After a prayerful reading of some of the messages, I would strongly
discourage anyone from taking them seriously. Here is the most
    blatant error:

    Received Friday 12th November 2010 3.00pm

Go ahead do what needs to be done in order for people to see and hear my divine messages

I trust you dear daughter to use whatever means you feel will ensure that people read the messages. You need all your energy to write the book. This book will change lives, save souls and has been foretold. Yes, the book is what was prophesied. You are the writer. I am the Author.

Do not be surprised or overwhelmed for this is a very sacred task and you have been chosen to do this work with Me. It will take you three months. I want you to publish it around the world. It must be large, powerful and sought out by millions just like the Holy Bible.

My daughter, you can publish this ‘in conversation with the secret prophet’. It is okay to do this. Why do you fear My child? You are being guided from Heaven. You must stay strong. Trust in Me. Surrender. I will hold your hand at every step of the way. I will speak with you later.

The so-called 'Jesus' commands her to write a book that is in effect equal to Scripture. It is Scripture that is the Living Word, not any other book by human means alone. It is as if Scripture became redundant, so that we need a new book.

There are many other warning signs in the messages. She claims to have been given a prediction of the recent Spanish earthquake, but the prediction did not mention Spain, and conveniently, we were informed AFTER it happened that it was referring to the Spanish earthquake.

I have noticed that some of the messages posted since Maria began posting here on this forum seem to address issues that we have been addressing on the forum or specifically with her. Now as you know I am very interested in these messages and am keeping a very positive outlook toward them, but I could not help but notice this...and the question is, are the messages simply coincidentally addressing our concerns and Maria's worries that we and others have caused her, or are our concerns and discussions actually "dictating" the content of some of the messages? The answer to that depends on the source, of course. ???

...still reading, still discerning, still waiting...waiting for some world leaders to be assassinated right now...have any of them happened? There have been some bombings and deaths lately, I wondered if any of these were part of it but Maria has not posted any mention or confirmation of them as of yet. It has been almost 2 weeks since she said three would be assassinated within a month (two from the middle east and one from Europe). (Oh, I see it was said on May 31, so we have till the end of June). For me, this triple occurrance would be a good start toward some validity of her warnings. So Maria, if you are reading, are there any updates on this prediction?

I was praying about this to Our Lady this morning and got an answer in the form of a Parable or story.

I saw a waoman walking along a road thorugh the mountains as evening was drawing down. She was in a hurry and concerned as the lights of the town were in the distance and she wanted to reach there by nightfall; but not too concerned as the road on which she travelled, though stoney was a fair one. But as she went she heard fair voices calling to her, as from a distance indicating that if she cut of the road and travelled along the heather she would find a short cut and reach the lights much more quickly and on time before night fell.

So she left the good road and began to walk across the soft heather, but as she walked the heather turned to a bog around her and she felt her feet more and more dragged down. But as she hesitated the voices spoke again , stronger each time with each summoning assuring her more and more strongly and sweetly that this new path though through bog was the right one. So the lady went as night grew down, listening ever more closely to the voices.

Now the mistake this lady made was in listening to the voices for if the voices were wrong , listening to them more strongly simply compounded her error.

We must not seek reasurances in the messages themselves, for it is the blind leading the blind so to speak. The messages cannot confim the messages.

So if 'Maria' happens to read this I recommend as follows:

Close down the messages , the 'voices', for a set period of say a month. Whatever they say to you just ignore them , even if they threaten, beg or plea, just close them down ,Ignore them. Also close down your website over this period, post or write no more messages and stop writing the book.

Take a copy of all your writings to a learned priest , Irecommend theDominicans or Jesuits in DUblin for verification.

Make a copy of critical posts here making discrening comments, they are very good and show them to the riest as well. Submit yourself to his advise.

If your current Spiritual Director is allowing you to publish these messages I recommend you drop him.

Also I adivise wearing a St Benedicts medal and the use of Holy Water and blessed salt around your home.

Go back and test your messages aginst scrip[ture and enter a prayerful period of discernment.

