There is a nearby priest who has Adoration and Confession a couple of times a month
We are in a rural area but still a lot of people attend
He offers this during the week in addition to his
    Saturday Confession
    He’s great

Didn't you know that Loon is the new Normal, maybe even Holy. Have a read of this, and then high-tail it down to your local College of Art if you want to understand what "Truth" means: https://cruxnow.com/vatican/2018/08...splendor-francis-and-development-of-doctrine/

I think we've reached the Twilight Zone. We'll know for sure when we get an encylical telling us that contraception is necessary for the good of our common home.

They would love us to believe they are succeeding because it places people who seek the Truth and long for Justice on the fringe. I refuse to buy what they are trying to sell. If they were succeeding then why is the FSSP growing and filling vocations with no trouble? Why is the Church having such dire problems with vocations that in Seattle at least they have to bring priests in from Africa to fill in?
I watched a video of the rite for the new Auxiliary Bishop for the Seattle Arch diocese (who said Mass at a retreat that my daughters went to and were horrified btw ) and in it a great deal of the priests for the diocese attend. I would estimate that about 5% of the priests in attendance could be classed as younger.
Pray for them. The narrow road is not in their lexicon.

Crux cracks me up, if they are "taking the pulse" of Catholics then hey should allow comments on their articles. I wonder why they don't. They are simply a propaganda arm of those inside the church who wish to push this narrative of evolving doctrine. Hogwash.

Does anyone have an actual link to the Fr. Rosica article? I looked but couldn't find it. I would like to read it for myself rather than just get snippets.

    Okay thanks Dolours and Brian.
Yep it's as bad as it seems
Well good news I guess if you're Protestant.

He certainly has a colorful history of papolatry:

    https://onepeterfive.com/fr-rosicas-bias-are-we-getting-the-whole-synod-story/

    Excerpt:

“....More recently, it was Fr. Rosica who, during the papal visit to the United States, went on Fox News Sunday and said,

The backdrop [of the papal visit] is a world steeped in violence and bloodshed and rancor and hatred, and here we have coming — to your city, to your diocese — a real prince of peace. If there’s any princely title that should be associated with Francis, it’s “The Prince of Peace.”

(You can see it for yourself here, beginning at 5:08 on the video timeline.)

It is an uncomfortable thing to have a priest acting in an official capacity as a Vatican spokesman using Our Lord’s prophetic title from Isaiah 9:6 to describe his boss. But this was not an isolated incident. After Pope Francis’s speech in Philadelphia, Rosica said, “I have often wondered how Jesus taught on a Galilean hillside. Tonight in Philadelphia I saw how Jesus taught.””

Look on the bright side, Brian. So far they have only replaced Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The time to worry is when they start saying he's really God the Father. That might take a while because the God of the Old Testament is a tad on the rigid side - all the "Thou shalt not" stuff in the Ten Commandments is hate speech to them.

Indeed, there's already a protestant church, that has replaced God the Father with God the Creator so as to accommodate the gender confused .:(

Woooooooow. I would not be using that moniker on any mortal man.
I wonder if he was so in love with the Papacy when Benedict XVI was Pope?

"Sometimes satan comes as a Man of Peace".

Blasphemy and idolatry. At best, he is completely misguided. Certainly, there are shades of the Antichrist here. I have noticed certain hints before, though I can't say it was from this creature, that Pope Francis is almost the incarnation of the Holy Spirit.

I don't think many pay much attention. We live in the era of hyperbole, so that is hopefully how most will respond to it, but I think it is not meant as hyperbole-these people actually believe it, God help them.

Perhaps, God's intention behind all this is to teach us a painful lesson in how we view our Church leadership. And, as bad as our clergy and hierarchy are, I read this week the opinion expressed that, if given the reins of power, the laity would be worse. It is miraculous that, despite the governance of so many sinners, heretics and atheists, so much of the Church's Truth still remains intact. May Our Lord maintain the Miracle.
