I think this is just one of many error's that Russia's communism has brought about in America. Hollywood is another and one could go on and on. I think Mark Mallett was spot on in his two articles on America as being Babylon the Great and being the Harlot of Revelations that has been taking a free ride on the beast even though the beast hates the Harlot it had to use it to spread its power of corruption around the world. America grew great and under the veil, evil as well. Its societies and organizations were growing each decade as they used the freedom to spread its apostasy over time and finally into the ranks of clergy and the sex scandals.

 

This is exactly why I stopped reading Mark's blog. When he adopted this Protestant garbage it was enough for me.

The Republican US Sen. Jeff Flake from Arizona just announced that he won't run for re-election in 2018, he just finished making a speech on the Senate Floor and he took every possible shot at President Trump. President Trump referred to him at the Arizona rally a few weeks ago, as missing in action, etc.

Just like US Senator Bob Corker, Jeff Flake spoke of a lack of truth related to this presidency, etc. The word is, a real attempt to have President Trump impeached may be in the works...

This comes after Steve Bannon's comments that put the Republicans under fire and is occurring after Dem. Rep. Federica Wilson's comments recently and the war of words between her and the president.

BTW, there have already been a few democratic congressman who have suggested that the President is impeached - you are probably aware of this though.

Interesting timing to announce his "retirement". Interesting as well that President Jimmy Carter came out last week saying that he could work with Trump and that he has gotten the worst rap from the media of any modern president.

Meanwhile Hillary was condemning Wikileaks as colluding with Russia two days before it is announced that the Clinton Foundation has taken 140 million from Russia. I wonder who has documents relating to this? I wonder who else will surface as using the CF to launder their money. I bet we will be surprised when it all comes out in the wash.

None of this is coincidental. He isn't retiring, he's being let out to pasture. I expect more will as well.

 

This IS improving though Carol. US politics is a dirty affair. None of the people involved with the swamp are going to go willingly off into the night. They all will kick and scream the entire way.

Sorry Fatima I missed your post. I was a Protestant from the age of 17 to 47 and this whole notion of the US being the WoB was conjured up by Protestant ministers and their cracker jack theologians and has always sold a whole lot of books just like the rapture nonsense. I read a bunch of them in my youth. The two most popular targets for this title are the Catholic Church and America. I wonder why.

I was a pretty avid reader of Mark's and I still do read some of his articles from time to time. I do not think that he is very inspired in a prophetic sense however and it is precisely because of ideas such as this. I do find some of his writing very inspirational however, especially that cpncerning Our Lady. It is clear that he has a deep devotion to Her.

 

If the situation was not so dire for the USA and the rest of the Planet, I would say grab some Popcorn and "Watch a Fun Show"! There are already signs that The Left is poised to throw Billary under de bus .... especially in light of the Hollywood Sex Abuse Scandals that only dredge up visions of Slick Willie's Escapades. Don, I am aware of protestant theories. I am also aware the US has played the biggest role in the degradation of the sexual revolution with all its porn industry, including Hollywood and its promotion of adultery, fornication, co-habituation, sodomy, transsexual etc..., all the while driving the culture of impurity, violence and godless shows, movies and lifestyles that oppose the commandments of God. This entertainment industry brought the world a perversion of the Gospel larger than anything else in the homes and lives of everyone in the free world. Seeing this aspect of America in the light of being the Whore of Babylon is not exclusively Protestant and even if it were, many Protestants are good and faithful people who see the abominations more clearly than most Catholic clergy and laity. When I read Mark's blog's, I do this pondering them in the light of God's truth. If Protestant truth is in the light of Catholic truth, which is in the light of God's truth then I am all for it. In the case of the US being the whore of Babylon, I have no doubt that it is and has been for 50 years. I am glad faithful Catholics like Mark Mallett can help open the eye's of all the veils of deceit in the world and I think his two blogs on Babylon are of his finest writings to ponder upon.

I'm going to say something about Protestant so called truth. It doesn't exist. Protestants have ripped books from the Holy Bible, openly mock the Sacred Tradition of the Church, the Pope, Our Lady, Our Lord, and even themselves persecuted the Saints. They ignore that which does not suit them and their designs. They can't help themselves. That does not mean that I don't love them.