Await the verdict of your selected priest, who should be a qualified and experienced professional theologian.

But above all simply ignore future messages over the set period.

    Then see how it goes

I'll call down to see you if you like if you PM or email and advise.

    God bless, Padraig

    Padraig,

This is really sound advice. I hope she follows your lead, I believe it would lead her to peace of mind and heart.

Even Mother Teresa when she heard the voice of Our Lord went straight to her Spiritual Director and would do nothing until her Director, after a year, gave her the freedom to do so.

There is great wisdom in your words.

Your comments make me so sad. No one is forcing you to believe these messages. I will leave it at that.

I pray for all of you because the truth is often very difficult to digest so it is not always full of the joy that you would expect.

God bless all of you. I will not be visiting the forum again for I have been forbidden to do so. I hope some day when the truth is revealed to you all you will understand. I pray for all of you and I hope you will pray for me. The next prophecy will be revealed by this Sunday. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU. I WILL NOT BOTHER YOU AGAIN. MARIA

Just a little note that it wasn't me who, 'forbade' Maria from joining this forum again. I suspect it was the, 'jesus' of her messages.

For those of you are still in a discernment process over these messages this may be something to bear in mind. That 'Jesus' does not seem to approve at all of this forum and to discern whether or not this might be true? Christ is not divided against Himself.

Good observation, Padraig. I dismissed them from the beginning and do so even more now. Excuse me for quoting myself, but these messages have a very flawed understanding of Catholicism. The source seems to see the Church with worldly perspective--judging it based on what non-Catholics have said about it. The Vatican sits on a vat of gold, should sell of it's riches, yada yada yada. And the bishops dress in fancy robes and wearing expensive rings--so they're all stinking rich.

Anyway, back to my point. A faithful Catholic already acknowledges that the Word was given before, during and after His time on earth--so why is Jesus preaching to the choir? In the past the Holy Spirit spoke through through the prophets, scripture and tradition. Today the Holy Spirit continues to guide and instruct the world through the Catholic Church. If this was truly Jesus speaking, He'd remind us to be obedient to the Church, that He speaks through her, but instead this false Jesus is attempting to lead us in a strange new direction, having us choose the words of a modern day "sacred prophet" over that of the Church. The way the messages are worded Jesus never seems to acknowledge the inspiration and authority of the Magesterium. But he does seem to enjoy chastising the clergy.

I didn't dismiss these messages based on this one message, because it's worded kind of clunky, so perhaps I'm reading it incorrectly. While the messages support things such as prayer, the chaplet, fastening and so on--at their root they seem passive aggressive against church authority. Take a look at the November 10, 2010 message again.

At a glance it's not difficult to accept this at face value, because we all know many bishops and cardinals have lost their way and haven't exactly been strong leaders for their flocks. But as I was saying earlier the source of the messages seems to accept the ignorant assertion that the Vatican sits on a vault of gold, and that bishops are dripping in wealth because the way the dress. Again, this part of the messages wasn't exactly a deal breaker for me, but combined with the anti-clerical flavor strewn throughout the messages, it became part of it. What was a big deal breaker for me though was the part that instruction to the bishops to "PUT DOWN YOUR ROBES". That's that opposite of what I think Jesus would tell them. He'd tell them to go out in the world and put on their robes, to wear them as a sign of their royal priesthood, and as a visible reminder of the authority given to them by the High Priest Himself. Jesus, I believe, would remind them of the their dignity and duty, telling them to feed His sheep, to take up their staffs and lead the flock. These messages have little good to say about the clergy, accept the pope, who according to those false Jesus is the last true pope ever.

Another big deal breaker for me was the way the devil seems to be a favorite topic of Jesus and Mary. They give him all kinds of nicknames, The Deceiver, the Evil One, and so on. These messages talk about the devil so often I wonder if he's behind them--because being the narcissist that he is, the devil can't stop talking about himself, what he's going to do, how he's going to snatch away sinners, setting himself up as if he's an equal adversary to God. He's not, but he sure is a braggart. Anyway, in genuine messages the devil and his influence are sometimes acknowledged, but he rarely gets so much attention.

