One thing about a Our Lady, I think; I could never ever imagine her getting angry, she is so gentle and kind. I have found it so much easier in following her to keep my cool and a very good sense of humour.

Our Lady still comes caling, I like to believe if she still calls there is still hope. Its is she stops calling and begging I'll get a lot more uptight. But then a good mother never does give up on her children. This is a source of great hope. In this world we all of us still have choices, lets pray we make the right ones....

It is clearer to see reality when we attempt to take our view from God's perspective. I believe you are right in saying this whole affair in Wisconsin is ultimately a spiritual battle. However, satan weaves his web of deceit and destruction through human agency. For instance, a lack of balance in reporting the news can sway a reader into making false assessments. The highlighted area from your above quote is an indication of one-sided newsspeak.

Since Pope Leo XIII's Rerum Novarum in the late 1800s, the Church's support of labor movements has been clear and forthright. Still,I think Michael Voris' perspective on the highjacking of the labor movement contains truth. Satan has done much highjacking in the last 200 years. Just as he has destroyed the family by promoting a contraceptive mentality, so he has perverted, to a large extent, a labor movement that once fought for justice. It is now bent on power and greed and is in cahoots with the political elitists.

What is important for those of us who take prayer seriously, is to perceive how the spirit of lawlessness is at work in the places in which we live. In the Middle East it involves immediate revolutions which appear ready to spread. In the United States, the economic crisis spreading through the individual states is the catalyst that will lead to upheaval and chaos. I believe it is the precursor of your icons. Prayer warriors must beseech God for wisdom in how to pray in these dire circumstances. Our prayers will triumph, though we can't see to what end right now.

What comes to mind is the meeting of the Sanhedrin after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, as recorded in John 11.

47 So the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered the council, and said, "What are we to do? For this man performs many signs. 48 If we let him go on thus, every one will believe in him, and the Romans will come and destroy both our holy place and our nation." 49 But one of them, Ca'iaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them, "You know nothing at all; 50 you do not understand that it is expedient for you that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation should not perish."

The Romans did come and destroy, but it was due to the rejection of Christ. Caiaphas had looked at things humanly, not supernaturally. Isn't this exactly what grieves Mary as she related this past Wednesday:

Dear children; My motherly heart suffers tremendously as I look at my children who persistently put what is human before what is of God.

Let us pray that the veil of spiritual blindness which covers the eyes of the peoples be rent so that millions of souls may be saved. It's time we do some reverse highjacking! Come Lord Jesus!

I believe Terry, behind a lot of what is happening are evil forces that are stirring up trouble. these forces do not care at all the rights or wrongs of the disagreement itself. Nor do they take sides; they only mean harm, not only to America but to the entire planet.

This is my prayerful sense of things and why Mary is sent from heaven with so much urgency, because those who have planed such harm are so very,very close to reaching their goal.

In th Middle East for instanc ,many Western Commentators see the protests as a movement towards Democracy. But I wonder in my heart if it is not a movement towards chaos. There is what lies on the surface of things and that which lurks beneath. If people would only pray more they might see beneath the surface of such events and question them more..I do not believe that all that is happening is simply a coincidence. But of course its impossible for we ordinary people ,observing at a distance to prove this. I hope one day history and the Light of God's holy Spirit will shine much light on these dark places.

Ephesians 6, 12 : "For we struggle not against flesh and blood, but against the kingdoms, against the powers, against the world leaders of this darkness, against spiritual wickedness in the high places".

 

The enemy is a malicious force and hates humanity with a vengeance and wants the destruction of the earth. Ivan once said that if our Lady had not appeared at Medjugorje that we would have destroyed ourselves already, therefore we all owe our lives to our Lady of All Graces.

I agree Terry that there are right and wrongs involved in Wisconsin and elsewhere. In Ireland for instance we anted the Vote and anend to discrimination in jobs and housing, which were very basic human rights.

However there was a real black cloud of hate and bitterness came down to us, which looking back down the years which I recognise was evil. An unwillingless to understand and listen to each others point of view, a distortion a fear a kind of frenzy.

I notice from reports in Rwanda nd Bosnia a similiar thing happened to them there. In fact I notice lately in Rwanda its starting up again. People can have geniune issues and causes which they must take up, but I think they can be hi jacked and unless we pray we are no longer alert to this. I think anger, rage is a key doorway whci hthe devil can use in this. We start to think, 'The other side' is all evil , rather than simply imstaken in their views and things take of like a rocket ship...

 

I just wrote a whole explanation and erased it. Padraig right- its the devil just messing around with us and we should remember that many innocent folks get caught up in the evil, to focus on the hardships that people are going through and have empathy. I used to belong to that union (for 6 years) and I can tell you that Micheal is not wrong in his assessment but the point Padraig made was correct. We are all getting caught up in a lot of evil being done- and many times people aren't even aware of where it came from or how it came about. We just need to pray, pray, pray for all effected by this economic crash and pray that people value each other enough to pray for each other and use that tool to get out of this mess. Only God can fix this mess we made.
Micheal is right to focus on what we can do to stand up for what is right- the union in Wisconsin is horribly powerful and is crippling the government, but that's secular stuff (maybe thats why he said the Bishops should've said nothing- but then he championed the Madison Bishop who is agreeing with the governor). More important was his recent trip to the Phillipines, Micheal powerfully told the story of the evil going on there and about the great example of a group of Bishops with their eye on the ball. I'm so proud of them in their stength! That is the type of story that is clearly one to take a stand on.

