time for nooky !

I think that messages refers to the virus, prepared in the lab (probably with some Russian support), which will be spread by the terrorists, leading to the death of millions of men. There won't be any barrier to stop the disease, but one day the cure will come. Smallpox, for instance, will be used as a weapon by the "big bearded men" against a nation. Thus, I've more than one reason to think that the message you mentioned refers to the time of the epidemic.
