According to Fr Blount, the Antichrist today is a world leader. He didn’t say if the man was a religious figure, a businessman, or a monarch. He just said, the AC was indifferent in seeing him.
I don't believe the anti Christ comes until just before the Final Battle at the End of Time. We are not there yet. For some reason Fr Blount gives me a bad case of the Willie's I can't even bear to watch him. As Caesar says of Cassius in Shakespeare, he s miles and smiles and too much
Fr Blount is a very holy man. He's in the whole charismatic movement which probably isn't your thing and probably explains the Willie's you feel. But he is most definitely a holy priest, very devoted to the eucharist and the blessed mother. Whether his supposed visions are real or just his own imagination is something else. Charismatics do tend to have over active imaginations.
There is only one religion, but he will try to attract the maximum number of religious leaders to his global governance project. There are many Protestants who resist the implementation of the new world order, so they will also be targets of the operation of error. According to the didache (catechism of the early Church), the seducer of the world will appear at the end of time as if he were Christ himself, so we can see in this description a figure of the Beast that the false prophet will make people worship through supernatural wonders such as making fire descend from heaven (which indicates that he will also imitate Elijah's ministry).
CHAPTER 16 16:1 Watch concerning your life; let not your lamps be quenched or your loins be loosed, but be ye ready, for ye know not the hour at which our Lord cometh. 16:2 But be ye gathered together frequently, seeking what is suitable for your souls; for the whole time of your faith shall profit you not, unless ye be found perfect in the last time. 16:3 For in the last days false prophets and seducers shall be multiplied, and the sheep shall be turned into wolves, and love shall be turned into hate; 16:4 and because iniquity aboundeth they shall hate each other, and persecute each other, and deliver each other up; and then shall the Deceiver of the world appear as the Son of God, and shall do signs and wonders, and the earth shall be delivered into his hands; and he shall do unlawful things, such as have never happened since the beginning of the world. 16:5 Then shall the creation of man come to the fiery trial of proof, and many shall be offended and shall perish; but they who remain in their faith shall be saved by the rock of offence itself. 16:6 And then shall appear the signs of the truth; first the sign of the appearance in heaven, then the sign of the sound of the trumpet, and thirdly the resurrection of the dead 16:7 -- not of all, but as it has been said, The Lord shall come and all his saints with him; 16:8 then shall the world behold the Lord coming on the clouds of heaven. {The End of the Didache}
The perennial philosophy (Latin: philosophia perennis),[note 1] also referred to as perennialism and perennial wisdom, is a perspective in philosophy and spirituality that views religious traditions as sharing a single, metaphysical truth or origin from which all esoteric and exoteric knowledge and doctrine has grown. Perennialism has its roots in the Renaissance interest in neo-Platonism and its idea of the One, from which all existence emerges. Marsilio Ficino (1433–1499) sought to integrate Hermeticism with Greek and Christian thought,[1] discerning a prisca theologia which could be found in all ages.[2] Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (1463–94) suggested that truth could be found in many, rather than just two, traditions. He proposed a harmony between the thought of Plato and Aristotle, and saw aspects of the prisca theologia in Averroes (Ibn Rushd), the Quran, the Kabbalah and other sources.[3] Agostino Steuco (1497–1548) coined the term philosophia perennis.[4] A more popular interpretation argues for universalism, the idea that all religions, underneath seeming differences, point to the same Truth. In the early 19th century the Transcendentalists propagated the idea of a metaphysical Truth and universalism, which inspired the Unitarians, who proselytized among Indian elites. Towards the end of the 19th century, the Theosophical Society further popularized universalism, not only in the western world, but also in western colonies. In the 20th century, universalism was further popularized through the Advaita Vedanta and Sufism inspired Traditionalist School, which argued for a metaphysical, single origin of the orthodox religions, and by Aldous Huxley and his book The Perennial Philosophy, which was inspired by neo-Vedanta. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Per... philosophia,knowledge and doctrine has grown.
I believe that the antichrist will use the Perelianist philosophy to deceive the elect and consolidate his dominance in some strongholds that resist secularism and liberalism, such as Islam and Judaism; in this way, he will not say that religions are the cause of all evil but rather that they all have a divine origin in common and that men have distorted this.

It’s an interesting article. Says a lot about the power of a Pope. https://www.cnn.com/2015/09/13/us/pope-obama-critics/index.html

Don't be intimidated by people who say a Catholic has no "authority" to speak the truth. The Pharisees used the same tactics. According to Canon Law, lay Catholics have "the obligation and possess the right" to do a number of things, including: Canon 212 §3. According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they possess, they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful, without prejudice to the integrity of faith and morals, with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons. Canon 229 §1. Lay persons are bound by the obligation and possess the right to acquire knowledge of Christian doctrine appropriate to the capacity and condition of each in order for them to be able to live according to this doctrine, announce it themselves, defend it if necessary, and take their part in exercising the apostolate.
The False Prophet and the man called "the Antichrist" will be the same person. The term "the Antichrist" is the Church Fathers term for the man who is known by many different names in different prophecies ("the little horn," "the Man of Sin," "the Son of Perdition," "the False Prophet," etc.) In the Apocalypse, there are three evil entities mentioned: (1) the dragon, (2) the Beast, and (3) the False Prophet (see Apoc. 16:13). That threesome is the unholy Trinity. In Apocalypse 17, the "whore of Babylon" (i.e., false Catholics, false brethren) is described as riding "the Beast." The "Beast" referred to there is the Counterfeit Catholic Church (aka "the Beast of the Sea" in Apoc. 13). The "eighth head" of that Beast of the Sea (Apoc. 17:11) is the False Prophet, who is also called "the Beast of the Earth" in Apocalypse 13. So, the Unholy Trinity will be in a single man with the different facets: 1. The Dragon = Satan (Apoc. 12:9), because the Antichrist is possessed by Satan. 2. The Beast from the Sea = the governance of Counterfeit Catholic Church, the Beast (Apoc. 13:1), because he is its head, Antipope. 3. The Beast from the Earth = the False Prophet, the false teacher, aka the Antichrist (Apoc. 13:11) All of these entities are manifested in a single human being. Just as there are three persons in God, there are three entities that make up Antichrist: Satan (the Dragon) takes control of the False Church by possessing its Antipope, who is also called the False Prophet (deceiving the masses with false teaching and fake miracles). And Judas is the figure or model of the Antichrist: 1. Judas was a false disciple, an infiltrator (but a bona fide member of the Twelve). The Antichrist will be a false Pope. 2. Satan entered Judas at the Last Supper (he was possessed by the devil). The Antichrist will be thoroughly possessed. 3. Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss (with false affection he handed him over). The Antichrist will betray the teachings of Jesus for the sake of wokism, false mercy for the victims of religious intolerance. He will claim to be more Christ-like than Jesus himself. Same person. Three stages.
Properly speaking, an Antipope is not "a Pope." That is why the prefix "anti-" is in the word. So what exactly is your point?
Is it possible to have been elected Pope legally and still be a false one? A Pope who is an unbeliever?
