THIS IS THE GREATEST UNHOLY SACRAMENT OF SATAN WHO IS PROWLING THIS EARTH DESTROYING THE CHURCH, THE PRIESTHOOD, THE ONCE FAITHFUL and THE LIVES OF THE UNBORN AND BORN. HE IS HERE IN OUR MIDST WITHIN THE MAN OF SIN!! This is not just plain obvious to us, we have the prophets and pope's today within the church telling us this much for 100 years now. We have been told!!

St. Pope John Paul II 1976 prophecy: "We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has ever experienced. I do not think that the wide circle of the American Society, or the whole wide circle of the Christian Community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the Antichrist. The confrontation lies within the plans of Divine Providence. It is, therefore, in God's Plan, and it must be a trial which the Church must take up, and face courageously".

Yes but the Fathers of the Church and the saints talk of 'Anti Christs' , people like Nero, or Napoleon, or Hitler.

There are two great periods of trial. The one we have embarked on which is the Minor Chastisment which is mentioned in Scripture, which we have just embarked on:

    Matthew 24:21

    The Abomination of Desolation
…20Pray that your flight will not occur in the winter or on the Sabbath. 21For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again. 22If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened.…

Then the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the Era of peace.
This followed by the Final Apostacy and the last final trial of the Church s referred to in the Cathechism when the anti Christ is revealed.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church

    The Church's ultimate trial

675 Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.

676 The Antichrist's deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope which can only be realized beyond history through the eschatological judgment. The Church has rejected even modified forms of this falsification of the kingdom to come under the name of millenarianism, especially the "intrinsically perverse" political form of a secular messianism.

677 The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection. The kingdom will be fulfilled, then, not by a historic triumph of the Church through a progressive ascendancy, but only by God's victory over the final unleashing of evil, which will cause his Bride to come down from heaven. God's triumph over the revolt of evil will take the form of the Last Judgment after the final cosmic upheaval of this passing world.

But it is possible that a foreshadowing of the anti Christ may be here. A kind of shadow of the real thing? A foreshadowing?

But I don't think it could be the anti Christ himself really. It does not fit well with Catholic Prophecy.

But I certainly don't claim to be infallible. :):) I could be wrong.

I never imagined things could get so very, very bad so quickly, in the Church and in the World. It is a true horror picture.
    Unnerving. in fact.
I do start to wonder; whatever next?

  5. There will be a precursor of the antichrist which is an antichrist too, but not the last one.

It seems that this antichrist will have close relations with Islam, what makes him a false prophet.

After the milenium there will be an antichrist who will be a catholic. We can have an antipope now but he is not the antichrist. We already had antipopes before.

But there is another theory that I heard and it says that the antichrist is alive now and he will wait in hiding until after the millenium because this person can not die, only Jesus can kill him. It is exactly what Fr Malachi Martin says in his interview on Coast to Coast am. Some satanists will survive the milllenium and will join forces at the end of it. In this theory for now we will have tribulations, an antipope and the triumph of Mary but the antichrist will not appear publicly and keep working backstage. And the millenium is not a very long time of peace.

Well there is a whole literature out there on the anti Christ in Catholic prophecy. Some of it a bit weird. I mean some of it suggests that the devil himself will be his father. Which seems a bit weird. I mean how can a Fallen Angel who is a spirit father a child to a human woman? It is impossible surely.

But I think we have a certain prefiguring of the anti Christ in the fully possessed of those who give themselves totally to Satan. People we call sociopaths or psychopaths who from their earliest days seem to do nothing but evil.

I know some people don't think the ant Christ will be a real eprson. But I think it is better to take Scripture as literally as possible. That he will be an actual person. Just the most totally evil person who ever lived or who will ever live. So in a true sense Satan's Son.

I don't know whether the Restrainer has been released although I'm inclined to believe that we haven't reached that stage yet. I'm more inclined towards the belief that things will get worse leading up to 2029 (100 years since the Fatima reminder about the King of France). By that time, I expect that whomever is Pope will be willing to try anything to sort things out, otherwise Heaven will intervene.

Fr. Rutler has release a new book "Calm In Chaos: Cataholic Wisdom For Anxious Times". In an EWTN interview, he said that we never fully recovered from WW1. Saying that the Church faces "special kind of challenge" every 500 years, the first example he gave was the collapse of the Roman Empire; 500 years later was the East/West schism in the Church; and 500 years after that came the Protestant revolt. He said that those political and ecclesiastical problems are combining in "a great moral confusion". He said that the current crisis is the greatest in modern times, puts it down to ignorance and a lack of faith (including inside the Church).

He touches on a lot of topics, including poor education, pseudo Catholic colleges and "make a mess" and points out that the only living signatory of the Land O'Lakes document has been removed from the College of Cardinal (I think he means Archbishop McCarrick). He reminds us that while faith without works is in vain, good works are never a substitute for faith. He writes off liberal Protestantism for emphasising manners over morals, a mistake which has found its way into the Catholic Church. He says that the great challenge now is either the Holy Catholic Church or secularism, that's all there is with nothing in between.

He warns against panic and knee jerk reactions, reminding us to trust that God never sleeps. Logic and not chaos or panic is from the Logos (God). It beats me that Fr. Rutler is a parish priest while we have Cardinals Cupich, Tobin, Cocopalmiero, Paglia and Maradiaga. Here's a link to the interview:

I must watch this later. The good Father reminds me of a gentler mor polite, more civilised, more erudite and insightful world long gone. He is one of those people you could listen to all day and never tire.

    Olde worlde charm.

I was thinking of Fr Rutler when walking down town mass today. I saw a large slogan,

    'Support ANTIFA',

painted on the wall. But it occurred to me that before opposing Fascism you must have some idea what Fascism actually is. I don;t think most people who are in, say ANTIFA actually oppose Fascism they should give people or opinions the name , 'Fascist' and take it from there. They like the ide of being ANTIFA rather than being actually against Fascism. Thus they would say that someone like me who happens to be a Catholic opposed to abortion and sexual perversion a, 'Fascist' and not actually know what a Fascist is. It is like a game. The love the idea of being ANTIFA as a kind of game; like supporting a football team.

But this kind of thought you can find all over. I heard of a young Jewish girl who went home and told her parents she was thinking of becoming a Catholic. Being good Orthodox Jews they were totally horrified at the very idea. So they called a married couple good Catholic friends in to talk her out of it. This pair spent ages trying to talk this young girl out of becoming a Catholic because it would hurt her parents so much. Well of course if this husband and wife had known much at all about truly being Catholic they would have been down on their knees encouraging this young girl to convert.

But it seems to me that in the Church most Catholics don;t actually know what it means to be Catholic. This of course is a horrible thing to say but it is the truth. ..and I include many, many Catholic Cardinals, Bishops and priests in this.. They have their very own ideas about being what being a Catholic means , but it is only their won ideas. They make it up as they go along.

So no wonder there is this huge feeling of being lost, a sense of chaos. There is a total loss of the sense of the truth being objective. Of being real. So we enter and Alice in Wonderland world of unreality. Of chaos and madness, in fact.

As little Dorothy said to her dog Toto in the Wizard of Oz, 'This isn't Kansas'. Is sure ain't.