I think everybody is right...LOL how's that for not taking sides! Padraig, I agree with the most, but we must all do whatever we feel is right to stand up for what we feel is right. I do agree that sometimes Michael wanders away from the spiritual and goes a little too far into the political, he gets hung up on the events vs. the underlying meaning for my taste now and then. But he is doing the best he can in this crazy world we are living in. Even I get upset and throw stones once in a while (who, me?..LOL). Gotta work on that some more.

In thinking hard about the messages and the warning and miracle and the dates for these, I got to thinking, why do we talk as if the dates are viable? They are not, they are what they are, and they are in Mirjana's head, and Conchita's head, and on the parchment that Mirjana keeps. They are written, they are unchanging. Some of us pray for the warning to come, I am a huge one for doing that...we ask God to bring it or some ask God not to bring it yet. Though we may change circumstances and severity of chastisements, nothing we can say or do, no prayer we can utter, will change the dates of the things written in the minds of the visionaries or on the parchment. The dates are the proof to glue it all together. So I am trying to change my wording as I pray now, to keep that in mind. If we believe these prophecies, then since the first time the timing of the warning was told to a visionary, be it St Faustina or someone we do not even know about, or an icon given to Padraig, it was set. So why do we get so riled up, and speculate so much, why do those of us who know what is coming get so worked up at the signs all around us? We should be praying for them to be less severe, praying for them to be understood for what they are by more people, spreading that message, praying for them to strengthen our faith, instead of destroying it...that would defeat satan in his tracks. Am I making sense? I don't know how to rightly say this, I am saying that I think people need to shift their prayer about trying to stop these things from happening (and soon to happen) instead to praying about their fruits, to alter their results...right? :?:

 

Padraig, Have you read Mark Mallett's latest blog on the Seven Seals of Revolution? I spent time with him at the California conference. We sat at the kitchen table and talked. I am suppose to send him some things. This latest blog is so right on! He cried on stage, he yelled! He is not like that, but he had been shown that morning profound things and he was sincerely shook up. I also spoke with him regarding Fr. Gobbi's messages and our Lady opening the book of Revelation. The seals are explained clearly. I can see them unfold too. He has been given a very important role as a John the Baptist of our times in N. America.

I am very,very surprised he is not getting loads more publicity on your side of the Ocean.

I saw a CD of his in the Marytown gift shop. I was a little suprised as I have never seen anything of his in a Catholic gift shop before. They also had peace rosaries and some other items from Medjugorje in there too...made me feel even more at home.

 

He actually said the seals are no less than what happened in Rwanda. Evil taking over. That is why we MUST consecrate ourselves to our Lady's Immaculate Heart and pray for others. Michael Brown so eloquently has put the pieces together regarding what happens when our Lady comes to town....war, genocide ect. comes afterward. (which is why she came to prevent it...duh. )

 

Praying and fasting is very powerful, which is why Our Lady continues to ask us to do this. We can change hardened hearts, alleviate what is to come and even to the point of them mitigated. Personally, we're not past the point of no return yet, although it's very close to that point. There is still hope until the first secret is revealed. Once the secrets begin to unfold, it will be too late, and all we can do then is continue to pray, pray, pray. So, my little weak faith tells me to not give up and keep trying. There's still hope. I pray that Gowipp give me the grace to make this Lent my best yet for my conversion and for the conversion of the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowdul passion have metcy on us and on the whole.world!

Yes, our prayers can alter and mitigate the scope of the chastisements. No cry of our hearts goes unheeded by Our Abba! There is one area in which I don't quite agree with you. The dates on the parchments are unalterable, but I believe that all our prayers right up to the day of each date's announcement, have determined that date. LOL! So I continue to beg God for the perfect timing of his judgments, that the most souls may be saved! Maranatha!

In general I agree with this statement. The unions are crippling the government and is one of the root causes for our deficiet. I don't think people like Michael is wrong to cover these topics, as what's happening in Wisconsin has also been on covered by EWTN radio pretty regularly. But I also see the hand of stan, stirring things up as Padraig said. It seems to come down to power and money, which is the same old situation as the beginning of time...it's just different players that are being stirred up!

 

I so agree. We just need to pray- and not worry so much about why since we are all getting caught up in his web of deciet. I find it so hard to place blame anywhere but upon him that is so evil. There are professional protestors in WI that are keeping the evil going right now.(sad to say I know this because I used to go to protests in Madison myself).

You are talking about the seals of Revelation and I haven't quite figured out how to address someone's topic without just hitting the reply button, so if someone is interested in the seals of revelation they REALLY SHOULD go to Mark Mallett's web blog for all of March and start from the beginning and work their way up. He has some incredible insight and he is right on the button!!
