At the least, we will not have a long time until we determine if Locutions is credible or not. The same with Charlie Johnston, who I much prefer.

LTTW: before the end of the year, an event will occur which will forever change the structure of society as we know it. Still 5 months to go to establish if Locutions are authentic or not.

The question isn't "will the event occur" but "will we recognize it when it happens".

I suspect Locutions is loquacious enough to surely tell us when the "event" arrives.

The real question is: will the event occur?

If yes, then it will be something which will change the structure of our society forever, according to LTTW, as it clearly stated many times during the beginning of this year and at the end of the previous one.
If no, Locutions won't be authentic.

So, supposing that the event will occur, then the real question won't be if we'll recognize it when it happens. Because, when it'll happen, we'll recognize it for sure. It'll be something which we'll discuss about in the following months, or years, even if we would live miles apart. To sum up the message, after this event, life won't be the same anymore. According to LTTW.

During the last year, I've had a personal feeling that something really big will happen in USA before the end of the year. Words that comes into my mind: terrorism (or terror), economics.

I would say even if a big event occurs by the end of the year, it won't necessarily prove LTTW is authentic, since so many other sources are predicting the same thing, even secular sources.

Here's the current headline on Drudge. My wife just messaged me this and I think she's spot on:
check out the top story headline on Drudge - wouldn't that be the ultimate irony? the apple was a symbol of the fall of mankind and Apple could cause the fall of the economy… a coincidence? we don't believe in those…

We are in a spiritual battle - but we know who wins in the end! Let us pick up our Rosaries and pray, pray, pray. If praying one Rosary a day - pray two; if two - then pray three; if three - pray four. We need to help Our Blessed Mother to step on the head of the enemy. As Padre Pio said, "Pray, hope and don't worry!" All is in the Hands of God and He knows how to turn evil into good.

  9. The Church doesn't approve on-going "apparitions" (taking 'apparitions' as a global term for spiritual manifestations here) for a reason: she doesn't grant carte blanche to any "above nature" phenomena. And I think she is very wise in this.

I don't thing that something life changing that might -or may not- occur before the end of the year can in any way prove that the locutions come from God. We need to be careful when we discern things.

It is much easier to have a label and spare ourselves the trouble of discernment. But that's not what Scripture tells us to do, neither is what Jesus did and taught us to do.

Personally I started being quite fond of the Locutions TTW. But after three years of daily messages I have stopped reading them altogether. I've had enough "self advertisement" on how important these locutions are. I think that they have some truly wonderful, inspired, and inspiring messages, but I also think that there is some interference running along among them.

I hope that the -very respectful- priest who is supporting them, is not allowing himself to run things by "the label".

Msgr. Esseff has had a wonderful career of service to the Lord and the Church. He is quite old now, in his late 80s, I believe. As far as I can tell, he is no longer listed on the website as director.

Of course, the local bishop is the one in a diocese who makes an official determination on the authenticity of any messages, not a pastor or spiritual director. Bishops usually, although not always, wait until a series of messages or events have run their course.

It's not so easy. LTTW predicted this in detail starting from the previous mid-December. Particularly:
2015 will be quite different. Even in the first six months of the year, new and different events will break through. However, not to the extent that life is totally disrupted. It will seem like these problems have been adequately responded to so that normal life can continue, even though limited.

In the Fall, however, the great problems will break forth and all will see that human life has seriously changed. This will be the mood as the year comes to an end.

    http://www.locutions.org/2014/12/3-the-year-2015/

    and again:

In the early months [of 2015], new flood waters will break through. There will be human responses that seemingly work for a time limiting the effects. It is only in the latter months of the year that the great floods come and continue for the first half of 2016.

    http://www.locutions.org/2014/12/4-one-hundred-years-of-fatima/

    and again:

A shaking will take place [in 2015], followed by a settling. Then a second shaking that will be more serious. By the end of the year, life will be much different.

    http://www.locutions.org/2014/12/7-the-new-year/

    and again:

Before any harm takes place, there will be a sweeping away of protections. People will realize that former safeguards no longer exist. What they trusted to support them in need is no longer available.

This will begin in the economic fields and in the collapse of governmental protection of currencies. This shaking of confidence will then result in actual harm. As people take steps to insure their futures, everything will tighten up. The flow of money will be restricted. Jobs will be threatened and lost. No one will be in control. Steps will be taken that are inadequate. Only as time goes on, will people see the deep divide between what used to be and what is. This is the first stage. The changes will be long-lasting but not total or deep. People will think that the crisis is over, and that all they must do is to cut back somewhat. Many will be chastened and will try to respond by some austerity.

