The prayers of this forum and of our friends and community have brought incredible results for our daughter and her family. Although tHey lost pretty well everything they have been blessed by many monetary donations and clothing etc.and have had many offers of people offering homes etc in a community with very little or no housing options. It is truly a Blessing from God. They are settled in a furnished house and have been able to have all their needs met. Now the process of rebuilding begins. They 8 year old made his first confession on Sunday and hopefully the rest will get there Wed or Thursday. Please pray for that and for a healthy pregnancy and baby after all this turmoil. We cannot fathom the generosity of the people here .

This is wonderful news Rory. I am so glad to hear it. Its a true Christmas story. At the coldest time of the year generous loving people made room at the inn! It warms my heart. Unbelievable charity! Offering their summer homes, last night a young fellow that worked with her husband sent up a lovely pair of boots. She was so humbled she said. Now I can walk the dog. I could go on and on. I pray and pray for my son and for others on this forum and will continue but our lives could be different today but for the intervention of God and His Angelsand Saints.
This is such a Christmas blessing for all of us in the midst of constant darkness on every side. Such a good reminder of God's powerful presence among us. Your daughter's response to the boots is so touching.