Wow, I was just finishing a very detailed post acknowledging much of what you guys are saying, I had spent about 10 minutes on it, and with one slip of the keyboard, it completely disappeared! I don't even know how! Normally, when I lose a post or an email, I take it as a sign that I should not have written it. I take it as my angel intervening in some way. I guess it sould also be Stan...
Anyway, I will not write everything I did before, but will touch on the main points again. I have been keeping an optomistic outlook on Maria's messages, but there are a couple things here in these last few posts that have also concerned me. First, to say she was being forbidden to visit here...I figured it was from the message originator but thanks Padraig for that clarification. That seems odd, why would Jesus need to do that? What about free will and all that? He may caution her and council her on how to deal with rejection or with doubt, but I don't recall Jesus ever forbidding anyone to do (or not do) anything in other messages or scriptures. But he should be able to ease her doubts in other ways. The visionaries of Medjugorje and Fatima and others have dealt with prison, interrogation, armed guards trying to stop them, Bishops condemning them, yet their faith in the messages were unwavering for all their years.

The other thing that was in the November post that you re-posted, Rain, was where Jesus says the Bishops "will not be forgiven". This also seems totally out of charactor for Jesus. Now, I do not like to ever say "Jesus (or God) would never" do this or that, so instead I will say that it is in my opinion out of charactor. I thought we could be forgiven for any and every sin we could ever conceive to commit, that we would always have that chance for forgiveness and reparation up until the moment we die and afterward for reparation. Also, with the warning so close, where we will receive God's most merciful gift and will have that chance to change in a big way, why would he tell anyone they would not be forgiven for anything? Now, I do believe God is going to bring down his justice on those shephards who are not leading their flocks to Him properly, and this is probably one of the many reasons why Mary is begging us to pray for the priests so often. So to say this is kindof soul-threatening...not merciful. And Rain, I agree with you that it is normally his charactor to say to take up their staffs and to put on their robes and lead the flocks, not to take them off and join the flocks. They are "in persona Christi" by the grace of the sacrament...forever, even if not allowed to practice. Some people do not realize that the sacrament itself can never be recinded by human actions once received, no matter what a priest does. Perhaps some of them could be less flashy...with simpler vestments...but it all has its meanings and symbolism, and so much of it is right from the Torah, the old Testament books. Many folks don't understand that either. I didn't until a couple of years ago when I attended a wonderful talk by a priest from Indiana.

I also noticed that the deceiver is mentioned a lot. It seems to be increasing too, which also was bugging me but I was ignoring it...there are many grammatical errors and things in the messages that I feel are just poor translations that I have been trying to gloss over and not put a lot of weight on, but some of these things are hard to ignore. I am also praying for Maria, who says she is being attacked in her bed at night.

Maria said that the next prophecy would be revealed by today. Nothing new yet. I thought at first she meant that one of the prior prophecies would be fulfilled, but reading it again, it may just be that she will be posting another new one today. We will see what she says a little later on her site, perhaps.

    Maria and Buttman,

I think you have failed to see the loving concern of our admonishments. Remember, we are instructed by the spiritual works of mercy to admonish, instruct, and to counsel. What is difficult is to be on the receiving end of such responses, and so often one perceives this as rejection. A number of years ago I was involved in leadership in a particular prayer group and one of the members, who was ten years my junior, asked to get together. When we did, Dan pointed out several areas where he thought I had acted inappropriately. He was correct, but even so, it was painful to swallow my pride and to change direction. But I will always be grateful for Dan's gumption!

Prov 10:17 He who heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof goes astray.

Too often I react immaturely. There have been some occasions on this forum when I have been very excited about something and have posted accordingly. Subsequently, no one comments or encourages me, and my feelings are hurt. It is important to understand the foibles of our human condition  I believe both of you might be struggling with such feelings.

