I find it to be very confusing but I thought some members might be interested in reading some of the approved prophecies about the Antichrist because there is a lot of discussion on this topic on the forum. I remembered Rev. I should also state that I am not very familiar with Sr. Jeanne Le Royer and I could not confirm the status of her prophecies but some were included in Desmond Birch's book and he states that he has only included approved private revelations in his text. May God bless us all. Edited to add: Padraig recently stated on the Vatican Has Fallen thread, "what is occurring now is a kind of dry run or mirror effect of the End of Times. A kind of mirror effect." I think there is a lot of truth in that statement, it is possible that the world goes to the very edge of the precipice and we will be pulled back and given more time until the 3.5 year reign of the Antichrist.
MMM, I used to look at the horror of abortion, then at abandonment of natural law via same-sex unions, and finally at transgenderism, as a signal of the definitive arrival of God's Justice. I used to look at economic signals and then political upheaval as key signals. Recently, the visible disunity within the Church has struck me as a harbinger. To tell you the truth, at this point, the only possible barometers for me are the prophecies of Our Lady of Success and the predictions coming from Garabandal. These are relatively close because the first promises rescue near the beginning of the 20th century, and the second is constrained by the age of Conchita who is now 69. Apart from those two I am clueless. Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
...I'm sure there are others here (and elsewhere) who are like me, in that I feel I have no peace inside of me....basically due to what is going on outside of me. As right becomes wrong, and wrong becomes right more and more, and as I see, everyday, morality being redefined and the absolute hatred and slandering of anyone of who disagrees with this, my day begins and ends with thoughts of this madness going on in the country and world. I really don't know how to find this elusive inner peace, though I pray for it. I suppose I could turn off and stop reading about anything that's going on, but I feel I need to be informed. And certainly, a major part of my lack of inner peace, right or wrong, comes from the fact that I believe the United States could easily slip into Godless socialism......with just a relatively small number of votes from the ignorant swinging us that way. I find it the utter irony that the half of the country which demonizes the other half as trying to force their will upon others, want to do the very same thing. And, I find it all unsettling, and have yet to find that inner peace....which, I sadly suppose, is my own lack of trust in God. What's that quote..."If you can keep your head about you, when all about you are losing theirs..."
Mark, I have no basis to judge your own lack of trust in God for what goes on outside you. But if you and I can trust God's mercy when we fall short in those matters which pertain to our inner life, then we can lay down at night in peace. What we are experiencing now are the consequences of when a people and their leaders turn away from God. I was grieved when Trump chose the funding of the military over that of Planned Parenthood. It reveals a godless influence far worse than socialism. Trump hopes that the evangelical base that elected him will forget this compromise. If he is right, things will only slide more downhill in the midterm elections. The ongoing genocide of 5o million babes is the lifeline of demonic influence over our nation. As long as we fail to confront and reject this curse as a people, then this nation will remain under God's judgment. After all, ultimately it is only Christ the King who rules. Thank you for the links, I was going to look but you did my work for me! The writing of Rev. Culleton's book resonates particularly because the world it seems in my recollection has been being "staged" if you will for quite some time now. Incrementally preparing the people of the world for this time because it would have been impossible to unveil such evils even just a short time ago the outrage would have been so intense. I most definitely believe the 100 years prophecy of Pope Leo XIII vision. Also, when I look back on the history leading into the WW's I often think of the incredible evils that were visited upon the world leading up to them. I too consider that these were stages that were set as well. Much like today. However, what we saw then as compared to now was a world which was overwhelmingly religious and most importantly God fearing. So many paid the ultimate price in those wars both in innocent blood as well as personal sacrifice. A search of pictures of Arlington cemetery tells the story well with its rows upon rows of Crosses. Now, we are living in a time when the fear of God is simply dismissed as some kind of superstition or mental illness. Even when the Bible specifically tells us that fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. It is hard to even comprehend such a change in thinking. We now have a mass which has emptied the Church world wide and yet many Priests and Bishops insist on continued "reforms" in spite of it. I firmly believe that as these things progress the Graces that God will pour out on His children will be immense and that just as your post closes pointing out a great many things will be revealed and understood via prophets of God and visions. Through the Sacrifice of your Blessed son, Jesus. Lord have Mercy on us all.

One thing I noticed on the forum over the years concerning the Chastisement is our misunderstanding of time. We keep thinking we are on the very verge of things happening and it never does. God's ways are not our ways, nor His timescale ours; as St Peter pointed out:
Some people then have come to think that it has not happened yet it is never going to happen. But the wheels of God grind slowly but they grind exceedingly small. As Our Lady has indicated the chalice is filling up. There will be a time though when it overflows. Who knows the day or the hour?
Unreal, I was just thinking these thoughts before I logged onto the forum. I was thinking how far will God allow us to slip down the slope before he intervenes? Since there is coming a major chastisement of fire we can only imagine that this great purification will be very severe. How far things have already fallen -- break down in law and order, the attack on family, the holocaust of the unborn, abominable marriages promoted, perversion encouraged through alternative lifestyles, the attack on gender defying basic biology, a pornographic age like never before -- a new Dark Ages has beset humanity. The majority are indoctrinated so the few lone voices are shouting in the wilderness (thank God for sane people like Jordan Peterson).
