I do like Michael Voris and his take on things more and more. At first I was concerned that he and team were not well rooted Spriitualy and had too much of worldy/ media/ poltical take on things. But it is beomcing more and more apparnet that they are very well rooted Spritually , that they are people of prayer and are exercising a real Prophetic Voice. How the Church Authorites must hate them! But it is also evident that they appear to have no Control Handle on them wahtsoever. This muct be driving them all crazy. The Internet has brought us many, many bad things. But it has broght us many, many good things too. The days of burying the terrible secrets of the Church are at and end. I wish the Vatican and Catholic Bishops everywhere would cotton on to it. Even at this late stage. Being open, transparent and honest are not the worst thing in the world. I tend to agree more and more on your thoughts on Voris. It certainly is the farthest thing from a ministry and I don't check out his videos to aid in any spiritual growth but it's good that someone has a microscope on the questionable goings on at the Vatican with the cardinals and bishops. The truth holds up under any scrutiny and even welcomes it. What I don't think Voris realizes is once the liberals are back in power they along with the liberal cardinals and bishops could and likely will have him shut down in a matter of months. Call it hate speech, call it libel, or just sue them out of existence.
Iwas thinking today about three stories concerning St Padre Pio and Pope St Pius x. Padre Pio one time was vistied by a top Iralian Industrialist from the North who owned a car factory. He was hiving a lot of toruble with Communists in his work force, who i suppose were effectively trying to hi jack his buisness. Padre pio, in line with the then Church (witness Fulton Sheen) told him to be very hard on them. The Industarialist said to the saint, 'You adive me to take a club to them?' Padre Pio replied, 'Put nails in it!' St Pope Pius x when he was a young Parish Priest took part in a fight with Radically anti Catholic Freemasons at a march past near his Church. If euither Padre Pio or Pius X had done such things today they would have been sent to the head shrinker and shown the door by pretty well most Bishops in the West. Why is this? I think as St Paul says, that the Spritiual see all things spiritually. Whereas the worldly see things with the eyes of the world. As senior secualr managers see them. The way of the Modern Western World is not to see things in terms of black and white but in terms of shades of grey. Many, many shades of confused grey. That things are always about compromise. Compromise with child abusers, compromise with pro abort Politicians, compromise with perverts priests, compromise with Financial Mafias..and on and on and on... People like Padre Pio and Pius X were not and are not acceptable to an Institution like the Church Hirachy because they see things Spriitually, in terms of Black and white, in terms of good and evil. Most in the leadership of the Church have long , long lost touch with such a reality. Why? Well simply because they do not pray. The Words, 'Good' and 'Evil' simply have no meaning for them.
Well, I suppose that it's their turn to get a share of Peter's Pence. Fr. Spadaro's junket to China with the rest of the Vatican's museum pieces would be small change in comparison with the cost of funding all the committees, dicastries, think-tanks and synods whose main purpose seems to be finding ways to demolish the faith while keeping the likes of Mark Mallet believing that nothing has changed. Was that a coca plant on the altar at the Amazon Synod's closing Mass? It's native to South America. Maybe they will start growing their own now that importing it would increase their carbon footprint. If they are as economical with that as they are with the truth, there might be something left over to feed Rome's poor more than once per year. And the budget might stretch to something more eco friendly than plastic bottles. God help us. I suppose that we're more to be pitied than laughed at. Maybe all these compensation claims by abuse victims are a blessing in disguise. The poor Church can't come soon enough so we can see an exodus of all these leeches.
What terrible, terrible times we like in. What was it that Billy Graham said, 'If God does not punish this genration he owes a big apology to Sodom and Gommorrah!' Rome will burn. Mark my words on this. Rome will burn to the very sticks. Because God appears to be silent doesn't mean He isn't listening. He is. I think some of these Theologians seem to want to go to hell.
I believe you are right, and so does the History channel. I watched a segment on the Last Pope of Malachy the other day, and found it very interesting. They did an excellent job on depicting end times prophecy, Fatima, and much more. If you get a chance I would highly recommend to watch it.

That's a wise introduction of perspective. How many past posts might I find of myself trying to justify some word or action of Pope Francis and performing some mental somersaults in the process? We all struggled here as the truth of the matter slowly dawned on us. Does anyone remember that book 'No False Prophet' by Peter Bannister and how we wanted desperately to believe it? I might reread it sometime-at this point it must present as 'comedy gold'.

As the current crisis of the church dramatically unfolds we must be reminded of the words of Pius X. I think he was truly a prophet and one of the greatest popes. The quote below imo contains in its simplicity, clarity and directness the answer to many of the issues we have been discussing here the last day or two.
I think the saint took these things so very, very seriously because some inner Prophetic insight caused him to see the future we are now live in. The same for Saint Padre Pio. Somehow they KNEW.