Buttman, Padraig reacted forcefully to your mention of a "new prayer". He was not coming against any spiritual blessing you might have received, but rather, the seer who promotes the prayer. Joe Coleman's involvement in a form of soothsaying is ample reason for concern. Maria, when you post here in hope we help you raise the banner of warning to the world, you have not bothered us. But it is important for us to test everything, for our longing for God to act can so easily distort our discernment. If the prophecy of three assasinations plays out before the end of June, then a reassessment will be necessary on my part. If they do not occur or are unexpectantly postponed, I urge you to take the advise of Padraig, take a step back, and ask the Church to more carefully examine what you have received. You and Buttman are in my prayers.

Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!

I'm sorry Terry that I have not always answered or taken an interest in all your posts or that of other people. My mind tends to be like a real grasshopper. Also I notice that I sometimes completely miss peoples posts or consider them so complete in themselves that they do not require an answer, like Deanna's previous post. But I will pay more attention i nfurutre , I promise.

As far as claimed visions are concerned I am a very laid back person and left to myself I would far rather let things ride and do and say nothing even if they are a source of concern. But really I think Scripture points out that if we see something harmful and do not speak out:

15 “If your brother or sister sins,[c] go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’[d] 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

    That admonishment is a duty.

I don't mean we should make being a critic a career move  But in the case of visions and prophesy , yes I do think we have a duty, especially if it is a public one. If on the other hand it is a private revelation a personal thing, well that is a different kettle of fish and can be left up to the person's spiritual director.

But I really admire the person who corrected you Terry; I would just about shrivel up and die than do such a thing. I would usually be too embarassed. Still on two occasions I did speak out to two priests. I warned them that priests who go to hell do not suffer the same torments as the rest of us, for those to whom much is given much is expected. One of the priests is currently in prison for multiple rape and the other is taking his Bishop to court to steal Church property. So it wasn't small things I spoke to them about and only because Our Lady gave me a sharp hard push to do so.

My Spiritual Director was great at this. He would 'never let the hare sit' as we say in Irland. THe slightest fault was brought up and debated at apparently endless lengths.   I loved him for this. SUch a person is worth jewels.

But I am sure you have all noticed we are never short of foks to point things out to us , the problem is listneing to them , really listneing to them when they speak.

I am envious of married people for this, they have the perfect companion to point out faults. I have the folks at work which is something.

The most wonderful example of this I ever read was Saint Charles of Mount Argus:

    http://charlesofmountargus.org/

One fo the priests in the monastery took the most severe case of the grudge match against St Charlie and never ever stopped correcting him quite publically everywhere and everyplace and every way he ever could and since it was a small monastery there was no escape for St Charles. So bad was it that the other priests thought this arch critic had been ordered by his superiors to do so to keep St Charles humble. But not at all it was simply a dreadful grudge match. THis went on most of Fr Charles life; just imagine. ..and Fr CHarles never complained, no not a word.

    Amazing, just amazing.

Dear friends in Christ, I am new to this forum and stumbled here while searching for this 'Warning Second Coming' website. Your discussion has been very helpful in discerning the messages from the website. I am very concerned about some people in my community who has taken these messages very seriously, spending a lot of money to store food and all that. I am trying to keep an open mind but I do feel a lot of fear and anxiety reading these messages. I do not know whether they are authentic but here is something I learned from St. John of the Cross:

"It must be known that even though these apprehensions come to the bodily senses from God, one must never rely on them or accept them. A man should rather flee from them completely, and have no desire to determine whether they be good or bad. The more exterior and corporal they are, the less certain is their divine origin." St. John of the Cross, Ascent of Mount Carmel Bk 2.

St. John of the Cross tells us that we must never accept any messages even if they are from God, because our imperfect human faculties can misinterpret even authentic revelations. He said by doing so, we avoid deceptions of bad visions and we do not lose any grace if we do not accept true visions (Mt Carmel, Bk 2, Ch 18-19). This is in line with the Church's teaching that private revelations are not necessary for salvation and they are not infallible, even the approved ones.

