We are already into the completely one side coverage from RT e and the media. I appeal to everyone to write to RT E and the media watchdog about the one sided reporting and groupthink that is in train already.

How is this for diabolical disorientation: Fine Gael TD Kate O'Connell recounts to the Dail debate how at 20 weeks gestation her baby was diagnosed with a profound defect but the pregnancy went to term despite all the odds, her son was born with his organs almost entirely outside of his body, but he is now a healthy 5 year old child. The moral of this story, according to O'Connell? Repeal the 8th Amendment so that nobody has to go through what she went through and can abort the child conveniently in Ireland. SERIOUSLY?

Have we entered the twilight zone or what?

Why bother? The Pope said that we focus too much on abortion and Emma Bonino is a forgotten great. The Government is hoping that the Pope will visit Ireland for the world meeting of families, and we wouldn't want the Holy Father feeling the need to apologise for our lack of empathy with people who only want merciful terminations. Best to show our love by voting to repeal the 8th. That's a far more comfortable approach, keeps us in line with our separated brethren, and will spare the Holy Father any embarrassment. We might even be graced with a return visit from Cardinal Marx as he continues laying the groundwork for the Papal visit.

Yes in light of all the recent developments one would feel like giving up but we cant. Im sure many good people in Germany felt like that when they saw the rise of Hitler and felt why bother but we have to make some effort for the sake of the lives that will be lost and the stain on our country.
    Its very difficult.

The Pope didn't portray Hitler as a role model. I gave up listening to or watching RTE a long time ago. If more people who find their content biased and offensive did the same thing which would affect their advertising revenue it would be far more effective than writing to them or reporting them to some government watchdog whose ruling, even if it were positive, wouldn't be implemented until long after the damage was done.

What's the point swimming against the tide when there's every chance that Ivana Bacik will the Pope's new BFF.

Three Churches in same Donegal area have alters graffitied with satanic symbols according to Journal.ie:

'Satanic' attacks made on three churches in Donegal

THREE CHURCHES IN the same area of Donegal were targets of a ‘satanic’ attack last Sunday.

St Mary’s Church in Bocan, Culdaff, discovered that symbols had been drawn onto their altar cloths, and similar attacks were reported in two other parish churches in the area of Inishowen.

The attack at St Mary’s Church is believed to have occurred between midday and 7pm on Sunday 24 July. The incident has been reported to the gardaí and an investigation is underway at Carndonagh garda station.

Local councillor Bernard McGuinness (FG) has condemned the attacks and has called on anyone who might have noticed anything unusual to report it to the gardaí.

A curate of St Mary’s Church Bocan said in an interview with the Donegal Daily that they were shocked to find the graffiti last week.

“We’ve never had anything like this happen in Culdaff before. While I’m not unduly worried, I would urge anyone not to approach people they see hanging around the church. You just don’t know what might happen these days.”
No other similar incidents have been reported in the area recently.

Despicable as are these type of satanist, it is true to say that they are wolves in wolves' clothing and one can be in no doubt of their intentions. For all the upset they cause, and I don't wish to make light of the hurt felt by the targeted parishioners, the main effects of such contemptible actions (futile as they are against Christ Almighty) is to draw condemnation upon themselves and they might benefit from our prayers.

The wolves that do the real spiritual damage are the 'nice' ones in sheeps' clothing. And there are multitudes of them in positions of power and influence in Ireland nowadays.

More generally, satan seems to have manifested himself far more definitively in the appalling priest-martyrdom in France (the good Father apparently saw him, according to his last words) and in the brutal dragging from the altar by the luciferian police of Hollande.

I agree Degaulle, they need our prayers. They are more than likely just deceived and misguided. A lot of that satanic stuff is sold as "cool" and" trendy" but is very destructive for those involved.

I'm just after seeing a young priest who I think may be a saint this morning, here in Ireland, it's making me think. ...

They are a tragic distraction. The real agents of satan are busy trying to introduce child-sacrifice into this country, using the sick subterfuge of 'compassion' for those babies with speculated fatal defects and their vulnerable parents.

I agree DeGaulle. The "real" satanists, if you can call them that, are far more sophisticated and intelligent in their approach and are higher up the echelons. The people in the lower end are usually just naive.

I would certainly call them 'that'! This is Real. This is the Battle of Powers and Principalities. Happening right now.

As many have indicated to the "restrainer" is off and sin and wickedness seem to have picked up pace. Rarely when I watch television or listen to the radio it seems like the standard has dropped dramatically to a shocking level. I don't know have other people noticed this too.

That would be my impression too. Apart from the obvious increase in vulgarity and immorality, there has been a precipitous decline in intellectual content from what was not a very high standard and the quality of what purports to be popular music is simply appalling. There is no longer even a pretence of partiality regarding social issues on either the Irish Times (this may have changed as I have not read it for quite a while) or RTE (harder to ignore as I do not live alone). Even the hurling is going to pot.
