I started recently to pray for the gift of a deeper love. However one thing after another began to surface to test my patience! In my prayer time I felt the Lord say this is how our gifts are given and received, by little tests to help us be aware of our short comings and to remedy them. This could be true of whatever gifts we are praying for, He will allow the opposite to test and strengthen us. It is in the exercising of the gifts that we become strong in them. A test or crisis will always reveal what we truly believe regardless of how many scripture verses we know by heart.
