Kathy, my time on the internet has reduced a lot recently, even this forum I just dip into.
There was a time when the 'hot' threads would have hooked me but now I just don't go there - it's like watching the guests to a banquet deciding they've actually been invited to a hunting party instead and they're overturning the barns looking for something to kill and eat, rather than waiting for the meal to be prepared for them.

Private emails & PM have their place but I would love if the public witness given by you and Lynn was maintained on here - for selfish reasons, and just for the witness you give.
God forbid that even on this forum Christians would be seen as predominantly divided and argumentative.
I relish the peace you and Lynn bring - no disrespect intended to any others living in the Will, but the two of ye always impress me with your peaceful attitude.

Thanks Border for starting this thread - I've often felt like God was beating me around the head with a wet fish called Living in the Divine Will but I still didn't get it. Already this thread has helped me.
God bless those who yearn for peace, make peace, and model peace.
    Love you all!

I keep thinking about Charlie J's admonishment to man our own station, and not meddle in the work assigned to another. My mission is not to engage in fruitless arguments - it robs me of peace, is a waste of time, and is not pleasing to the Lord or the Blessed Mother.

But this thread...Ahhhhh!!!! I so appreciate all here, and what you bring to the table. This IS the family business: living in the Divine Will and praying BIG prayers for humanity - a soul saving mission!

This woman's messages have always resonated with me, even though I'm puzzled that she's a "former" Catholic. But God can do whatever He wants...

Isaiah 60 has been running in my heart for some time now:

" Arise! Shine, for your light has come,

the glory of the LORD has dawned upon you.

    Though darkness covers the earth,

    and thick clouds, the peoples,

Upon you the LORD will dawn,

and over you his glory will be seen."

    Also, this one:

"I consider that the suffering of this present time are nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us. For creation awaits with eager expectation the revelation of the children of God; for creation was made subject to futility, not of its own accord but because of the one who subjected it, in hope that creation itself would be set free from slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that all creation is groaning in labor pains even until now; and not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, we also groan within ourselves as we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies."

    Romans 8: 18-23

    Lynnfiat,
Sounds to me that Jesus is saying that because of our lack of bringing our will in line or in unity of God's Will we can not feel and see the rays of beauty that could penetrate our being. When He says that we need to remove the "torpor of our human will" which is a state of inactivity in our physical, mental, or spiritual thoughts and actions. This could be our sinful pride, self centeredness or hardheartedness that would not allow us the knowledge of God and His infinite love for us. We need to stay and walk in Sanctifying grace to be able to know whether it is our will or God's will in all we do and face daily so we can be open only to His rays of grace and mercy.

What do others here understand in these messages, that I can attach to my own thoughts or view in a different direction?

    Fatima,
I planted grass seed three weeks ago and I pondered why did not all the seed come up and create bright green blades. Did I not give them all of them the nourishment that I could give. The light shown upon them and the water fell from the sky, yet some never came forth. Was there to much stress upon them? Do I need to lay good seed again to show the tentative ones how to grow? Is there still hope for those small seeds to take root? Oh, how I wished they all would come forth.

I believe this is what our Father is feeling and so much more so! "Out of My infinite mercy I will allow calamity and distress of nations. We sure see this distress happening across the nations. I do this because of My love. I do this to bring more souls to Me. Events and situations that are seemingly out of control, insanity and such evil, know that My hand is in this too. I will use all of this to turn cold hearts back to Me. Pray like you have never prayed before. There is nothing more important than praying for the souls that will soon perish, for it is in your prayers that My mercy is extended and My hand of grace reaches out to them. Pray for the lost.
Pray for this radical faith I speak of.
This speaks to me as living in God's Divine Will. Pray for courage and steadfastness. Plant your feet upon the Rock. You will not be shaken. Set your eyes upon Me. Hold fast to all of the truths that I have taught you. Do not be frightened. Do not be afraid when all of this befalls this earth. Men's hearts will fail them because of what they see. But you My people have been warned, you have been prepared, for I always tell My people what I am about to do.

