At least not publicly. But they have said it privately.

    Praetorian,

I am truly in awe of the analogy that WBTW made, I didn't think of that nor did I read it in any of the articles about the conference.

I find that analogy to be quite remarkable!

    Do not be disturbed, please
I know you were not referring to me personally but to my attitude of extreme caution
Nonetheless I am not trying to cover up the truth
But we keep hearing stuff over and over like a broken record which we cannot completely add up
Padraig is right to pray over it to see if any new illumination comes forth
I come from the position that we can sincerely believe something as truth and it turns out that we have been wrong
    Been there done that
I did that for years with a certain condemned private revelation
I thought everything added up and everyone else was wrong
So that is why I am cautious
We just don’t have all the information

Who? How do we know? On what basis would he be invalid?

No basis. He was validly elected by the college of Cardinals. Pope Benedict said as much and recognizes his validity as well.

It's true we have no proof, just circumstantial, 'Indicators'

I would love to know the thoughts that are going through certain Cardinals heads on the matter, like Cardinals Sarah, Burke, Brandmuller and Bishops like Schneider. These things must have crossed their minds; they must have, even though they have been too prudent to come out with it.

At this stage many , many millions of Catholics...it must hat least have crossed their minds.

I don't myself doubt his validity as Pope

Like HH, I try to be very cautious also but I have felt attacked in the past on the forum. I was basically excused of not taking a strong enough stance about the Pope.
The same people who did this have been dabbling with "sedevacantism" but in their minds that is ok. For instance, they questioned whether or not Pope Pius XII was the last valid Pope. I absolutely do not believe that this is ok under any circumstances. I honestly can't understand this idea at all. How can someone follow Our Lady and Our Lord and question some of the things that they have questioned? Imho, there are a number of other forums for that sort of thinking.

Yes, we should be free to post with charity on the forum but these extreme notions like Pope Pius XII was the last valid Pope, no, I don't think that this is acceptable at all and belittling someone for not taking the same position that they do is completely unacceptable also.

As for Pope Francis being a valid Pope or not, I have discussed this on the forum and the thought has occurred to me that he may not be but as member Fatima has stated we have no proof otherwise, therefore, only God knows.

So, we are doing all that we can do in the position that we are in at the moment and we continue to take Our Lady's advice.

Yes all we can do is pray for the Holy Spirit to guide us; very difficult troubling times.:)

May God lead and guide us to a good place and wise knowledge and loads of prudence.

A Shortened Gaudete Et Exsultate (Against All My Enemies)
    Bergoglio, yesterday
I've read the new Apostolic Exhortation Gaudete Et Exsultate so you don't have to.

You would be better off reading a comic book.

This latest piece of evil dreck, signed by "Francis," but probably written by Victor Manuel (Tucho) Fernández, the foul-mouthed "kissing priest, or one of the other new-Borgia Pope's corrupt and perverted coterie, is 22,087 words too long.

I've shortened it to less than 15% of that length, leaving in only the most important bits.

Unsurprisingly, as many news organizations and commenters - both pro-, neutral and anti-Francis have already noted, in some ways this "Call to Holiness" can be reduced to a series of attacks against Jorge Mario Bergoglio's perceived enemies, not the least of which simply are faithful Catholics.

One of them said today that the document was "sinister" in that, while it could (with some stretching) be read in an orthodox manner (so as to provide cover), the more obvious interpretation is a diatribe against the Enemies of the Revolution.

As well as a call to action to go after those enemies with what energy the Francis Junta still has left.

In other words, it's a set of truths, half-truths and lies worthy of the devil himself.

By the way, the devil himself gets a mention in the document. See, you can just see the idiot chorus proclaiming, the Pope does believe in hell.

Is it disrespectful of the papal office to mock Gaudete Et Exsultate? On the contrary, I think - it's disrespectful of the office not to mock it.

As another friend remarked, yesterday: "I’ve never seen such broad, open hatred of Bergoglio. His stock has tanked harder than Facebook."

    I
suspect this latest emanation will hasten that. Anyone with half a Catholic brain can see exactly what he's doing.

These excerpts - most of them full paragraphs - are taken directly from Gaudete Et Exsultate in the order written. Where the references are not obvious, I've noted them. Unsurprisingly, they are all references to Francis' own statements.

Do you really think the tide has turned against Pope Francis? I hear the Italian Bishops are backing him like crazy on the media every day.

You are right Carol, Our Lady's advice will never steer us wrong. The only defense I would make toward those with questions regarding the Papal lineage here on MOG is that the posters here yourself included are very knowledgeable, have much wisdom and I think are also very well catechized. I think it is actually a great compliment to many here in fact when it might be taken as an attack on ones beliefs and ultimately the Truth to have such things brought to light. Of course the spirit one presents when bringing these topics up and then confronted with the facts presented by others here is telling. We are in uncharted territory and I think all are a bit unsure.

In the spirit of yesterdays Divine Mercy it is prudent I think to say to ourselves many times each day; Jesus, I trust in you.

We are all on a spiritual tightrope. It takes great prudence and extreme charity to navigate our way across this chasm. We all have questions--legitimate questions and concerns about this pontificate. But we must proceed with such delicacy and such care. A retreat into prayer is a good option. And confidence in Our Lord to work it out. Peace comes from trust. Jesus I trust in You.
However I believe some are called to call out the errors and give warnings. And I'm sure those tasked with this know who they are. I know I am not one of them. But I support them in prayer. But for me or anyone to make any spiritual diagnosis of Pope Francis is a terrifying prospect. Or for Pope Benedict for that matter. We simply don't know what is going on. We do know there is diabolical disorientation. i feel it myself. Without the safeguard of Our holy Mother I don't think we would make it. What we must do is keep charity with each other in every circumstance! The devil will use every opportunity to divide and to sow mistrust. We musnt give him any foothold at all.
Sorry for the rant. Just my two cents.
