Writing in boldface type and in large font size doesn't make your opinion have more weight. It just makes you look like you're trying to yell me down. Not a good look
Im sorry, but I feel Barry Hanratty's words are mostly nonsense but ofcause mixed with true words to keep people interested. CONCHITA: Why is the miracle going to take place? To convert the world? JESUS: To convert the whole world. CONCHITA: Will Russia be converted? JESUS: Yes, she also will be converted and thus everybody will love our Hearts. (emphasis added). If the 'whole world' will be converted with a miracle I have no idea why we are worried about any souls being lost or worried about the mess within the Church. As the blind man and Conchita must be getting old now, so it has to happen soon. Sorry, this whole idea is not scriptual. As it says in Luke 16:31. 'Neither will they be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' Vatican 11 has been a disaster and it's only been successful for the devil, as the smoke of satan was already withinn the Vatican.
What! When? Did he recieve his eye sight again as promised? I know that there have been many failed prophecies connected to Garabandal, but that man was who everyone was hanging their hats on. Does Glenn know about this and are you sure?
I'm positive. He died in June 2014. He didn't receive his eyesight, but he did die on the anniversary of one of the Garabandal dates. I take no position on Garabandal, just kind of wait and see.
Our parish has a very reverent regular mass because our priest is reverent thankfully. There are some things that bother me about it but nothing that I can see is intentional on anyone's part. I really wish that after Mass people had a little more consideration for others who wish to stay and give thanks afterward but it is a pretty large congregation. It is hard to hear oneself think it can be so loud at times and people tend to linger afterward and talk in the pews which saddens me and occasionally makes me angry. I also attend regularly an FSSP Tridentine parish which is a bit of a drive from us. For the most part it is very reverent also and the priests there are as well. The congregation is undoubtedly. On occasion there I have wondered if the priest is trying to set a new record for speeding through the mass. So, obviously these things depend heavily on the priest and sometimes probably his schedule unfortunately. At my regular parish the Tridentine Rite is offered twice monthly and it is incredibly reverent and beautiful and I love being part of it. I think that some men may have tried intentionally to leave a whole lot of room for interpretation in some of the documents of Vatican II. If I had no choice in the matter and my local priest were irreverent or liked to insert interpretive dance during the celebration of the Mass and that sort of thing I would complain to them then move on to the Bishop and likely move on to another parish if ignored. I don't think there were not problems before Vatican II though. The Popes warned repeatedly against modernism and were ignored. In fact I am sure there were problems because of the drastic changes afterward. It was a time of great changes in society and many were seduced and indoctrinated by the allure of fake science and secular thinking including some priests and bishops. I think of this as switching off ones brain because it seems that rather than question the things of this world then and today people act simply as empty vessels being filled with worldly pseudo science and .50 cent words they regurgitate to feel good about themselves and never question for themselves the origin and most importantly intent and result of these things. They only question and condemn what the Church has taught. Today even more so than ever. We have been setup for a very great deception. One I think pseudo science will have a great role in perpetuating since it has become the new religion of the masses.
GREAT Truth here, Don! Great post. This great deception really began in earnest around the time of the French Revolution. Actually, it began in the Garden of Eden. I'm glad I am not still "out there."
There must be a lot of anniversary dates so thats a safe call. I dont and can never believe the Mother of God having even one prophecy wrong. Joey just adds to the list and I am surprised people still believe. If 1+1 doesn't equal 2, I stay away.
I think many of us have a strong desire for reverence at Mass as it was before vatican 11.. Unfortunately there are many more who love the social occation.
I havewatched and rewatched several times Dr Taylor Marshall's latest videio which he went on air with , with Patrick Coffin and Dr Tim Gordon. All three very heavy hitted, real Church scholars and authorities. People to pay real, real atention to. Very hetereorthox, very devout. First rate Catholics. Anyway to my amazement they appear to be openly questiony the Validity of Pope Francis's Election due to the interference and plotting of the St Gallen Mafia. I say amazement since I always tired to put a topper on such discussion on the forum, for several reasons. The times they area changing.
I think we are wasting time if we spend time on this issue of validity since we do not have access to all of the evidence. Our conclusions would always be speculation. God has allowed these things to happen to sift the weed from the chaff and to test our hearts. One can still respect the office and also trust that God is still in control. And that requires a great deal of faith when you look around and see the collapse before your eyes.
I believe because it was said he would have new eyes. The Blessed Mother said nothing of joey being alive. Also Padre Pio had quiet involvement. Also joeys life was spent spreading the word of our Blessed Mother and of Garabandal. He was such a beautiful man. Garabandal is in my heart. ❤
A priest facing his congregation is turning his back on God. 'Out loud' is only a delusion derived from microphone technology. Without this, few would hear the priest, anyway. Christ had the finest woman in history available, not to mention many other saintly women, but people of that time, and most times, were wise enough to realise the distinctiveness of their roles and were not blinded by the demon's commandment that is 'equality'. Latin is the best language to preserve truth. Vernaculars change and so does the meaning of certain words. The fact remains that the Jews rejected their Messiah. Hiding this will not make this truth go away. It needs to be asked if this change was a cowardly surrender to Jewish post-Shoah propaganda. The Catholic Church bears no guilt for a Holocaust that would have been even more comprehensive but for its efforts. It is as wrong to admit to sins for which one is not responsible as to deny the ones for which one is. Collegiality runs the risk of being a threat to unity.
This needs to be proven by the appropriate protocols and authorities. He remains my pope, whether I like it or not and I try to pray for him every day. As he requested.
There are several reasons why I did not encourage questioning Poep Francis on the forum over the years. 1. That it would be a source of scandal, divsion and scandal to the people of God. People who were honestly questioning would run a mile. 2. Real concerns that it is not the role of layfolk to ask such questions and if we have a moral and cononicla right to do so. That it is the role of Bishops and particularly the Cardinal Electors. 3. Only a handful of clergy or Bishops have asked such questions. In fact CardinalGarcia is the only one I ever heard of and none of the Caridnals. 4. Fear for my Eternal soul. 5. Even if we presume he were not legit, what good would it do? It is a rabbit hole, which, like Alice in Wonderland, you could go down and never come out. We'd all end up endlessly arging about it and getting nowhere.
Dawkins and Hawking and the like I compare to cheap celebrities. The 'A-list' scientists and mathematicians of the last century (and they're no longer appearing, interestingly), were mostly believers of at least some deity or other and many were practicing Christians. For example, Einstein, Planck, Heisenberg, Monsignor 'Big Bang' Lemaitre and Goedel. I think I can rest my case!
I think the question is not whether Pope Francis is valid. I think it would be naive to think that politics do not arise as a commonplace in all papal elections. It is an election after all. To go down that road is truly a rabbit-hole. What if evidence begins to come to light about previous popes? Or a future pope? Sedevacantism is what sits at the bottom of this hole. It is never right to do the wrong in order to achieve the right. It seems we have a wicked pope. This needs to be dealt with, not that I have a clue how, but taking a false alternative 'easy way' route of trying to prove him invalid would be even more catastrophic. Cardinal Mueller's way, while not flashy, or likely to provide a quick fix, may be the best.
