St Louis de Montfort tells a wonderful story of a man who mocked and slandered the Rosary, and God permitted 15,000 devils to possess the man. Our Lady appeared to St Dominic who stood before the man, ready to exorcise him, and told him to pray the Rosary. With each Hail Mary that he and the crowd said, 100 devils were released, until the Rosary was finished, the man was freed of devils. St Louis said that they came out in the form of red-hot coals. Such is the marvelous power of Our Blessed Lady over the forces of evil. Shane
