I wanted to share my own recent experience of how the spirit of the Lord worked and moved in my life recently. As you know by my recent prayer requests for my father in law, that he was extremely ill, he received the last rights and all hope of survival was gone, he was diagnosed with sepsis pneumonia he is 88 years old and the doctors told us he had hours to live and that they had threw every conceivable antibiotic at his infection with no result, when I chatted to the priest after he had given the last rights he told me that I should stay close to my father in law as he does not have much time, The shocker came the next day my father in law was sitting up in bed asking for something to eat, the priest was doing his rounds and was completely gobsmacked when he saw him his remark to me was faithfully simple “we witnessed a miracle”. It has been a tough couple of weeks going back and forth to the hospital but the good news is my father in law is back home and doing quite well, my wife chatted to him last night and he said that he didn’t understand why he was still alive but he has a feeling that he has two things to do before he reaches heaven when she asked him what they were he shrugged his shoulders “that’s the problem I don’t know”. My wife and I were chatting about this subject when he was in hospital we discussed why is he still here and why did he not die for me it started to become clear , with my father in law being ill my wife had to take some time of work, while I am at home on my own I never listen to the radio it’s not something I do, my wife on the other hand does and had the radio on which allowed me to hear Joby talking at length about his work my instant reaction was to call him immediately it astounded me that an old friend was on the radio talking and doing the work that I was involved in, as you may know the rest is history.. So for me the spirit does work in incredible ways I am reminded deeply that God’s plans for me are his, I just have to be alert to when he calls, maybe the reason for my father in laws illness and recovery was indeed all about Joby, maybe one of the things that my father in law had to do before he goes to heaven was indeed my work with Joby.. Praise God Alleluia
