A movie I ran across on Amazon Prime that others might be interested in and I found to be surprisingly deep given that Amazon rarely offers much content worth watching. The movie is based on the true story of the German attempt to gain the support of the Church to its movement via a priest (based on the diary of Father Jean Bernard 1907–1994) who is incarcerated and sent from Dachau labor camp to his Bishop who refuses to cooperate with the Nazi's in Luxembourg. He is given 9 days to accomplish the task of gaining his support or he must return to the camp and his fate. The movie is much deeper than the plot however and explores the story of Judas role from opposing sides as well as touching on the role of the Pope and his influence on the lives of his sheep during the war. It is a German language film however so it is subtitled. Worth a watch.