The human will builds a wall around us that keeps out the Light of the Divine Will. It is mostly pride that keeps us from living in His Will, we need to break down these walls and open to His Light - then "all will be as new" and we will see things as we have never seen before. Oh, the beauty of living in His Volition!

In order for the seed to grow several conditions must occur. The seed must be good, it has to fall on good soil and it needs the right amount of sun light and rain. I think our life is allot like that. To much of anything and not enough of somethings makes our soul weak.

Next time don't sow your seed under that big evergreen tree and it will grow ;)

    To understand union and unity:
“My daughter, my Will possesses the unity, and one who lives in It lives in this unity. And do you know what unity means? It means one – a one which can embrace everything and everyone, and can give everything, because it encloses everything. My Divine Will possesses the unity of love and of all loves united together; It possesses the unity of sanctity and encloses all sanctities; It possesses the unity of beauty and encloses within Itself everything beautiful that is possible and imaginable. In sum, It encloses the unity of light, of power, of goodness, of wisdom. True and perfect unity, while being one, must possess everything, and this everything must be all of an equal strength, all immense and infinite, eternal, without beginning and without end. Therefore, one who lives in It lives within the immense and gigantic waves It possesses, in such a way that the soul feels the empire of the one strength of light, of sanctity, of love, etc. So, in this one strength, everything is light for her, everything changes into sanctity, into love, into power, and all things bring her the knowledge of the wisdom of this unity. Therefore, to live in It is the greatest miracle and the perfect carrying out of the Divine Life in the creature. The word unity means everything, and the soul takes everything by living in It.”
Book of Heaven, Vol. 23, Oct. 16, 1927

And to Conchita (Concepcion Cabrera de Armida) Jesus explains about union and unity (From Union to Unity, Conchita's Diary pg. 223):
"There are many progressive degrees in the transformation. The highest degree on earth corresponds to a transformation of the creature, not only in its manner of thinking and of acting, which becomes divine, but which, causes it to disappear and annihilate itself to give place to Me. This degree is the work of the Holy Spirit alone who becomes the soul of this soul and the life of this body. This point which leads to union, even more, to unity, is the point of perfection which approaches most to the Trinity." "The more souls unify themselves with this Unity by union, the more these souls are fecund..."

The thing that really excites me about living in the Divine Will is the effect it has, through us, on all of humanity. I was just reading this from the 4th book of Francine B. (who Peter B. brought to our attention):

280 – You Are the Light of the World Jesus of Love My children, the light shines for you whereas these times are nothing but darkness; you are fireflies for your brothers and sisters. Those who are unaware that they are in the darkness cannot offer me their lives nor their actions so that they might be light; but you, through your abandonment in the Divine Will, you can offer me their lives and their actions; I, Jesus, I take in you their lives and their actions and I give them graces of light, this helps those children who are lost in their darkness. As they do not know that I, I am in them, then you are the link between them and me, Jesus. I am the Light which is your light, yours is linked to mine so that they may receive the light. 104 Whoever gives, receives. I multiply the graces within you, for all those who give themselves receive a hundredfold. I am The Love and I nourish you with graces of love for me, for them, and for yourselves. Through my holy, radiant Presence, receive graces of light which transform you into beings of light. I am, for each of you, a radiant Being, be beings of light for your brothers and sisters. I, I keep you preciously in that radiance to illuminate the earth which is becoming dark, so dark that soon all will be nothing but darkness. Because sins proliferate, this earth is destined to disappear forever, but because of your radiant presence, you show me how beautiful your earth is, which shines through your acts of gratitude towards its Creator. You are the ones who keep their lamps lit until my return...