However, all of this is just a beginning. It is the second economic shock that will bring about the deep divide, the permanent and non-reversible change that will awaken everyone to the great reality that the past years of buying without paying, of procuring without accepting the price has led to this moment. Once these two sets of economic events take place, the first set of the warnings and the second set of the actual breaking off, the world, for the first time, will truly see the path of darkness. I say this because my words will be the only light. That is why I speak.

    http://www.locutions.org/2015/03/6-the-two-economic-events/

In my opinion, the first shaking of this year has obviously been the Greece crisis, which occurred during the first 6 months of this year and which reached its peak toward the end of June. If Greece opted for a grexit, then it would have been a really big problem for us. But, as we know, now the situation seems to have stabilized, because apparently a solution has been found. Anyway, I would add other two shakings, too, which recently occured:

    - Medium: China.
    - Little: USA NYSE trading.

    Bonus:
    - Puerto Rico
    - Ukraine

Please post a message with a list of the many other seers which, according to you, predicted in detail these two shakings before LTTW, thank you.

I never said that these Locutions would be approved by the Church if their predicted events will occur, but for sure we'll have to keep not one, but two eyes on them.

I feel no need to do this, Pijon. Neither Greece nor the stock exchange, nor China, Puerto Rico, etc. are mentioned specifically.

I stopped reading Locutions when the writer(s) said the Cardinals would take a long time to choose a new pope; that the pope would be a hidden figure, unknown to the wide world; and that he would take as one of his first orders of business the consecration of Russia.

Francis was chosen fairly quickly. He was hardly unknown: he had received the second largest number of ballots at the time Benedict was elected. Francis has not hurried up and consecrated Russia.

He also survived that historic trip to Jerusalem...

Don't forget, though, that Apple has enough cash in reserve that a couple of months ago there was semi-serious talk of Apple buying the country of Greece, which would have given Greece enough cash to pay off all the money it owes the EU

I don't think one event will authenticate LTTW, as many other, more believable messengers speak of this as well and being a copy-cat does not validate a messenger.

I also stopped reading the LTTW messages quite a while ago: as I have become increasingly familiar with what is being said and how it is being said prophetically through various sources internationally, the more these ones strike me as being problematic. Basically there is a very strong sense of coherence both in message and tone between the most theologically substantial locutions both around the nations and over the decades: whether you are reading Concepcion Cabrera de Armida, Gabrielle Bossis, Elizabeth Kindelmann, Ottavio Michelini, Don Gobbi, Agustin del Divino Corazon, Sulema, Francine Bériault or Edson Glauber, the sense that it is the same heavenly inspiration at work (whether in the words of Jesus or Our Lady) is pretty much unmistakable. By comparison LTTW really sounds quite different, even jarring, and this requires some explanation. That's not to say that there isn't a high degree of truth content here, just that it seems more likely that this is the result of 'private meditation' and background reading of other prophetic sources rather than genuine revelation (I don't see evidence of anything genuinely pre-cognitive, for example).

Pretty well every authentic Catholic prophetic source there is is pointing to a key event before the end of the year.

It wouldn't be hard to pick up on, even for the devil.

This is precisely the problem ... there is definitely a sort of 'prophetic overheating' going on at the moment due to the fact that so many alleged prophecies, dreams and visions have flooded the internet and are doubtless firing the imaginations of a good number of well-meaning but naïve people who are having trouble in sifting out their own subjectivity. In the charismatic Evangelical/Pentecostal world this is particularly evident due to the lack of any objective criteria for discernment (basically nobody can stop anyone else from declaring themselves a 'prophet(ess'). What makes things still more confusing is that there are now any number of websites which are generating the wildest hypotheses about coming events by combining the most disparate sources into a heady cocktail of the good, the bad and the ugly - and I mean literally anything from St Malachy, Padre Pio or Malachi Martin to theories about reptilians/the return of the Nephilim and my grandma's dream about Planet X.

One of the results of this feeding frenzy is to have closed the ears of many otherwise reasonable Christians to any talk whatever of prophecy or the 'end times'. Of course I am wholly convinced that a perfectly rational and theologically-grounded case can be made out that we are indeed at the 'end of the age', but the effect of much fundamentalist rant has made this much more difficult than it ought to be. Especially at a media-drenched time where those who are prepared to make the effort of careful reading and the work of patient, prayerful discernment unfortunately seem to be few and far between.
