I always appreciate your comments and your steering of this forum. Well, things may appear certain now but may not continue on the current trajectory. There might be a serious cataclysmic shift. The Pope prophecy of St. Malachy / St. Philip Neri would support that there will be a maasive turn, of course this prophecy is questionable. Many people here are praying a 54-day novena for the arrival of a holy prelate according to our Lady of Good Success.
Our Lady of Good Success is 100% Carat Gold I keep returning to read the literature and watch the videos over and over and over again. One Great Sign of Truth of these is that a large number of the nuns from the convent who died, their bodies remain incorrupt up until the present day. Saints in every generation of the convent. Where else would you get it? (The Convent and clergy here appear to be Tradionalist in form?) Apparently in Equador and in the city of Quito itself these prophesies and even the convent itself is scarcely known. Astonishing. But Our Lady foretold this. I really would love to go on pilgrimage there but it is so very, very far away and would be hugely expensive. But personally, that Prophesy of a Great Pope is the one I tend to hone in on at the moment.. (They appear to be very Traditionalist?)
As a one-time student of Spanish, I have long been confused as to why 'Nuestra Senora del Buen Suceso' is usually translated into English as 'Our Lady of Good Success' which is clearly inaccurate. The Spanish word for success is 'exito'. Suceso means an event, incident or happening. It should be translated as something like 'Our Lady of the Good Event' which hopefully provides confirmation as to a happy outcome of the current sorry situation in the world and the Church.
I had an interesting dream last night. I was trying to contact priests to encourage them to spread devotion to the rosary and the scapular in their parishes, but it was falling on deaf ears. One priest came to my home to talk but as I was bringing up the rosary and scapular, he kept changing the topic in very worldly and unsettling ways. The dream then pivoted to another scene where I experienced a sort of symbolic display of the upheaval happening in the world right now. I was discouraged and called out, "Why is this happening?" Mary appeared and told me to not be afraid...to be encouraged, because the upheaval is a sort of trembling before a very important conversion. I then saw as if in a vision, St. Augustine rising from the turbulence. He looked radiant and triumphant. I woke up understanding it was symbolic...not literally St. Augustine, but a great conversion of someone or many? I seem to recall noticing St. Monica standing in the turbulence that represented the current world. Perhaps Mary was reminding me that we are called to be St. Monica right now, standing in the gap praying for the conversion of the world, and more specifically, the restoration of the Church and its clergy.
The "Good Event" in her title refers to the Purification of Mary and the Presentation of Jesus in the temple.
Our Pastor has taken to placing scapulars on some of the doors of the church. I know he finds traditionalism endearing to him while he is our Novus Ordo priest, I have no problem with that.
Padraig didn't you receive a "word of knowledge" once about the coming of a very holy pope? I seem to recall it but maybe I am wrong.
In Catholic Prophecy news about a Great Pope and Great Monarch appears to be everywhere. I did receive a Word about this Pope when I was 15, from St Michael the Arcangel , let's see about 51 years ago. But when I told my Spiritual Director about it he simply burst out laughing because it seemed to him so ridiculous. So that was that I dropped the thing, I didn't want folks laughing at me. However many, many years later I went to Confession with another Passionist Priest, long after my Spiritual Director was dead and something he said made me understand that my Spiritual Director may have changed his mind before he died, though he never said so to me.. In either case I don't really see how we are going to get out of this really huge hole we have dug ourselves into in the Church without a Great Pope as Prophesied.

Yes. I listened. It is frightening. Especially when he explains how they really truly believe in all things changing all the time and the necessity of going with the times. He refers to Hegel being the one who started it. His explanation of how modernist so called church men approach biblical scholarship is horrifying too.

Oh geezzz, these priest that are leading souls astray….they really need prayers. Their accountable before God is so much greater. If they don’t believe the dogma of the church then why become priest. It truly is a infiltration…but God allowed Judas in His time, why are we surprised that today’s Judas’s exist? Pray they repent.
Now, in our Archdiocese, I think they have common homes for all of the Priests, say 3 or 4 will live under one roof. Also, I note, our Pastor at the Church that has an elementary school as well seems on the clock, will be gone, I'd say 1 out of every 8 weekends. I think now, the Archdiocese, whether we know it or not, is keeping a keen eye on things. It just takes one priest, a few acts, maybe one and the Archdiocese can be sued. You know, I can name names but I don't think this is the place for that. In a private conversation here, I even showed this member a deposition a priest had to give on youtube. It's a hard road to hoe. But things we do know, such as this with the Latin Mass that is causing ripples or this with Former Cardinal McCarrick, I do think these matters need to be discussed. It's just my guess but I think as I said earlier, the Church, some as where I live, is trying to watch what happens because they know the ramifications. It's not uncommon to hear of especially "youth pastors" preying on teenaged girls, in the Protestant world. The final Protestant denom I joined (2010; husband's former) was filled with wolves who dropped the "nice, unassuming, reserved sort of guy" mask after I officially joined. I'd never encountered such a thing before. Most men in Protestant churches that I knew GROWING UP (1970s/1980s) were faithful to their wives or at least didn't "wolf out" ON church grounds.
As a general statement, as I have said a few times before, this is why I think those in authority, whether they are with a scout troop or a pastor at a church, should be 35 years or older and that's not a cure-all either. We human beings are just weak in these matters. I think the Scouts have some guidelines to try to prevent mishaps (yes, apparently, it doesn't always work). Our Priest is probably 35-39, I don't know his exact age but I get the impression they sat him on the sidelines (assistant priest to a parish prior) before he took the helm and even then, there seems to be a clear divide between the school and church which is also probably another safety measure.