I agree that the seer Maria needs to discern the origin of the messages. Just because she believes they are from God, doesn't mean they are from God. I would think that if the messages are genuine, God may not be very fair to the millions of faithful Catholics who trust in the teachings of Holy Scriptures and the Church which He founded, and not depend on dubious anonymous visions.

I am also very concerned about the prophecy of the assassinations. Why would God want to prove His authenticity by such diabolical acts? In the history of apparitions, God proves Himself through beautiful acts such as the spring in Lourdes, the painting in Guadalupe and the dancing sun in Fatima. Only the devil will inspire people to murder. If they happen, evil would have won and more people would think that the messages are fulfilled. I can only pray that the Lord stops all these evil plans.

This is just something I wish to share. Thanks for reading, God bless all+

    Ditto!

Talk about making a splash- thanks for the insight, brokenchord!

This discussion reminds me of something I read the other day in The Ratzinger Report, a book that contains a 1985 interview with then-Cardinal Ratzinger on the state of the Church. In it, the Pope was asked about Medjugorje, and gave an interesting response that I think is appropos here: "In this area, more than ever, patience is the fundamental principle . . . No apparition [or message] is indispensable to the faith; Revelation terminated with Jesus Christ. He himself is the Revelation. But we certainly cannot prevent God from speaking to our time through simple persons and also through extraordinary signs that point to the insufficiency of the cultures stamped by rationalism and positivism that dominate us." (p. 111) (emphasis added).

Wise words. Patience is key. And remember: We have all we need in Jesus Christ!

Wow, thanks Brokenchord, but I am a little confused. What about all the chastisements and other warnings in the other messages we listen to...the chastisements and upheavals in the secrets of Medjugorje, the death of the Pope, the fall of Rome, and the bloody deaths of many religious in the third secret of Fatima, and of course the warning itself from Garabandal, which will cause such anguish and will cause some to die, though ultimately it will be the great act of mercy for us. Also, what about the Book of Revelation and all the things we are thinking may be starting to happen now that are scary, and downright nightmarish? God does not reveal himself in only beautiful, miraculous ways, all over the Old Testiment this is the case...the flood, Sodom & Gommorah, the plagues of Egypt, not to mention the annailation of civilizations by the Hebrews during their 40 years in the desert. I'm sorry, I know I am jumping back and forth with agreeing and then criticising the messages on the Warning site, and I do agree that the assasinations of leaders does seem like an odd prediction, but is it really that different from the Fatima secret prediction for the religous persons? Thoughts anyone?

Hi everyone, suppose someone tells you that he predicts some house will be burned down soon. Then he gets someone to burn the house down. It would seem that his predictions are correct. But it would be a different matter if he tells you that some house will turn into a castle overnight. He certainly couldn't get anyone to do that. That would be a miracle.

This is the analogy I am seeing here in these prophecies of assassinations...

The messages also predict floods in Southern France and heatwaves in Turkey this summer... but there were floods and heatwaves in those regions last year. This is the same with the Iceland volcanoes and earthquakes. These natural disasters happen frequently.

I may be wrong and Lord, forgive me if I am. But I think God would want us to be discerning and not overly gullible people.

    God bless!

  20. padraig

I think its a bit like a parent with its child. The parent may correct the child and warn it if it goes astray... the parent may also warn the child what will happen if it keeps doing wrong things, suhc as, 'If you don't watch yourself on the roads you will get run over!'

However in this as in all things its a matter of moderation. If the parent is perpetually telling the poor child the awful things that will happen to the child the poor child will just about shrivel up and die. But if the parent leads the child with strings of love..

I think there is this quality of Our Lady in true apparitions and apparition sites that she leads her children with love; whereas on the other hand in false sites we tend to get a shopping list of (near) futre disasters that turns our hair white and leaves us a shivering gibbering heap. A true mother or father lovingly and naturally strikes the balance between these two things. Love and regulation. So when Mary speaks she has the natural music or rythm of a loving mother. THis music of love is not present in the false sites. there is a dissonance that causes us to say, 'THese are not the words of love' These are the words of fear....and as scripture says:

    1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
