Thanks, IJoP. This is vague and seems to be just one interpretation, but I will try to cross-reference it with his actual words to see if it helps. The "Last Supper of the Lord" referring to Lutheran communion is interesting. I wonder how that conclusion is reached. As far as I understand, the Lutherans don't call it that (I am a former Lutheran myself), but maybe things are different in Europe.
'Cause they is false prophets. "During the time of the approach of the punishments announced at La Salette, an unlimited amount of false revelations will arise from hell like a swarm of flies; a last attempt of Satan to choke and destroy the belief in the true revelations by false ones." - Marie Julie Jahenny of La Fraudais, mystic and stigmatic
Hi Mac I just scribbled my last reply quickly between patients. The stuff I wrote about a bad Pope is not official or from any where other than my old head. It's just the scenario I have arrived at after reading about the Chastisements prophesied at Garabandal and Amsterdam and Akita and Our Lady of Good Success and La Salette and Fatima and Blessed Elena etc etc and from posts such as yours. The only unapproved one is Garabandal but I have no doubts about this which is my prerogative. I know I am a bit slow on the uptake sometimes but what is your signature?
Thank you. Just to be clear I do not add or detract anything from official revelations of Garabandal. Quito very clearly refers to a bad Pope. But not Pope Francis.
Well. just keep our eyes open then.... An enormous apostasy in the Church, the corruption of the clergy and Prelates, heresies, the abandonment of the rules in convents and monasteries, the culpability of the ecclesiastical authority for this crisis.
I think we all need to mention any thoughts of apostasy we may have ever had at the confessional as soon as possible or any ill will towards the Pope. I have mentioned dreams I have had at the confessional before and then received great advice and direction.
Yeah Quito was kept for the 20th century to stop modernists corrupting the message. What I say stands but as you know I get fed up with some people using every prophesy they can to attack Pope Francis. You did not specify Quito in your last post. Would you like to specify the dates and the exact events to which each date relates? Do you accuse Pope Francis of heresy?
No. I havent even mentioned Pope Francis. I have put forward prophecy. If you have difficulty with authentic messages from the BVM for our time ,dont get annoyed with me. Complain to Her.
I believe the BVM. I just don't like to see her messages being used in the wrong way. I believe you don't think Pope Francis is heretical. That must mean you think him orthodox. What a relief. Who do you think Quito applies to? What about those dates and events?
Do you think it is a mortal sin to publicly and falsely accuse a Pope of heresy? Would this offense mean excommunication? Would special absolution be needed for such a sin? I am not accusing you of this. Just trying to get back on thread..after you have answered my last question.
Whenever I begin to worry or wonder about what the heck is going on--in my Catholic faith or even in world events I take great solace in our Blessed Mother's words at Fatima, "In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph." Enough said!!!
If there were such a Prophet/Prophecy it/he/she would be rather like a Sea Captain who sunk their own ship. It would never be accepted by the Church authorities. They find it difficult enough to accept uncontroversial prophecy one that mentioned a bad Pope would be sunk before it even left harbour. Perhaps there are many such sunk ships in the Church's Harbour. I think the role of Prophecy is to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable. But the comfortable can only take so much affliction. Our Hierachy of course can be very comfortable. You can only hear what you are prepared to hear. Then you kill the Prophets.
This throws a totally different slant on what the Pope may have actually said. I do wonder though when he gives his judgement on Medjugorge, will it be heard or heeded? Or will Medjugorge be the means used to give a judgement on him? I am still firmly behind him though for anyone of you who may be wondering . I continue to pray for him.
