The dates of replies are in very light font--so light I can't read them at a glance. I have to mouse over each individual post in order to read the date it was posted, only then does the font darken enough for me to see it without a struggle. Would it be too much trouble to darken the font so it's easy to read all of the time?
It's true I have passed this on to Sadik to fix. I hope to change the colour of the forum myself a little later as Connie mentioned, it shouldn't be too hard.
I think Padraig would be the right person to explain... But in short, it's a button which takes you to a Paypal page where you can send whatever small donation you like to Padraig to help him cover the costs of runing the site. Since the site is now hosted on it's own hosting space purchased by Padraig, there is a monthly cost associated with running the site. Regards
I was not aware that our beloved founder/webmaster had his story in book form until recently (http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/padraigh) . The expense is minimal but the graces are rich. I was disappointed to see some of the hateful comments his book had received. Please leave an honest comment about Padraig and his works if you can. The Lord directed me to the USCCB's Introduction of Galatians in prayer this morning, I think in regards to Padraig's shabby treatment: These interlopers insisted on the necessity of following certain precepts of the Mosaic law along with faith in Christ. They were undermining Paul’s authority also, asserting that he had not been trained by Jesus himself, that his gospel did not agree with that of the original and true apostles in Jerusalem, that he had kept from his converts in Galatia the necessity of accepting circumcision and other key obligations of the Jewish law, in order more easily to win them to Christ, and that his gospel was thus not the full and authentic one held by “those of repute” in Jerusalem (Gal 2:2).
It doesn't bother me Daniel. It kinda makes me laugh. One person set up a internet site in my name as a Radical, over the top Gay queen.Which made me laugh. Its still out there somewhere. Anyone being a Catholic on the web will get hit and get hit hard, if they don't they're doing something wrong. I have to say the brickbats will probably come from your own fellow Catholics first. If people want to contribute to the forum move I am sure Our Lady will bless them. If not I am sure Our Lady will bless them anyway. But she was showing me she wanted to start spending much more time on the forum as the darkness deepens.