Sometimes when I am out walking I look at people , complete strangers and wonder; 'Are you going the heaven or hell when you die?' I never used to think like this when I was younger; I was very , very innocent, I thought everyone and everything was just fine. Now I am older I think just the reverse. It's not that I don't like people, I love them more than ever, but I have a much grimmer view on how people are responding to God. Basically people who do not pray (barring a miracle) are going to hell. Whereas people who do pray are (basically) going to heaven. Most people simply, in my view, these days, don't even think about God, He is just not on the radar.. God knows these things so His hand, so to speak is forced, He has to intervene to save them. Especially I think young people; there are so many temptations. There is a part of St Faustina's Diary that bears on this. She had returned from Kracow as a young nun to her little country village, I suppose this would have been about the 1920's. The neighbours all came round to see the young nun. These would have been ordinary Catholic Polish people of the period. But the saints view of their spiritual state makes very grim reading. I would say things are a hundred times worse than the 1920's now. My own view at the moment would be that by far the greater portion of mankind will go to hell.

Just wanted to say, I know that a lot of people on this forum follow only the approved prophecies by the Catholic Church, but I wonder if any people consider the fact that satan reads prophecy, too, and will adjust his plans according to what Heaven reveals. That's already evident in the Secret of La Salette, if you are familiar with it. It has been mitigated by prayer and penance by the faithful, and some of the prophecies about the Great Tribulation/antichrist have been changed by satan's actions. That is why I follow the more recent prophecies, even if they are not approved, because they tend be more accurate on what is currently happening in the world. Sometimes even being accurate to the point of moment-by-moment. But, of course, if you know me, that's why I have my prophecy blog on this stuff, even though most people want to stick only with the approved stuff by the Catholic Church. Anyways, just wanted people to consider satan as they contemplate all this stuff. That's my two cents on this. I'll go back to lurking. Peace.
On 19 September 1851, Pope Pius IX formally approved the public devotion and prayers to Our Lady of La Salette, referring to its messages of apparition as "secrets". On 24 August 1852, Pope Pius IX once again mentioned the construction of the altar to La Salette. The same papal bull granted the foundation of the Association of Our Lady of La Salette, formalized on 7 September. On 21 August 1879, Pope Leo XIII formally granted a Canonical Coronation to the image at the Basilica of Our Lady of La Salette. A Russian style tiara was granted to the image, instead of the solar-type tiara used in its traditional depictions of Virgin Mary during her apparitions. According to the children's account, the Virgin invited people to respect the repose of the seventh day, and to respect the name of God. She sorrowfully threatened punishment, in particular a scarcity of potatoes, which would rot. The context of these punishments places the warning just prior to the winter of 1846–1847, which was in Europe, and especially in France and in Ireland, a period of famine in the months which followed the apparition. This was one of the factors of the apparition's popular appeal. The message of the visionaries of La Salette focuses on the conversion of all humanity to Christ. John Vianney, John Bosco, and writer Joris-Karl Huysmans were all influenced by La Salette. The spirit of La Salette is said to be one of prayer, conversion, and commitment. Fr. René J. Butler, M.S. of the La Salette Missionaries of North America says, "The whole purpose of the Apparition of Our Lady of La Salette was reconciliation." Pope John Paul II stated: "As I wrote on the occasion of the 150th anniversary, 'La Salette is a message of hope, for our hope is nourished by the intercession of her who is the Mother of mankind." (Source – Wikipedia) Saint Annibale di Francia (Founder of the Rogationists and Daughters of the Divine Zeal) who was the Extraordinary Confessor to Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta, and where Melanie Calvat stayed at his Institute (Daughters of the Divine Zeal) for a year, wrote to Luisa on April 27, 1927 saying, “When Melanie was staying with us, this elect creature had the gift of performing miracles, and she bestowed several healings.
God can see a lot farther ahead than the devil can. There are approved prophecies all the way back to the early centuries of the Church predicting the current state of the Church and the world. Just look at the detail and accuracy of something like Our Lady of Good Success. People are free to look at whatever "seers" they wish as long as they are not condemned. My biggest worry about this is that many look only to the modern seers and do not study approved prophecy very much, when in reality the reverse should be true. Another problem I see is that people don't just read the unapproved, but they put their faith in them. This is dangerous and people wind up crushed when one after another they are proven to be either frauds or deluded by the devil. Bayside, Maria Divine Mercy, LTTW, Charlie. The list goes on. People put time, money, hope, and faith in these and it damages their faith when their favorite "seer" turns out not to be one at all. God is perfect and accurate. He does not change with the times. In years of looking at this forum I have not seen someone post a modern day prophecy that has told me something I needed to know and was not told by an approved one.
That's great that you are familiar with the public part of the message of Our Lady of La Salette. The public part of the message refers to the potato famine and the rule of the religious order that was given to both Melanie and Maximin by the Mother of God. However, I was referring to the change of the Secret part of the message given by Our Lady--one secret was given to Melanie and one secret was given to Maximin, both of which were not to be revealed until about ten years later after the apparition took place and after the potato famine happened (the exact year I do not know off-hand, I'd have to look it up, I have it on my blog). If you are familiar with both Secret parts of the message by Our Lady, both have clearly been modified by prayer, penance, and satan. The Secret parts refer to the Great Tribulation and the antichrist. And both Secrets are approved by the governing Bishop over the apparition. Anyways, the reason I mention La Salette, is because people when considering prophecy tend to forget that satan is very much involved in the process when prophecy is given by Heaven. Heaven is fully aware that there are two audiences when prophecy is given -- one, mankind, and two, satan. So, prophecy inherently changes the moment it is given by Heaven due to the actions of both groups -- mankind and satan. Anyways, for people who would like to consider this further, here is a posting on my sister blog (I have a couple of prophecy blogs). This is a message given by Our Lord about the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The particular prophet is neither approved nor disapproved, so it should be alright for all people to read--that is why I posting a link to it. I was actually introduced to this particular prophet by a fellow forum member.