(Luisa) "I was thinking about today’s Feast – that is, the Feast of Christ the King; and my sweet Jesus, moving in my interior, told me: “My daughter, the Church does nothing but intuitively grasp what She must know on my Divine Will and how Its Kingdom must come. Therefore, this Feast is the prelude of the Kingdom of my Divine Fiat. Indeed, the Church is doing nothing other than honoring my Humanity with those titles which, by right, are due to It; and when She has given Me all the honors that befit Me, She will move on to honor and to institute the Feast to the Kingdom of my Divine Will, by which my Humanity was animated. The Church proceeds step by step, and now She institutes the Feast to my Heart, now She consecrates the century, in all solemnity, to Christ the Redeemer, and now She moves on, with greater solemnity, to institute the Feast to Christ the King. Christ the King means that He must have His Kingdom, He must have peoples worthy of such a King. And who will ever be able to form for Me this Kingdom if not my Will? Then, yes, will I be able to say: ‘I have my people – my Fiat has formed it for Me.’ Oh! if the leaders of the Church knew what I have manifested to you about my Divine Will, what I want to do, Its great prodigies, my yearnings, my sorrowful heartbeats, my anguishing sighs, for I want my Will to reign, to make everyone happy, to restore the human family - they would feel that in this Feast of Christ the King is nothing other than the secret echo of my Heart which, echoing in them, without their knowing it, has them institute for Me the Feast of Christ the King in order to call their attention and reflection. ‘Christ the King…. And His true people – where are they?’ And they would say: ‘Let us hasten to make His Divine Will known; let us let It reign, that we may give a people to Christ the King, whom we have called so. Otherwise, we have honored Him with words, but not with facts’.” Book of Heaven, Vol. 25, October 28, 1928

I know i may be sweating the small stuff as they say, but one aspect i struggle with is when i try to unite my activities with Jesus.
i can handle it for things like walking, driving, and some of the physical aspects of my work looking after my family, but there are so many parts of my day that i just can't see Jesus really wanting to do it in His Will e.g when i try to do a Sudoku puzzle, or go on the internet, or watch something on t.v - even if it is wholesome.
Many of my 21 century activities just seem so far removed from Jesus that i just can't see it as part of His Will.
Am i over-thinking this or what?

Don't worry too much about these things, just be with Jesus always and little by little He will take your desire for these things away. Actually, He will probably one day remove all obstacles that keep us from Him away from us anyway!

I think it's really important to balance our day with a little recreation (so did St. Teresa of Avila - the Carmelites have recreation, too!).

I try to remember to join my wholesome recreation with the recreation of Jesus and the Blessed Mother when they walked the earth, in the Divine Will, to make reparation for my brothers and sisters who make recreation a false god.

The gift of life was created perfect...those little things you stated our part of the experience. Our human nature needs rest and relaxation...but it also needs mental and physical workouts. I'm sure the apostles were fishing, working and playing in-between their spiritual lessons.

“My daughter, it is true that the living in my Will is a gift, and it is to possess the greatest gift; but this gift - which contains infinite value, which is currency that arises at each instant, which is light that never goes out, which is sun that never sets, which puts the soul in her place, established by God in the divine order, and therefore she takes her place of honor and of sovereignty in the Creation – is given but to one who is disposed, to one who will not waste it, to one who will esteem it so much and love it more than his own life; even more, he must be ready to sacrifice his own life so that this gift of my Will may have supremacy over everything, and be held as more than life itself - even more, his life be nothing compared to It.

Therefore, first I want to see that the soul really wants to do my Will and never her own, that she is ready to make any sacrifice in order to do Mine, and that in everything she does, she always asks Me for the gift of my Will, even just as a loan. Then, when I see that she does nothing without the loan my Will, I give it as gift, because by asking for it over and over again, she has formed the void within her soul, in which to place this celestial gift..."

I want to explore this devotion more fully, but sadly do not have a lot of spare time now. But I do have a question. The by, with, in, and for Mary mentioned in BC's post, is that related to de Montfort's consecration? In True Devotion, the chapter entitled Particular and Interior Practices for those who wish to be Perfect, speaks directly to doing all of our actions by Mary, with Mary, in Mary, and for Mary so that we do them more perfectly by Jesus, with Jesus, in Jesus, and for Jesus. So, is there overlap between the two devotions? Sorry if this is addressed in the thread, but I haven't had time to read all the posts thoroughly.
